Seems as though the Aunt tried her best to speak up about how terrible of a parent this demon was, but her sibling mollycoddled her adult daughter and made constant excuses for her.

That's absolutely horrific. I just cant imagine what was going through her sweet little mind. She was old enough to know she was left alone. The pain must had been horrific for her. So many don't understand what your body goes through when passing from dehydration & starvation.

I'm in Melbourne Australia and I'm a mother. My kids are young adults and 15 yrs old and I still worry leaving them home when I go to work. Which I'd crazy as they are grown but I do. I can't believe this so called mother and she isn't upset. I'm in tears over this case.
I have two kids and I have always enjoyed going on trips with them. I’m not into partying I love taking my kids to the zoo, games, museums. I am soo beyond angry for this baby. I wish the cops would’ve been called by a neighbor.

If my neighbors baby was crying for an extended period you better believe I’d be over there checking to see if everything is ok or if they need help. As a mom myself, hearing a baby cry sets off a natural instinct in me to help.

How do you know they heard? I only hear my TV or music. I can't hear what my neighbours are up to, and I don't want to hear. You don't expect someone to leave their baby alone for weeks, so no one is listening out for that.

Oh my goodness I would have watched that baby for her!! To know that baby literally cried till she couldn’t cry anymore because she was so dehydrated and weak. Then laid there all alone till she took her last breath not feeling any love is unfathomable.
My sweet boy just turned two last week, and I can't even listen to him cry for more than five or ten minutes, even on days when I NEED to take a break from the noise. It's been almost 7 years being a mama, breaks don't exist until they're all asleep at night . As well I can't imagine leaving my children in a car while I go into the store let alone home alone and suffering like this sweet baby girl. My heart is broken for this little angel and I wish she'd had someone to advocate for her and love her.

After this case I found out a few days ago about a mom in Ohio this was in 2015 but the mom beheaded her 3 month old baby

In her statement “nobody knew what I was going through” it’s like she’s saying “my personal problems were absolutely more important than the suffering and the life of my own child”. The older lady is an aunt of the mother. She says that when the grandparents went back to Ecuador her neice pushed her away, became estranged - so she did not know what the arrangements were on a day to day basis for her great-neice.

As a new mom, I think about this poor baby a lot. She cried for her mother, for food, screaming for relief of the pain she was in for days. An innocent soul withered away because the mother she loved denied her.

I was just thinking about this if I was in that position and quite literally I just found my daughters body they’re dead I would be completely devastated and torn apart. She just went to sleep she would have been to exausted to cry by that point people who die of dehydration and or starvation just peacefully drift off to sleep I hope that makes you feel better somehow but I see it all the time with dementia patients and honestly it’s the most peaceful way for them to go. It’s still super sad that she was suffering before that point and her crying was harrowing to hear almost unbearable to listen too and I can’t imagine how heartless you would have to be to do something like this.
Not to mention dying of loneliness and abandonment by those who should love and protect you.

It’s so crazy cuz I was just in PR, got back Sunday and I had my neighbor come by everyday to feed my cats and clean the litter box. I looked forward to the videos he sent me everyday and this woman left her baby alone. It’s truly insane!

The way the mother spoke was like she was reporting a robbery or something and NOT the actual death of her baby due to her actions. So heartbreaking.

The mother is speaking like it’s “a matter of fact” attitude with no emotion, no tears, nothing. The aunt doesn’t seem phased, no emotion either. This precious innocent baby is in peace and in a better place while the mother will rot and suffer in jail well deservingly.

She's a wicked, vile woman for doing this to that precious baby. All she had to do was get someone to watch her. I can't understand as a mother how anyone could do something so heinous to their own child, it doesn't compute. Post partum is real, but that's why you need to ask for help, and it sounds like she refused support from her aunt who probably would have loved a week or two with her great-niece. It's okay to ask for help, it's not okay to abandon your baby.

When I was postpartum, I had dreams all the time that I left my kid & forgot about her somewhere. I'd wake up in a cold sweat, having to stop myself from screaming, & would instantly go to her to make sure she was there & OK. I can't imagine getting to the driveway knowing I was just leaving my kid alone like that, let alone on a plane & to a whole other country. It makes me want to have a panic attack just to think about. She's absolutely heartless.

I get chills every time I hear that detective speaking on behalf of her department and on behalf of that innocent little baby. She did an amazing job. If I was a juror that day her testimony would have been enough for me.

She has left her child before. The neighbor was trying to figure out how to pay for the child’s formula since the mother didn’t come home.
I think she didn’t want to be a mother. As long as others were taking care of her child, she could care less. Leaving your child in a soiled pack and play to starve is evil. Seriously, give your child to a family member or give the child up for adoption. She didn’t have to resort to this. How disgusting.

Yes that is the sad problem too. Some people might think “oh it is none of my business” or they are afraid of the person they are confronting. However, I can’t imagine the awful pain the baby endured and I would have checked on her if I heard the crying. Just so, so sad.
My cousin fostered our other younger cousin’s child because she was being neglectful. It’s worth it to get in someone’s business when it comes to an innocent baby. I wish they would have called child protective services because after so many times of knowing she left the child alone this was bound to happen

I have 2children, the eldest being 4 and the youngest I 1 and a half, and I can’t even go to the toilet for 2 minutes without worrying if they are going to be fine or will they need something while I am not next to them. Hearing that sweet baby’s cry just broke me. How could a mother do this

My son was 5 months old when my husband and I decided to take a 5-day trip. We left our son with my mom, dad, and my sister (who is still such a loving second mom to my son). The second day I woke up bawling my eyes out because I missed him. I was constantly on the phone with my mom to see how he is and what he is doing. I tried but I can’t understand what this woman was thinking. She deserves to rot in solitary!
How could she eat, sleep, take instagram pictures and, live her best life all the while that poor baby starved, sat in her own filth and, crying for someone to care 😤😤😣☹️
This whole family is messed up. This lady also had an older daughter that was staying with her parents and she could’ve taken the baby to them to watch the baby also but she didn’t. The grandparents seemed to never check up on who was even watching the baby and then when they find out the baby was dead after being left behind in the house they forgave her right away and felt sorry for her this is crazy
I think the mother is even more to blame for that. Some families are pushed away by people that family tends to try and reach out. There are limits and the family wouldn't think their own child would stoop so low to neglecting a child to her death.
The families issurs definitely played a role, from what I recall she had many, many options for someone to care for her child and she just selfishly chose no one to care for Jaylen. She deserves everything she will get when she is in prison
In the stairwell, didn’t the aunt say that the parents/grandparents had returned to Ecaudor sime time ago? She said that the mother had not got on with her, and since then distanced herself from her aunt and other family members - so that they did not know what the day-to -day arrangements were for the baby.
@@lila-gracenunyasun1334nah she was a terrible mom, people were tired of babysitting because she was constantly asking. She would also almost never pick the child up when she said she would. She’d leave the baby with people for days, when they only agreed to watch the baby for a few hours or one day. Not to excuse what this woman did whatsoever, she is the only one to blame for her actions. I’m sure she could have easily made a phone call and told someone she left the baby after landing in Puerto Rico or whatever. That would still be horrible and dangerous, but far less cruel than just letting the baby go the way she did. I can’t think of anything mean enough to say about this woman.

I saw a short interview with the neighbour who said she used to leave the baby with them and also alone. She said, if only Kristal would have asked her for help, they would have taken the baby and they never charged her for watching the baby. I can't believe how this woman lied so much.
