I love this face wash! I have sensitive and dry/oily skin. When I use this face wash it is very nice feel on my skin. I never feel irritated and it protects my skin barrier❤ when I try to use other washes my skin doesn’t like it. Thank you for making this video❤

@Melissa Van Dijk I ended up returning it, but now I'm using the LA Roche Posay hydrating cleanser and their face and body lotion on my face and idk how or what it has but it's improved my skin, I used it yesterday morning and night and then today in the morning and I can already see my skin a lot less red, hydrated and even my acne scars are fading. For several months of use, the change I feel is that the oil on my skin is reduced but the sand pimples are not reduced. Is it because I do not use moisturizer and sunscreen? If yes, what should I use? My skin type is oily and I am a teenager .Please reply :)

    • @MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet

      Hello!
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is generally recommended for those with dry to normal skin. Since you have oily skin, I suggest trying the Daily Facial Cleanser instead. Additionally, you may want to consider adding another cleanser to your routine, such as the La Roche Posay Micropeeling Gel Cleanser or The Inkey List SA Cleanser. These cleansers contain Salicylic Acid and can help with your sand pimples.
It's also a good idea to add a lightweight, gel-based moisturizer to your routine. During the day, if you'll be exposed to the sun, be sure to use sunscreen as well. Look for products that are specifically designed for oily skin. For example, you could try a fluid sunscreen like NIOD Survival 30 and a moisturizer such as Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel or G&G Hydration Station.

Well, it depends on your personal skin tolerance to the individual ingredients in the moisturizer. This means it's impossible to tell which one is best for you unless you know what you tolerate well. Based on that, you can choose a moisturizer with suitable ingredients. As for cleansers, the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser or CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser are great options. The CeraVe lotion or cream are also good choices.

Well, Thank you but I'm only 13 well almost. Do you really think I should start using these products. And let me tell you my skin care routine read it first then tell me what to do. And I used to have so many acne and I went to the doctor he told me to use this to wash my face with Benzagel 5 Wash 5%, and the put this one on right after Clindamycin and Benzoyl peroxide Gel, 1%5%,W,W. I used these for 6 to 7 months and my acne went away right now I don't use these anymore but now I have acne marks. So now in the morning I use CeraVe foaming facial cleanser to wash my face and then I put on CeraVe moisturizing cream and I only put on SPF 50+ when I go outside but at home I don't put SPF on. At night I was my face with just soap or Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser I don't know which one to use soap or Cetaphil and Can you tell me if I have to put on a moisturizing on after using Cetaphil cause this is my first time using it and IDK anything and yeah that's it. This my night and day skin care routine. Pls repluly.

    • @MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet
      @MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet  Рік тому

@@ajmalnadim5336 Okay, so essentially, you do not need anything except for your cleanser, either the CeraVe foaming facial cleanser or the Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser (choose the one you like most or that works best for you). I would say it's the foaming cleanser. Additionally, you'll need SPF if you have prolonged sun exposure. Nothing else is needed. I would give the dark spots time to fade. :) It can take several months, depending on your skin condition or general genetics.

Oh no 😞, it seems you've purchased the wrong products. Except for the bar soap, which might work, the gentle cleanser and moisturizing lotion are intended for dry skin. If you're considering using a Cetaphil cleanser, I'd recommend their Oily Skin Cleanser or what's sometimes labeled as the Daily Facial Cleanser.
      Here's a suggested routine:
      AM:
Clean your face with the Daily Facial Cleanser/Oily Skin Cleanser or the bar soap. You could alternate between them or simply choose the one that feels best for your skin.
      Pat your skin dry.
Apply a moisturizer. Opt for a gel formulation, such as the Cerave Ultra Moisturizing Gel or The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan.
If you're exposed to the sun, finishing with a good sunscreen is recommended. The Good Molecules Sheer Mineral SPF would be a good option.
      PM:
Clean your face with the Daily Facial Cleanser/Oily Skin Cleanser or the bar soap. You could alternate between them or simply choose the one that feels best for your skin.
      Pat your skin dry.
Apply a moisturizer. Opt for a gel formulation, such as the Cerave Ultra Moisturizing Gel or The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + Beta Glucan.
These products should align well with your needs and are also reasonably priced. 😃
In the workplace, adaptations really need to be tailored to your personal needs. It's challenging for me to offer specific advice without more context.

I love this channel i have dry skin first i wasn’t allowed to put cetaphil on my face from my parents because they thought that’s only for teenagers so i looked it up and really it’s for all ages and it’s a very good product sometimes I put on makeup because I’m bored and I make myself like a clown and then I wash my face off and sometimes it doesn’t come off so well so I grab cetaphil and it goes off right away! Thank you for showing a video how you use that because I didn’t know at first and I love you videos❤
