Hello! Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is generally recommended for those with dry to normal skin. Since you have oily skin, I suggest trying the Daily Facial Cleanser instead. Additionally, you may want to consider adding another cleanser to your routine, such as the La Roche Posay Micropeeling Gel Cleanser or The Inkey List SA Cleanser. These cleansers contain Salicylic Acid and can help with your sand pimples. It's also a good idea to add a lightweight, gel-based moisturizer to your routine. During the day, if you'll be exposed to the sun, be sure to use sunscreen as well. Look for products that are specifically designed for oily skin. For example, you could try a fluid sunscreen like NIOD Survival 30 and a moisturizer such as Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel or G&G Hydration Station.

Do you mean wetting the face before application? If that's the case, then yes, you can certainly do that as well :)
is the cetaphil combination to oily to sensitive skin good for me? i have combination skin, but i have seen alot of reviews warning people not to use it. I really dont want to waste it though, bceause it was pretty expensive!
I personally prefer Cetaphil's Daily Facial Cleanser/Oily Skin Cleanser over their Gentle Skin Cleanser for my combination skin.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet thank you! ill try getting that one next time.
Hello Melissa ❤🤗 do you have a recommendation for a gentle affordable cleanser for men? Have a lovely day 😊
The Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Cleanser is a great choice, but the best price is on YesStyle.com. However, due to the current situation, you might need to wait about three weeks for delivery. Alternatively, the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser is another excellent option, which I frequently recommend in my skincare videos.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet yes of course but i mean for like 5 euro/200ml 😅 would be best if it removes makeup and cleans the skin 🤗 maybe you could do a cheap skincare series 🤗
The other one is too expensive
@@realsandro Hmm, all the other products I am aware of are either not gentle, contain fragrances, or are not available in our area. But I already thought these would be affordable options, lol. What products or brands are you currently using that are more affordable? 🤔

@@gzellerose983 Okay, so it's not really needed, and using both may irritate the skin. Cetaphil likely has the better formulation of the two, especially for simple cleansing. So, my advice would be to simply use their cleanser on its own, as it is very hydrating and does not contain any concerning ingredients. :)
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet thank youuu

Yes, both ways work.
Thanks for it but i have question is this cleanser removes tan ??plz tell
Hey! :) No, it's just a regular cleanser to wash your face.
Cetaphil cleancer useing after apply soap ? Pleace replay mam ....
Cetaphil cleanser serves a similar purpose to your soap; therefore, you should use either one or alternate between them.
I have red scars on my cheek nd doctor prescribed me this cleanser. Can I use this in morning nd in evening can I use my normal soap ??? Pls I need your help.
Yes :)
How much time we have to apply it before removing?
I've mentioned it in the short.
Heyyy does a single cleanse with this sufficient if we use sunscreen or even double cleansing with it twice would be sufficient or should we double cleanse with oils and micellar water? Skintype acne prone (not oily) I am not using water resistant sunscreen also
It really depends on your sunscreen. If you feel like you can remove your sunscreen with this cleanser-even when using it twice-you can continue using that cleanser for removal. However, I generally recommend using a balm cleanser for any type of sunscreen or makeup because it removes it from the skin more effectively.

You're amazing! I have a question,
I'm using Cetaphil Oil Skin cleanser day and night. As you know it has fragrance should I continue using it? I don't have ny issues or irritation with this
That version is also available fragrance-free. However, I've never had any issues with their fragrance. So, if you tolerate it well, then continue using it. Since you have oily skin, I would suggest using only a hydrating serum or nothing at all. Just be sure to use sunscreen if you're exposed to the sun for an extended period, like more than 30 minutes in a row.

Cetaphil Daily/Oily Facial Cleanser. However, my favorites are The Ordinary Glucoside Foaming Cleanser or Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Cleanser :)

Yes, however, if you have oily skin use a foaming/gel to foam cleanser instead.

Consider looking for a blackhead remover tool. However, it would be best to visit an esthetician for the initial extraction. Afterward, you can ask her to teach you how to do it yourself. :)

my skin barrier is damaged bcz I've started too many active ingredients together..
in winter my skin is super dry & in summer it’s combination!!
can i use this? will it be helpful for my damaged barrier??
and one more question, can i use an emollient based moisturizer on my face? is it okay on damaged skin?
Well, it depends on your personal skin tolerance to the individual ingredients in the moisturizer. This means it's impossible to tell which one is best for you unless you know what you tolerate well. Based on that, you can choose a moisturizer with suitable ingredients. As for cleansers, the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser or CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser are great options. Use a hydrating cleanser such as one from Cetaphil or CeraVe and then follow with a moisturizer like a lotion or cream-this could be from the same brand.
