This summary does not replace watching the video first. It only clarifies things.I advise you to watch it, it is very useful. Here’s the detailed translation of the main study steps into English: 1. *Eliminate Sugar: Avoid sweets to prevent slowing down your brain and to enhance your focus. 2. Change Your Mindset: Consider studying as a positive and quick experience to boost your concentration and motivation. 3. Use a Timer: Set a specific time for studying each subject, like 30 minutes, to increase productivity and effectiveness. 4. Focus on Important Content: Apply the 80/20 rule, concentrating on 20% of the material that yields 80% of the exam results. 5. Start with Answers: Review questions and answers instead of diving into unimportant details in your books. 6. Address Weaknesses: Work on improving skills and information you find challenging, avoiding review of what you’re already good at. 7. Use AI Tools: Utilize tools like GPT to organize content and generate summaries. 8. Organize Mistakes*: Collect and review mistakes you've made to avoid repeating them and to improve performance.

Thank you so much for this explainer. Honestly I was so mad at myself for getting an average grade in an exam that I put in hours and days of effort, only to see that my classmates who studied for lesser hours got better grades. I was looking for some way to work smarter, and this came up. Honestly, it does sting when you put in so much and you don’t get the desired result. I have more exams next week, I'm definitely gonna follow what you said and I hope I can do well!
literally the timer thing works so well. when i wasn't using it i always thought "man i can do this anytime i wan to" and then the next thing i know BAM its time to sleep. i went from remembering one paragraph in 10 minutes to ONE DOCUMENT IN 10-15 MINUTES just because of the timer. so just put a small but decent amount of time so you can try to ace everything you need for your test/exam/semester :D

If i were to add a tip, I would say Try to study the material right after you'd taken the lesson.
This will help you memorize and easily recall the subject even if you don't understand it all.
Wjat i can remember from the vid
- Change your mindset: "I will get this done in an hour"
- the brain is powerful and will backfire if you hesitate, gaslight yourself
- Parkinson's law
- set a timer for a task
- ex. "let's see if i can finish this chapter in an hour" instead of "i will take a whole day studying this"
- forces your brain to focus, and be efficient
- 80/20 rule
- eliminate/ don't focus on the details, but instead on the important parts
- proceed immediately to the questions and summaries
- check the answers, this is more efficient
- Focus on the "hard and you avoided" parts, do not review the things you already know
- reviewing things you mastered is a waste of time
- Mark all your mistakes and redo them the day before the test
- don't trip over the same thing again and again
- Bonus: use AI tools, with proper prompts to help you study fast
- lecture summaries, answers to quizzes, quizzes, etc.
- bonus: ditch sweets, studies show they make you lose focus before exam, instead eat nuts, berries, fish.

I remember the days where for exams we were only permitted one page of notes to take into the exam room. It was meant to summarise the course content, but many students simply decided to cramp as much as they can in the smallest font possible.
No. 7 is called the Placebo effect, lots of research has been put into it, and, funnily, scientists still don't entirely know how it works, they just know it works, and effectively also
