A lot of redundant information out there that new builders wont understand fully, so its nice to see someone condense that information in a neat package. Great value channel

The Nvidia 60 series isn't bad but is just a disappointment being optimized for 1080p vs the pricing. A lot of us went in a different direction not wanting to spend $600 (or close to it for the 4070) to play new games (at least until the 5060 series is released). If you are trying stable diffusion, run design software for your 3d printer, multitask ,run editing software, ect. the Intel/Nvidia combo is going to be a smoother more compatible experience. You can definitely build an all AMD system that can do everything but you typically have to step outside of the budget realm to do the same tasks.

I always recommend using the stock coolers unless you're planning on doing serious overclocking.
If your CPU shipped either a stock cooler, then that means AMD/Intel have done the testing and determined that cooler is enough for normal use of that CPU.
If you discover heat issues later, coolers are generally easy enough to replace.

    Hey people/ Zach,
I just found a 400 dollar (NZD so 200 ish USD ) faulty gaming pc on Facebook market place. The known problem is the motherboard but all other parts are untested.
    Here are the specs:

    Rtx 3060 12gb ( didn’t know you could get 12gb 3060s ),
    32gb ddr4 ram,
It’s a mini itx case which I would replace.
Do you think I should try snag that, cause if all other parts work it’ll be a great deal.
I know that the i5 10400f bottlenecks the 3060 by 20 ish percent but I can always upgrade.

Personally I am all for AMD however this Intel build is well done. I would argue that it does have some value over the AMD in the sense that it's running the latest gen Intel socket meaning it should technically be more future proof and capable of upgrading to newer hopefully bug free 14th gen I7's.
While at the same time I do realize the AM4 will always have that 57/5800X3D upgrade path.
All in all, very nice Intel recommendation. I love your recommendations! as a 41 year old I.T. and gaming PC hobbyist, you are always spot on perfection.

I think AMD would gain a lot of market share if it could compete with Nvidia in productivity. A 3060 is 3x faster in blender than something like a 6650xt just because of CUDA cores. Nvidia still has the best value for a lot of people because of that performance.

12100F and 2060 Super would also do great unless you're okay with AMD parts, then go for a Ryzen 5 3600 - Ryzen 5 5500 and a RX 5600 - RX 5700 XT. But you're combo is really good too, W build regardless.

    • @ShoeBaby_
      @ShoeBaby_ 7 місяців тому

also 32 GB of RAM in total is a great option, but you could settle for just 16 and spend the money on aesthetics, better GPU/CPU, or a bigger SSD. But if you specifically need more RAM nothing wrong with that, it's just that most gamers wont need a lot of it.
