Honestly F1 has some of the ballsiest photographers I've ever seen... So many of these mad lads won't even flinch when cars crash at nearly 300 kmph right next to them, in their search for the perfect shot. Kudos to them!
I don't know man, I was live at F1 race and at WRC gravel rally and let me tell you, getting close to action at rally, when they are sideways on loose surface, got my adrenalin levels much higher. At F1 it's pretty safe behind the barrier.
yeah, sometimes the picture get published even if "too blurry". I know its difficult to freeze the entire car from the blurred background but sometimes you hardly notice the car number, way too much blur. Most pro publish them on social but not so nice to me :/ maybe a better selection of the photo is appreciated.
Yeah... and I'm sure we don't even appreciate as to HOW MUCH they need to know about F1 to get shots like these (without getting in the way or endangering anyone)
A cool follow-up video could be the editing processes of these photographers. Surely with all the difficult action shots they try to get, very few photos are actually usable!
During Olympics the photographers have wifi modules on the cameras and wifi infrastructure all over the Olympic Park. The photos get uploaded immediately to a processing room where a whole squad of editors pick the best moments, edit and posprocess them and immediately send them to the respective agencies. I suppose the workflow here is similar.
I was talking with a photographer who has worked in F1 for many years. During any weekend they take thousands of pictures, and really only a handful are worth it
Very inspiring! I like the fact that you guys featured 3 different styles of photographers. 1 is very technical and heavily gear related. 2 is very abstract and very technique related. 3 is very story driven. Nice work guys! I hope to shoot an F1 race one day.
Having photographed a lot of 24H races I can appreciate this so much! We all learn about drivers, cars, races or teams through websites accompanied by photo's. Pure joy watching these guys at work!
F1 is a beautiful parade - The pics that this photographers capture give the the cars a soul is a way that the pics are captured. Amazing work ladies and gents.
MORE!!!! And LONGER!!! Thanks F1 but please share more from the photographers and live-feed video team. Love the technical stuff that brings these great images into our living rooms.
This sport will always have my heart. Kudos to you guys for bringing these kind of videos and recognizing the efforts of such talented guys. Brilliant. Would love to see more of the video guys who film the race, marshals, safety car drivers etc.
I love that Formula 1 and some of the teams are highlighting all the different careers you could pursue in Formula 1. Trying to bring the younger generation in with new ideas and passion for what they do.
Once again, Liberty giving us an exciting insight into what else happens during a race other than the obvious. Props to both them and the photographers for doing a stunning job.
You guys are so amazing for showing the artists behind the art The efforts given by photographers is truly worth after your video 👏👏 Maybe a day could come for me to be a part of the teams ❤️

I came here from another F1 photographer’s UA-cam channel who looks like he knows what he’s doing, flying first class and everything until I saw the photos he took on Instagram. I mean, totally not what I expected at all, there’s no creativity in his photos, more like snapshots of people with telephoto lens. But the photographers in this video are the bees knees! They know their craft well.
I've been following Vladimir Rys for quite some time and just started to follow Michael Potts. These guys are my inspiration as an amateur motorsports photographer.
Thank you for making a video like this. I am an amature photographer and like to take pictures and i also love f1 so this is just dreamland for me. Hope there will come more of those videos in the future.

amazing what you can do in photshop/lightroom/capture one these days :)
Fast shutter speed makes you sell photos, slow shutter speed makes you create a work of art
Just gotta find the right balance
Different subjects demand different techniques, there is no single way to archieve good art.
Not necessarily, friend. I think it depends of what kind of art the photographer is aiming
Unless you are photographers you are guessing :)
