Help!!! I finished my blanket and it looks wavy and the edges aren't straight. If this has ever been your issue, then check out this video. It may offer a solution to help your project look more presentable. Thanks for Watching! Until my Next Video!!!😊💜💛💚

Thank you! Making a sweater and the bottom is wavy! Now I can fix it. Thank you 🙏
Thank You so much for this method.
I have been making crochet blankies for over 20yrs now, and this is a great method for fixing minor problems. I would add a couple of rows of single crochet to the border to help it to have a uniform look. Also, if you are a beginner, you should be counting your stiches every few rows to check and see if you are adding/losing stitches. After you have been doing it a while, you will notice quickly if you have made an error and won't need to count stiches hardly at all.
Exactly! Great Advice. Thank you 💜
I know this is 5 years old, but I just want to say thank you so much for making this video. Every other tutorial is how to prevent this, and there’s nothing out there on how to fix it. And you made a perfect one. Thank you.
Aww thank you. it's an oldie but goodie. 💚🙃
Girl... this is exactly what I needed!!! I always end up with the wavy edges!!!
Lol. A subscriber reached out to me on Instagram and I tried to explain in words but I wasn't sure if it was effective so I decided to make a video. 😉😊
I'm not the only one then! 😂😂
Hey!! I also have wavy edges & I single crochet a blanket, did you single crochet or double with your project?
This video has made my day! I was sad about having to restart my king sized blanket from scratch. This information has truly made my day. TFS!

I was jusf crocheting tonight and I was afraid I was going to have to start over on a baby blanket id been working days on. Now I can fix my edges and be ok thank you!
Awesome! I'm so glad this help.
I know this was 2 years ago, but it helped me so much! I was upset and ready to just give up on my pillow cover, but I thought I would take a chance and look for a solution before giving up. Thank you for the help, I was able to fix it, and it being the pipsqueak yarn made my fix invisible.
Thank you I'm glad this video is still helpful. I've never worked with the Pipsqueak Yarn is it easy to work with? I bet it made a super neat pillow case. 💚🙂
I think I love you, lol! You have saved Christmas for me! Thank you so much for this video, I am almost done with my daughters throw, and looked at it last night, and it was not wavey, but it had started out wider at the bottom and got narrower from the middle on! So thankful for you and your help!
HAHA....Happy holidays! I love holiday joy! Thank you . I'm sure your daughter will love the blanket, even with a few area of added charm. 💚💚

Thank you SO MUCH AhSel!! I am a beginner and made a blanket using the Bernat soft bulky yarn. Also I used a double crochet. I have been online and UA-cam for days to learn how to fix the sides. Needless to say it it a mess! It's for my little granddaughter so it is special to me. Not special enough pto unravel it! Ok thought I was making a baby blanket, but now it is about 90" wide! Anyway, I have liked this video and subscribed to your channel. You are truly heaven sent and I can pretty much guarantee I will be on your channel constantly! Thank you for your help and knowledge! 🦋

44 year crocheted off/on, for many years, I was off, now that Im retired, I'm back with the craft to stay!!!!! Thanks ever so kindly darlin, for sharing your approach of leveling a border. I used a different approach for a blanket for my great-grand girl, which worked wonders, but was just too time consuming, I won't bother to share my style, your method is absolutely much easier, in fact perfect. I stumbled upon your channel, your work is beautiful!!!!!!!
You are so welcome! Thank you for taking the time to comment. Happy retirement 💚. I've heard that you may find yourself busier in retirement...lol. I hope you find time to relax and enjoy the craft. Again, thanks for your kind words, blessings💚🙂.
This is a fantastic fix. I spent the last two months with very heavy yarn, small stitches in a tunesia stitch Afghan. One side swayed.this is fantastic. Absolutely perfect fix. Thanks for this tutorial.
Wonderful! Thank you for your comment. I really appreciate it Have a wonderful week.💚
Thank you so much. I'm crocheting a afghan for my daughter, and half way through noticed I had dropped a stitch. This video helped so much.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for the feedback. I really appreciate it. 🙂
Thank you so much for this video. I did this exactly with my blanket and was upset not knowing how to fix it, and this is the only video I could find on how you can fix this type of boo boo. Thanks again. ❤
Thank you so much lady, I been doing crochet for 2 years and a half. I been struggling doing that part so thank you again.
You are so welcome! I hope this works for you. Have a wonderful week 💚

Awesome! Thanks!
Thank you! You make it look so easy. I'm ready to give it a go.
You're welcome! You got this 🙂
This is exactly what I was looking for.
I made a Bernet velvet
Bunting.
My edges are not that bad I just don’t like how the dc look on the edges. so now I’ll add
a border to it and your video is perfect.
Thank you so much ❤️
Awesome! Thank you.💚
Thank you so much. What a brilliant idea. I would have never thought of this.
Awesome, I'm glad I could help!
I did this fix once before totally by accident! It was my first blanket and it was wavy like the ocean 😂 I've taken up crochet again but having this issue again. Thanks for sharing this video so I can feel less bad about my wonky blanket ❤❤
You saved my project! So helpful! Thank you!
Thank you so much for making this video! I spent so much time making a blanket recently, and then realized the edges were wavy. and not even. I was so disappointed when it came out this way. I’m gonna try your suggestions from the video to fix it. Thank you so much! Just subscribed to your channel😀
You are so welcome! I hope it helps some. Wavy ends can be tricky. Sometimes the yarn isn't as easy to hid imperfections but if all else fails a nice border can help too. 💚🙂
Girl thank you!! I’m halfway through a blanket and just realized some areas are going inward. I’m so bad at finding the last stitch and making it even. Glad I found this!
WhoWhoo :-). I'm glad I could help.
Im making a beanie and my square is soo asymmetrical and this is going to help me so much to finish my second crochet project! Thank you!!!❤
Thank you for your comment. Good luck with your Beanie. I love a good beanie. 💚🙂
Thank you ever so much. Much as I try to keep the edges straight I still end up with uneven edges. Your video has helped me not to be defeated.
This saved my blanket!!! Thank you, Ahsel.
You are so welcome!💚
Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to fix my blanket .
You are a GOD SEND!!! I finished a huge blanket and missed about 4 obvious stitches in my project! Thank you for helping me to dove my problem without having to rip it all out and begin again!!!
You are so welcome! I'm glad this tutorial was helpful. Comments like this make my day. Thank you for sharing. 💚🙂💚
Love this, brilliant fix, just what I needed, Thank You 🙏
Thank you ! I'm glad I could help. .
Thankyou so much, mine was pretty wavy, this helped so much. Never to old to learn something new.
I hope not, I still want to learn how to quilt and sew 🙂💚. Thanks for your comment.
I don’t normally comment on videos but I love your crochet videos. Very simple and helpful. Omg this tip is going to help me on one of my current projects. Totally wavy and I miss understood your beginner blanket tutorial. I got to eager and messed up. I know what I did wrong but I’m like 75% done. So at this point I’m going to have to fix it.
Thanks for this video. It will help because you haven’t let me down yet!
Awesome! Thank you for taking the time to leave me positive feedback.🙂 I hope this little trick helps some. It keeps getting better the more you crochet. I'm sure your next project will be even better. Thanks again for the support. 💚
Thank you so much. I’m crocheting my first blanket. I needed a way to fix the edges. They aren’t terrible but I sure have started over enough times. This is a HUGE help. Thank you!
You are so welcome! Congrats on your first blanket. That's exciting. 💚
@@AhselAnneCrochet I did it, and it turned out great. You really can’t tell the difference unless you look really closely. I learned a lot on this first project, but I sure got tired of starting over. Using your instructions, I’m very proud of my first completed blanket. Thanks so much!
You are awesome! THANK YOU for these simple instructions to a major problem!!
Happy to help! Thanks for your comment.
This is saving my life. Thank you so much! I did a puff stitch blanket and apparently I dropped a stitch early on so I'm slightly wider at the start than 3/4 of the blanket. This should help me even it out. Making for a colleagues baby and due to an injury I just don’t have the energy to pull days of work out and do it again. Thanks again!!!
I'm so glad this helped. I felt the same way when I was making a blanket so I just said there has to be something I can do without undoing days of work. I think this technique definitely beats starting over. 😍
I was so impressed with fixing uneven edges. I have struggled for several years, and find myself removing rows, and not finishing my project out of frustration. Going to try your method. I have no doubt your video, excellent instructions with clearfication of using three stitches to correct edges will be a positive, successful experience. Thank you for sharing your excellent video 😀 Blessings 😊
You can do it! 🙂💚 I really hope this works for you. Thanks for your comment. Good Luck 💚
I think the edge fix for my crotchet temperature blanket will help. Thank u😊
Thank you so much for this video! I had made a scarf and it was awful! But this video helped me save it! ♥️
Cool Beans. I was glad I could help!
Thank you so much for this! Since all my items are for my kids, grands and husband I don't mind the imperfections, they are what makes it even more special imho. To be able to fix those items this way is so much better than redoing a whole row (or 12). Even if you can still tell that it isn't perfect I don't mind, the blankets are still beautiful and warm :)
You are so welcome! I agree I think the little imperfections make the items one of a kind. I think this tip helps some, to bring the project together even more. Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate you taking the time. Be Blessed. 💚🙂
Oh thank you so much! There aren't that many videos on how to fix an uneven edage. I almost had to rip my work all out. Thank you!
Nice! I'm glad this helped. I did this video on a whim too 🙂
Thank you so much! I crocheted my first scarf and had this problem... thank you for the easy fix!
Cool Beans! I'm glad I could help.🙂
You saved the day! It wasn't aboout number of stitches because I counted constantly. My afghan was made of stripes and some of the stripes came out tighter than others. Wow, did I have waves. Thanks so much!
Oh stripes, they can be tricky or even changing stitch patterns throughout a project. I'm glad this helps. 🙂💚
Thanks. This is extremely helpful!
lifesaver!! super clear, thank you!
You. Are. A. Project. Saver!!!! Thank you!!!!
Awe! Thank you 💚
BLESS YOU!! I made that mistake on my first crocheted blanket for my first great -grandbaby.... I was SOO upset with my 'wompy' blanket edge... I felt like crying. You have saved the day!! :-)
This made me smile🙂💚 I'm glad I was able to help some.
Thank you so much, I was looking for this video, really helpful and easy to follow thru, since Im doing an afghan blanket
Glad it was helpful! Thank you🙂
You are a life saver!!! I just finished my first blanket and don’t know what happened in the middle 😂 Thank you!
You’re welcome 😊. I'm glad I could help.
I ended up doing different stitches each row. Then i changed my hook size for a few rows and brought everything back to where i should have had it all in the 1st place. But i had only gone thru the 1st of 5 skeins so i couldnt do it your way. When im done ill use your way if its all funky. Now im using stitch markers so hopeful ill stay on track. Thank you.❤
Thank you so much! My edges always turn out wavy. You’re a lifesaver!
Happy to help! Thanks for your comment. 💚

I know I am 3 years late on watching this video, but thank you so much! This trick helped me to even out the edges of my crochet blanket without removing several rows. Thank you again.
Wow I can't believe this video is already 3 years old. I feel like I just put this out. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I still love getting helpful feedback. 💚
I missed 1 stitch in 2 rows end, in this project I am doing, 54 chains each row. I was thinking I'd have to go back 4-5 rows and I was in tears because it has taken me days. Thank god I found your video, I will continue to make it and fix it this way at the end!! ☺️
Bless you!! I needed this helpful video. Genius!!
You're so welcome!💚

Brilliant 😃💚😃?!?. Wait, I'm going to go tell my husband this. You are the BEST! Thanks for your comment.
Thank you!! I needed this for a baby blanket I'm doing!
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you so much. I ripped my blanket 1/2 out when I noticed it and then now it has done it again on one side only. So this will save me.
Thank you for this!! You’ve given me hope for my first crochet blanket. I kept dropping stitches and the rows were too long and too much work to rip out.
You can do it! Don't give up, especially if it's your first blanket project. Your next one will be even better. 💚
I’m a beginner and have this problem with edges when I crochet a lace stitch. Thanks for the info. I will try it out!
You are so welcome! I hope it helps some.
love this fix ... I was looking to use it on a scarf and a pillow cover, will try but since scarf is much smaller, the errors are way more visible ... newbie here I thought it was just me! great visuals and instruct, thanx so much.
You are so welcome! I hope it helps. Thanks for the comment. 🙂
I just started crocheting during quarantine and am making a 70” x 90” blanket and have my fair share of waves 😬 this is gonna help so much tho! I’m super happy that my project still has a chance
That's awesome on the blanket. I've been trying to stay busy too. I'm glad this video can help some. 💚
Brilliant ! Thank you just what I was looking for

You are so welcome! Nope you are definitely not alone. LOL😊💚
I accidentally dropped a whole load of stitches on my second scarf project (because I wasn't paying enough attention...) so I'm gonna try this out! Great video ❤😊
Omg! I love this video. Thanks for sharing! You have saved my blanket! xo
