Just compared the two at the range today. Shooting my 43x for the first time but it just feels so much easier and the recoil isn’t as bad compared to the 365. Just my opinion

I have the Glock 43X mos and the Sig X macro comp....as far as carrying on a daily basis I prefer the glock. I did add the shield arms mag catch and magwell for the 15 round mags. I carry both, but I usually go with the glock for comfort of carrying.
It always seems to me that people bag on the 43x and talk up the new hotness simply because newer must be better and old must be worse. Usually little more than a bunch of unfounded opinion. I bought a 43x for my wife and daughter and I loved it so much I got another for myself. I am NOT a glock fanboy and I really dislike 9mm but the carry-ability of the 43x, the price, and the available accessories really made me love this little gun. I'm about to pick up a couple threaded barrels and comps and can't wait to see the difference. One of the things I like about the 43x IS the smoothness. I got my wife the non MOS version specifically for it's sleek, slick feel since she carries in a purse a lot of the time. Great video, love the comparison and honesty.
I own multiples of each. I still prefer the Glock 43x and 48 to the X Macro. Only thing I prefer on the X Macro is the 17rd capacity and grip texture. I just have more confidence in the Glock.
I just sold my 9mm slides for my P365-380. I carry my G42 more. I recently bought the G43 and the G48 to give me the G43X. With the PSA 15 rd mag, I’m good to go. I’ve gone back to Glocks since replacing the trigger shoes with aluminum flat faced ones. Much better on the trigger finger than the plastic OEM ones.
@@Koyoo11 I got the Serpico brand and their most economical ones. The safety dingle is flush when depressed and it’s a huge difference over OEM. Plus, I didn’t want to spend too much money. Seems like excellent value.
If you're starting with a 365 or 365LX and adding 17round mags and an 'X-Macro' grip module consider Wilson Combat's X-Macro grip module. Theyre not only cheaper - around 75 for Wilson's, but Sig is now charging 99.99 for an X-Macro grip module. I have both. You lose the S/M/L backstrap option on the Sig, but IMO the grip texture on the Wilson Combat grip module is better. Plus you can add a tungsten weight kit with the Wislson. Last but bot least the Wilson Combat grip module just looks butter IMO and comes in 4 colors - black, grey, tan, and green.
I had a P365X macro. It was my everyday carry. It rusted within a couple months. I treated it just like I do all my guns. Swapped it for a 43x, and have now had it for a year, treated again, like any other gun I have, and not a sign of rust. And I actually prefer everything of the 43x other than the trigger.
Where did your macro rust? Mine rusted a bit right where the rear sight contacts the slide. But I had a g17 rust and several other guns even a stainless steel gun rust, not a massive deal mine gets carried 9-11 hrs in Texas heat outside all day.
I have both, but my P365 XMC costs twice as much as the Glock, which I can oddly shoot better than the Sig, which has the "comp" and a way NICER trigger. Although i only purchased the Glock after the sig's main trigger bar spring snapped right in the main tension loop. I'd also like to be able to swap out the barrel with the sig but the "comp" removes that option.
Here's a more cost effective option you overlooked: the P365X with a standard 12 round mag, outfitted with the Magguts +2 kit, so it's 14+1, but still small enough to fit into your pocket (even with a combo light/laser, but NOT with a red dot).
Let me try to 'splain it to you: when you buy a P365 shortly after it's first release, and the P365X isn't even whispered about, and then later on the P365X is released and all you're using are the 12 round mags anyway, and you do some research and find that the P365X grip is a significant improvement over the original P365 grip, and the flat P365X trigger is much better than the original P365 trigger, then you change the grip and trigger. And compared to the P365 family (and just about any other quality handgun), the G43X's factory sights suck, almost as bad as the factory trigger (or perhaps more--they're both the first things replaced when it's purchased).
My 43x MOS replaced my G26 for EDC. Never thought anything would be able to take the place of my26 for EDC. The 43x MOS is everything I've wanted in CCW.
how you liking it after 7 months? i recently went in myself and felt both in my hand and shot 100 rounds out of both and i feel like the 365 just felt a bit more comfortable for follow up shots
Never had a problem with Sig or with an X-Macro Comp and a couple X-Macro TacOps. Had one magazine start to 'rust' but after cleaning it with steel wool and gun lube the 'rust' is gone. If you dont like Sig - don't buy them.
Posting before watching, my answer to the question was to "get both". G43x I bought in 2019, the first gen in silver with no rails or optic cuts that now has an aftermarket RMS-c slide and one of your comps on it. Like the comp, obviously, but it also fits in G48 holsters which conceals better for me with more "keel" below the belt line. My current P365 is an X-Macro Comp with a Mischief Machine 17rd Commander grip module, for the extra weight and the extra girth. Greatly prefer it to the Glock now. Also, PSA sells a pretty decent 15rd mag that works in the 43x/48 for about $30, nice alternative to the Shield S15 mags.
Price isn’t a big deal between the two unless you keep the Glock in its stock form. Otherwise, if add extended base plates for more rounds, or pay for grip job, or aftermarket trigger, that will make it more expensive than the P365. I never leave my Glocks in their stock form. Johnny Glock Trigger, metal night sights and a tungsten guide rod are always added to my Glocks.
Glock mags are plastic over steel. It isn't just plastic. This is why it can't hold as many, the magazine is quite a bit thicker. But you bought all the extras for the 365, why didn't you buy the larger capacity mags for the glock?
i’ve trusted into my sig p365 x macro, i’ve shot all of my buddies glocks 43x, 19, 19x etc. although i do enjoy shooting the glocks and my buddies are better shots than me with them. NONE of them have been able to beat my grouping at 20,25,30, and 35 yards with my sig. even when they pick up the sig, they have tighter groups and more comfortable shooting experience. but they still “hate” sig, i’ve concluded sig hate is just propaganda for those who don’t actually consider the possibilities between brands and styles.
I had a choice between getting a near new 365 or a brand new 43x mos…. I chose to go with the 43x and I don’t regret it. Maybe later on down the track I’ll get a 365…
I just can’t get over the fact that Glock hasn’t upped the magazine capacity. I’ve had enough issues with the Shield Arms Gen 3 magazines that I don’t trust them for carry. XMacro is just a better gun for me all around. Also, the Shield Plus is an amazing competitor to both of these, and less expensive.
43X. PERIOD. I used to be on the sig bandwagon but I don’t know if glocks rusting from CC. The Xmacro was going to be my CC until I found out the finish is crap. Go Glock and get higher capacity mags for it.
I just sold my X macro and got the 43x MOS because the coating was coming off around the engravings. Absolutely not ok for the price I paid. I do think the 43x is a slight downgrade because of capacity and feel but reliability, no rust and the ability to upgrade is a win for me. I’m still kinda salty about trading it in but I’ll get over it after a few hundred rounds.

I like the Glock 43x and the Sig P365 and own both. I agree with the presenter that the original Sig P365 grip module is too small for even a medium sized hand as far as getting a good grip and for recoil mitigation. Adding the XL module turns the standard P365 into a P365X and is a very comfortable shooting gun. In order to get the same features on the Glock 43X that come as stock features on the P365 even after getting an XL grip module and an additional mag that fits that module the price turns out to be about the same.....not over $200 difference.

My builds not completely finished are x macro with Fez works xxl comped and ported slide. Put the x macro slide with a dot on the 365 lower of your choice run plus two mag guts for 14 plus 1. Best of all worlds in the 365 ecosystem. Glocks are great if I was to go that route I would use a 43x lower from nomad defense because there grips are not great and nomads are significantly better, and a slide and barrel from arc.
I'm personally rocking P365 Spectre Comp with a Icarus Precision EVO XL frame, Holosun 507K Green dot, DPM recoil spring, TLR-7 Sub, with a X Marco 17 round mag. Kind of went a little hard on the EDC but I'm confident that I will never have to purchase another pistol again. Nothing comes close imho
He didn't mention if you buy the Xmacro grip none of your 365 mags work without mods and new 17rnd mags are around $50-$60 each. Glock mags are $20-$30
I CC a custom x macro, but am changing to 43x because my macro mags are rusting. I've had them less than a year and have oiled them. The x macro is easier to shoot for me though.
@@Ron-xk2cl I'd recommend that honestly, unless you just want to keep it for fun. I'm building out a 43x right now to conceal. I got newer mags with supposed better coating and one mag started rusting from that batch. I'm keeping my macro still just because it shoots so well for me.

It is simple for me. I have both. If I had to pick one-Sig P365. Even the basic can be made great with a wilson Combat grip and a 12 round mag. The 43X, needs more upgrades. Sig also has a lifetime warranty, including the mags.
Glock has 3 safety and tbh a safety will cost you your life when you are pushing safety ill be pulling trigger so think about that and learn how to use a pistol you want ever need a safety keep finger off trigger the trigger has a bump that has to be pushed to be able to pull trigger fully .
I run a Glock 43x mos with a Johnny Glock trigger with a PMM comp, and I run the Shield Arms 15 round with a 5 round extension and my red dot is a Holosun
43x feels better shoots better all around better and cheaper its lighter glock is crazy reliable 43x all day no questions i have both and 43x towers over 365
I have them both. The sig is smoother shooter less felt recoil,but i shoot the Glock better. So I carry the Glock 365. But im improving with the 365 x and then ill put it in a rotation.
G43x for the win. Lighter to conceal carry with OEM mag. IMO 10 rounds are ample for self-defence, why would you need more if you know how to shoot? Less is more😉
Also any one on here about mag capacity doesn’t do research glock 43x can vary psa mags that hold 15 and are +5 capable all while smaller than the 365 and again not gonna go off by itself.
Once you buy 2 shield arms mags, 100 bucks for stippling and replacement sights you’re well over a 365 price wise. I think it just preference. If you’re in the Glock ecosystem it makes sense to carry a 43x. My sell for why I ended up with the 365 is the modularity. I can have short grips, long grip. Swap the slide for a longer slide. It’s like 2 guns in 1. With 1 fcu. It can be configured for the situation. The same I guess could be done if you had a 43 and Glock 48 but then you have a crappy 43 slide without the optic cuts and the front slide serrations. See it’s complicated lol the persons just gotta figure out what’s best for them!
I find it funny how so many people will justify why the sig is “better” than the daddy that started it all. The most reliable pistol. The Glock. Sorry there is only one. Glock. Sig comes out for so many different variations and markets its ass off. Mind you I don’t hate sig. My defense ammo is sig. My range ammo is sig. For life and death situation? Glock all day.
I bought an xmacro and wound up mod it into a 365xl with a Herrington three port comp. It was a badass little gun. I wound up trading it in on P320 Max. I miss it as my edc. I'm gathering up parts to build another one.
Ran a 26 for forever and recently swapped to a 365xl. Fits my hand great, great trigger, never given me any issue. If you’ve got the extra money, it’s a much nicer gun. My buddy has a 43x and it’s night and day the quality when you hold and shoot them. He did pay $300 less than me though.
My carry gun is the P365 and is easy to pocket carry. No light, no extras. If I want a full size gun then it will be something different. I want the smallest gun I can get with 7-10 rounds. If I am going somewhere that is bad my truck gun will be full size M&P 2.0 in .40 or my FN 545 tactical. You will never fire your gun more then 3 times and wont be in a gun fight on the street. The glock comes with plastic sights and the sig comes with night sights now the price is close.
Sig are garbage with crappy customer service. I sold all my sig P320 Xfive legion, P320AXG Pro, P320 Spectre Comp, P365, P365X and P365X macro comp. No more Sig for me. I'll take a Glock or SA over any sig.
You probably did not buy all those Sigs because they are a garbage company, although I do prefer HK and love Glocks. Sigs have some of the best guns on the market. P226 Legion, P229 Elite, P210, P365XL just an example. Agree that their customer service can make a lot of people angry enough to get rid of their Sigs.

I have the XL, getting a glock 19 to compare.. the aftermarket support alone makes the glock more attractive.

I’ve heard the upgraded triggers for the 43x are great.

Exactly. Why you get a regular P365 then change the grip and use that cost against the gun when there were other options is beyond me.

Sig is definitely a better gun..I have both. But the Glock is so damn cheap to get into. Generally Glock is a better option for most people.

Sig fixed it for me in about 5 weeks for $80

Hmmm…..CZ P01 (Cajunized or, not); Shadow 2 compact, etc. will have SUPERIOR triggers and will be easier to hit with…..more reliable too!

Glock magazines are steel with poly on the outside. Most of these guntuners don’t know what they’re talking about.
I am leaning towards the P365 as I can get it with a safety.

Glock has 3 safety and tbh a safety will cost you your life when you are pushing safety ill be pulling trigger so think about that and learn how to use a pistol you want ever need a safety keep finger off trigger the trigger has a bump that has to be pushed to be able to pull trigger fully .
Will I need a new holster by changing the frame from my p365 to the x macro?

I have them both. The sig is smoother shooter less felt recoil,but i shoot the Glock better. So I carry the Glock 365. But im improving with the 365 x and then ill put it in a rotation.

G43x for the win. Lighter to conceal carry with OEM mag. IMO 10 rounds are ample for self-defence, why would you need more if you know how to shoot? Less is more😉
Because you can make it a 15+1 with the Shield or, the better PSA mags….
So you have to do stuff to the 365 to bring it up to a over 200.00 dollar cheaper gun the 43x is better

Also any one on here about mag capacity doesn’t do research glock 43x can vary psa mags that hold 15 and are +5 capable all while smaller than the 365 and again not gonna go off by itself.
Once you buy 2 shield arms mags, 100 bucks for stippling and replacement sights you’re well over a 365 price wise. I think it just preference. If you’re in the Glock ecosystem it makes sense to carry a 43x. My sell for why I ended up with the 365 is the modularity. I can have short grips, long grip. Swap the slide for a longer slide. It’s like 2 guns in 1. With 1 fcu. It can be configured for the situation. The same I guess could be done if you had a 43 and Glock 48 but then you have a crappy 43 slide without the optic cuts and the front slide serrations. See it’s complicated lol the persons just gotta figure out what’s best for them!

43x is a great value but 10 rounds is not enough, a 17+1 is leagues better than having to carry two 10s and do a reload.
FYI…..Shield mags and the better PSA mags make the 43X a 15+1
I find it funny how so many people will justify why the sig is “better” than the daddy that started it all. The most reliable pistol. The Glock. Sorry there is only one. Glock. Sig comes out for so many different variations and markets its ass off. Mind you I don’t hate sig. My defense ammo is sig. My range ammo is sig. For life and death situation? Glock all day.

I bought an xmacro and wound up mod it into a 365xl with a Herrington three port comp. It was a badass little gun. I wound up trading it in on P320 Max. I miss it as my edc. I'm gathering up parts to build another one.
Ran a 26 for forever and recently swapped to a 365xl. Fits my hand great, great trigger, never given me any issue. If you’ve got the extra money, it’s a much nicer gun. My buddy has a 43x and it’s night and day the quality when you hold and shoot them. He did pay $300 less than me though.
Shield Plus
I would get Shield Plus before P365. Flat shooter for its size because of a larger form factor.
My carry gun is the P365 and is easy to pocket carry. No light, no extras. If I want a full size gun then it will be something different. I want the smallest gun I can get with 7-10 rounds. If I am going somewhere that is bad my truck gun will be full size M&P 2.0 in .40 or my FN 545 tactical. You will never fire your gun more then 3 times and wont be in a gun fight on the street. The glock comes with plastic sights and the sig comes with night sights now the price is close.

Sig are garbage with crappy customer service. I sold all my sig P320 Xfive legion, P320AXG Pro, P320 Spectre Comp, P365, P365X and P365X macro comp. No more Sig for me. I'll take a Glock or SA over any sig.
You probably did not buy all those Sigs because they are a garbage company, although I do prefer HK and love Glocks. Sigs have some of the best guns on the market. P226 Legion, P229 Elite, P210, P365XL just an example. Agree that their customer service can make a lot of people angry enough to get rid of their Sigs.
