- When carrying, do you prefer the Glock 43x MOS or Glock 19? In this video, we're going over all the differences between the two to help you figure out which one is best for you.

I put the hogue grip on my g43x and it feels like a regular compact pistol. Also running 15 round micro dagger mags with 300 rounds through each one with zero issues
My wife has the 43x but prefers the 19x. I prefer to carry the mos version of the G34, G35, and the G20. My point is where there’s a will there is a way to correctly conceal your firearm of choice properly and comfortably no matter how big or small you are. Anyway Gentlemen you have yourselves wonderful day and stay prepared.
Great video, but I disagree with the basic premise of either the 43x or the 19. The answer is BOTH. A mechanic does not just have one tool is his toolbox. Neither should the gun owner. You buy one and then a year later buy the other. Then which one you carry will depend on the circumstance. They are both legendary handguns.
Or buy a 2nd 19 one for training one for normal carry. Or buy a 48
43x for me. 180 lbs and 8 to 9 % body fat. So printing is an issue for me. Great video, as always guys . Thank you.
Eat some lul bro 😂
You might be surprised how little printing actually matters in the real world. The sheep in the grocery store are so oblivious that no one will ever notice. I have an athletic build too and I’ve carried full sized guns every day for 10 years, and no one has ever noticed in public (that I know of).
@stanthebamafan printing does matter more than you realize your not worried about other normal people but others who are expwreinced at doing harm look at you as just another opertunity for a gun. This mentality thst it dosent matter isnt good. Your assuming no one has noticed you mean no one has confronted you.
People are still trying to say Glock reliability when using aftermarket mags is wild to me
why? Aftermarket mags for capacity is rather normal to me
@@roadworkahead6368the gun isn't designed to carry more than 10+1. Use OEM mags, and carry an extra OEM mag.
@@heybro6105that isn’t really a logical argument, mags are ancillary to the gun
Nice rundown 👊🏼
People still acting like PSA Micro magazines don’t exist.
They know about them they just think they aren’t as reliable as oem mags. I have one for my 48 and use it as my daily carry. I’ve never had a problem with them but idk even just 1 malfunction when you need it most is 1 to many.
Can’t trust them. Stick to OEM
PSA doesn't have the best reputation in the last 10 years, they're just now coming around. When it comes to my life, I'm going with tried and true 🤷♂
I bought the PSA mags for my 43X, and promptly returned them because of reliability issues.
@@EdwardOrnelas I respect that. These days I’m hearing of more and more issues with the micro.
So, not sure where you shop, but my cost between the 2 is $100 more for the 19 MOS (when they're available) stock than the G43x MOS with 2 PSA Micro mags added in.. The 1st gen PSA micro mags need some tweaking, but nothing a small hand file and 5 mins can't fix.
The micro dagger mags work and you don't have to change the mag release. Same price iirc.
great content. the jump-cuts are making me daffy tho! cheers
agree
I have both the 19 and 43x as far as printing I don’t feel like it prints any different, I wear a lot of “athletic” wear. Only big difference is the weight to me but not much but the 19 for me less recoil out the box
I’m one of these nuts who actually likes the feel of the 43x over the 19…i own both. My 19 is in a biometric safe with pop out door for home defense, and my 43x is my carry gun. Unlike the author, i did not find the 43x snappy or more difficult to shoot than the 19. I just find the 19 a little too chunky for my liking - so it’s all personal preference and what you can shoot well with to put hits on target. Since I had to qualify on the range for my CCH permit, I used my 43x and did just fine with it.
I am South Africa and the 43X just felt better in my hand.If I need more than 11 rounds to get to safety I am in the wrong gun fight.
Hey Man, good video, Thanks!!! How do you think the Shadow System CR 920X would do if added to this review? Really like to hear your thoughts.....
Has the same grip has the mr920 so u might as well just carry that. Isn't gonna make a difference in printing
@@kalanipitmon7817 Thanks!
I use 43x for carry and 19 for the range. Love them both. Especially since I got 15rd Pro Mags for my 43x. Haven’t had any issues thus far and I don’t have to switch my mag release out cause it’s plastic where the release is. Hope this helps!
Can you please do a Glock 48MOS review?
I went with 43x but 48 would be fine too. 19/19x is good if you don't mind the weight. I mind it so 43x for me
Why not go with a 48 so you have the same size Barrel as the 19 but the slim profile like the 43?
That’s exactly why I carry the shield plus with the 4 inch barrel. Glocks are excellent guns personally I just shoot the M&p better.
@wgd19671 I carry the 365 because I'm not a fan of the Glock trigger, but I used to carry the g48
Tbh I think that’s the worst Glock line. Just get a 19 or 26 if you worried about printing
@Lilkevin1209able I'm a fatty fat boy and the 19 printed too much. That's why I went with the 48. It was a good gun I have just come to hate Glock triggers so I had to replace it
@@muffclassic9184you can replace whole trigger assembly on glocks for a fraction of the price! Glockstore.com
Sheld arms is not the only 15 round mags you can get for the 43x/48 PSA is making some for it too PSA micro dagger 15 round magazine Which is a better design I've been using one and I haven't had any malfunctions with it It's got a mix of polymer and metal so you don't need to change your mag Release to a metal one You can keep your factory plastic one in so you can still use the glock 10 round mag and the PSA one if you wanted witch for me is a better option incase it fails you can use the glock magazine with out being stuck with the shield arms one and having to change the mag release.
Thank you for that currently buying my 43x and wanted to find a mag that doesn’t need to be changed with the mag release
I haven't had any issues with mine I currently have 400 rounds through it no problems. With the magazine
Holsters for a g48 with this setup?
Damn that’s a hard decision but out the two i have to choose….G45
19 or 45 but my lcp max is so comfy
Glock 19 gen 5 with holosun 507K and TLR-7A. Went with the lowest red dot possible since i appendix carry everywhere i go
Hands size is the deciding factor. The double stack glocks don’t fit my hand well so I don’t like shooting them. The 43x fits my hand better. And as someone who is used to shooting smaller pistols I just have more of them there the larger ones I didn’t think the 43x was any more snappy then any other gun it’s size but is more comfortable then many others for edc. It’s the thing about firearms what someone else likes or what feels good to them maybe totally opposite for you. Luckily we live in a golden age we’re there is something for everyone. All shapes and sizes and calibers all well made and reliable for every price range also.
Been thinking about getting the comp slide dagger micro.
It's a pretty nice slide! We made a video talking about it in our micro dagger review.
@herringtonarms but then again I love my 320 and might just get a compact slide and a Herrington comp for it. 🤔
I don't live in a free state. I am looking at the Glock 43X or Glock 19X MOS. I used to have a Sig 365 XL, I loved that gun but I could never get a good master grip when pulling out of the holster. I did look at a Sig P365 AIG Legion but I saw allot of videos that complained about rust and $1200 is allot of money for a gun that rust out. I could use your advice.
Any gun can rust if you don't take care of it. None of these options allow you to forget about the constant maintenance that guns require to be reliable and safe.
@@allenklingsporn6993 I agree and I am a Sig fan boy, but you can't ignore videos of people who say they clean and oil there guns and still a rust issue. I have not seen this in the P220s-229s, but the 365 series I have. I think the 365 series is better then the 320s and I can see myself getting one. I used to have the 365XL my issue was not rust or reliability but not being able to achieve a good master grip from the holster, and I gave it up. but if you are going to pay allot of money for a gun it better not rust.
Can I run this G43X with G17 17 round factory glock mag ?
You cannot because the 43x is single stack, not double stack like that the 17.
I’ve come to this realization, carry the biggest small gun (or I guess the smallest big gun) you can, for me the 19 with an undercut is perfect for me. I almost bought into the small thin gun hype but bigger is better tbh
I have shield mags for my 43x. I did not swap for a metal mag release and 1,500 rounds later, it still runs fine.
Truth. Plus Glock 43 & 43x OEM mag release is like 4.00 or cheaper. You can buy two or more if on sale for the price of one shield mag catch. I did it the extended mags for the 43 and with OEM mag catch and it was fine.
New to getting a compensator. I have a fully stock Glock am looking to get a Faxon threaded barrel and HA compensator. I see a lot of failure to feed. With stock internals besides barrel and the comp, to mitigate the failure and keep stock internals would you just turn higher grain ammo? Or is it required to change the recoil spring?
Should be fine to run stock internals. If anything a higher grain should buff it out so you don’t run into malfunctions.
Put a hogue grip on it and it feels fine. I have large hands with, according to my wife, meat sticks.
I do get a rub on my middle strong hand from the trigger guard and it rules out wearing most gloves.
I do run an antimatter thumb rest and shoot it just find.
43x mos for carry. 19 for everything else.
19 for carry and everything else and sometimes a 17😊
I carry the 43x. But I shoot much better with a 19.
I’m thinking about buying a 19 and revamping my edc.
Just a disgrace that Glock doesn't offer OEM extended mags. The 3rd party mags are not reliable enough
If you shoot a 43x or a 48 next to a 19, you will be better with the 19. just how it works. 19 is the smallest you can go if you still want it to shoot and feel like a full size. nobody ever talks about how the 43x and 48 are harder to shoot because they are thinner. not much harder but i mean there is a difference for sure in recoil and grouping for the average shooter. I could shoot with the 43x all day long everyday and still be better with a 19. my opinion.
if you guys wanna send me a 43x barrel and comp for testing purposes id be more than welcome to test it for ya lol
Man truthfully I use to carry the 43x daily when the mos came out I hopped right on board but after all said and done ( with light, optic, shield 15 mags, and some other stuff ). The weight wasn’t to far off from my 19 with a rmr and tlr7A so for the past 9 months I’ve been rocking my 19 daily. In my opinion by the time you are done with all the bells of whistles to make your macro gun shoot the same as a compact you’re pretty much at the same weight of the compact. Me personally I’m just going stick with my 19 I don’t like having a carry rotation even though I have 12+ handguns I like to stick to one gun when it’s edc. Also if your concern is printing 99.99% of the time your average joe is not looking for printing I’ve realized the people who are looking for printing are mostly like a dude who’s just like you.
Psa love you!! Psa loves all gun owners!!!
43x for me all day
I have both. 19 all day.
1000%
I'm just curious. Why, though?
@@dasniper282 43x is better for concealment for sure - it’s a lot thinner and smaller. The 43x is considered a subcompact or “micro9.” Glock 19 is a “compact” and has more real estate (can get a better grip) which translates to better accuracy, and the slide is longer. The G19 is the most popular glock model in the world for a reason
@@Hu-ManGod Totally agree I have both as well I am able to shoot my 43x just as good as my G19 I have the SA 15 round mags with the Glock store plus 3 with no hiccups, I find myself carrying the 43x more and shooting it more at the range once you master a good grip the 43x is amazing.
@@dasniper282 my buddy says the same thing about his 43x. Kinda jealous haha
43x/45 for me.
43x for summer, 34 for owb, 19 for winter
I don’t like carrying small guns. I’ve always liked carrying full sized guns that are easy to get a solid grip and to shoot well. I’ve been carrying doe over 10 years and have never complained about discomfort or wanted a small gun.
45, 26, 43x.
I carry Glock 33 and 30sf . IMO the 43x long grip is not for me. I'd buy a HC pro before I'd by a 43x
Update All 43x mos and non mos are now comming with rails
19
I’m 5’6 that should answer your question
For ccw, only need to add night sights. But for home defense, I guess you could go weekend tactical warrior.
I wouldn't discount the reflex sight on EDC. When that adrenaline is pumping, your ability to line up iron sights is drastically reduced. Putting the dot on the bad guy is a much easier game.
How can somebody do a video about a firearm and not know what they are talking about??? Shield arms is the only 15 round aftermarket mag “WRONG “
Glock 19 for me.
Shield mags are ass... they jam up on me every time.
Tiny hands the 43 is perfect for me grip wise
43x for the skinny guy 19 for the bigger guys
My 43x non mos has a rail
The only answer is just to have both 😁
The small 2x4 and large 2x4 had me laughing my ass off
A 2x4 is a 2x4 you meant the 43x feels like a 2x2 and the 19 a 2x4 😂
G26/23/21 only 3 you’ll ever need
26 is great but it would be better to have a system and get a 19 and a 17 or 45 to use the same holsters and ammo
@@boomee78 nope that’s why you have the G23 keep the G26 can EDC both don’t need the 19 master the G26 👑and if needed for WROL can swap PSA 🗡slide/9mags runs same ejector, and you only full size for .45/10mm the G21 easier swap for 10mm and just get tossed a 15 mid fight last mag 19x
🧟♂️🥷🚘🔫😒🤭
I’m 5’11 160 lbs and g19 is not to big it’s just right
43X all the way
is that comp CA compliant? CA cant have cool shit anymore -.-
nope. you need a threaded barrel to screw it on and threaded barrels are illegal in cali 😒
@@CutTheKam boooo stupid CA laws
Why not compare the 43x against the new 19x which was made to a lot of your counterpoints to it. Love you guys none the less!!!
Funny how all of a sudden 10 rounds in a carry gun just isn't enough for anyone anymore.
True…
Lots of experts on the internet…
Lots of crazy fuckin people running around too.. lmfao.
Answer is neither, 48x is the best of both worlds. Few mods makes it the perfect CCW.
Glock 43x has the worst trigger that I have had the misfortune of pulling. I won't be buying one of them.
Its a 9mm… who complains about recoil on a 9mm? The variety of gun accessories available to the public had turn people into weak wrists mofos.
I rarely see anyone training with stock guns anymore
Both options are wrong. Carry a Glock 48 it’s the best of both worlds.
You would not be my first choice when taking advice on gun ownership.
I have both but Glock 19 5th gen is my choice! I don’t put anything on the gun, no lights and no red dot. Plain Jane, that’s it! Y’all need to stop modding your guns, Jesus!
Yes! 🙌🏽
A red dot is superior to iron sights
@@RedGoat2035 That’s an impossible comparison to make being that every person is different in the way they shoot, everyone has different eye sight and vision and everyone has different preferences. What you said is merely a preference.
It’s my property! I do what i want!
The future is now grandpa. Get with the times modern technology makes pistols so much better.
Would nvr trust my life with aftermarket mags
Neither
We gotta stop.with these micro 9s it's getting sick. Why do people care about printing
I would never carry that sissy 43x I hate slim guns and I'm not built like a 17 year old names Amanda I'll keep carrying my G45 with the radiant afterburner comp and barrel with a holosun eps and streamlight tlr1-hl
Neither
