I always look for craftsmen commenting in this videos. It seems that that all the reviewers sit in front of a table all day long. Do you carry it with a similar setup?
Sorry but I disagree and I’m not an old man yet at the age of 53… I prefer the Kore or my favorite Nexbelt with the ratchet system which doesn’t even allow the HC belt in the same category hands down and twice on Sunday 😊

Just put the katana V3 on my 43x. Instantly improved my grip on the gun. I don’t have the biggest hands either and I definitely noticed a difference. I highly recommend you get one if running a 43x.
I cook at a diner and have carried the 43x with T1 Axis Slim and the Kore Essentials belt since the craziness happened in 2020. Everything from meats, cheeses, toppings, hash browns, fried foods... I mean everything is in refrigerated drawers below the line, so I spend 7 hour shifts, constantly bending to get stuff. It's easy to forget that you're carrying: It's that comfortable and no one has ever mentioned it. It's like socks and underwear... It's part of my wardrobe.
I use the 15 round Shield Mags as well, but i did install the metal mag release. I use a magwell also and it does aid in better reloads. Great video as usual. Cheers!!
I’ve been carrying 43x for over 2 years now and it’s a solid gun. I started with the shield arms mags for edc until the gun was dropped in a little bit of mud and had non stop issues. I’ve had no issues with the stock mags and for that reason I will stick to the Glock mags for edc
My local golds gym had a shooting, in a luxury shopping center with luxury apartments, in the wealthiest town in my area where every IT company has offices along with headquarters for nation defense contractors like Raytheon ext… murders are counted on one hand in a year and the average household income is 170k, average home price 700k. Doesn’t matter where you are, sh*t happens.
@@tupops I think I get what you’re saying. But that can be said for a lot of things… Just because there’s a large percentage of car crashes in your area doesn’t mean you have to walk everywhere. Or just because there’s a large percentage of people dying while choking doesn’t mean you blend your cheeseburgers. And you have your right to be as cautious and prepared as you want. But if you have to appendix carry while squatting 405 lbs because you’re worried about someone coming, I think you should just take a deep breath and put it in your gym bag or something.
You could say that about anything, if you have to carry going for a walk around your neighborhood you shouldn’t have to move, it’s just being prepared for the worst.
I had the 43x and sold it and was planning on getting the MOS version with a shield smsc red dot. Got the shield plus instead! I feel the 43x is a bit more comfortable than the plus! I feel 11 rounds is plenty of ammo! I’m all about total weight! If I needed more I’d get a full size. This or the hellcat pro are probably my next purchase. Check out the Tulster Profile holsters. My favorite that work for me
check the shield arms CARRY magwell, you will absolutely love it, also I added the Hoque grip sleeve which absolutely changes the feeling of gun in your hand drastically, especially when you have glove size L or bigger. The grip sleeves is so tight and perfect fitted, it absolutely didn't move after plenty of shooting, thanks for the video
A good leather belt can work, but most people will find a carry centric belt like the one from EDC Belt co, Tenicor, Hunter Constantine/T1C will offer the best experience.
I just purchased the 43x today. I haven't yet bought a holster or a belt. I was planning on buying the leather version of that belt you showed. But as far as that holster you demonstrated with, I don't know how that will work for me. I'm a heavy set guy with a big belly. I do typically wear large loose t-shirts and Jean style pants and shorts. What are your thoughts?
If you are looking for a solid leather belt check out Mack belts. Comfortable for me and traditional, just don’t use ddc clips bc they can shred any material, leather especially(I don’t prefer ddc anyways, non-issue for me). I also enjoy the hunter Constantine belt too. Those are my go to belts
No that’s not why 😂. Having 15 in the 43X will never change the fact that it won’t shoot like a compact or full size handgun will. Also the 43X will never take the double stack 9mm mags. So you are totally off but that’s okay.

@@Mozetty Didn't know that but Glock's decision not to make 15 rounders has nothing to do with the G19. Glock could eliminate the G19 lineup and use the 43X instead, and just increase the price of the 43X. The reason there aren't OEM 15 rounders is because all Glock mags have a polymer "case". The shield mags can hold 15 because they're nothing but steel. Glock would have to completely deviate from their mag standards and design their own. And no, it's not as easy as just removing the polymer
just get a 48 mos same frame as the 43x and slide is just a bit longer on the 48. Also if you have a 43x slide you can put it on the 48 frames basically two for 1
You changed the barrel and added a compensator but refused to change the mag release, because you were testing and evaluating? In what world does that make sense?
do you have any concern about the gap in the holster near the trigger? i find that having the 43x with a light makes all the holsters seem kinda sketchy near the trigger. i think its cuz the lights are usually wider than the weapon so the holster has to be wide near the trigger to fit. im worried about drawstrings or something finding their way in there

Revolvers- even 22lr 8 shot or n frame snubby 357/38+p smith and Wesson 327pc are just awesome. No jams, not accidental misfire in your pocket or appendix. Avoid the clubs and dodgy gas stations and never get road rage. You’ll be good. Wheelgun it!
Some prefer to be ready in all situations. If it works for them than that’s all that matters. Especially when it comes to self defense. Some feel that a pocket knife is all they need and question every day carriers. So it’s all personal preference. Personally I don’t understand carrying a revolver. But i’m still happy to know you are ready to protect yourself

When Glock released this with 10 round mags instead of switching to steel so they could fit 15 rounds like the Shield Arms mags, it cemented my opinion that Glock does not give a single fuck about their customers.
@@nathanthornton102 Reliability is a requirement for any handgun. You can get the same level of reliability out of Hellcats and P365s if you complain about them and send them back to Sig. You and I both know you shouldnt have to do that, but when glocks are so far behind in terms of capacity and modularity saying "Oh theyre reliable" doesnt matter in my opinion. You still cant get 17rds with the same slide to grio height. Ontop of that they dont care about their customers.
That holster is ridiculously large. It’s like a boat anchor wedged in one’s pants. A better option is the Vedder light tuck IWB holster and the spare mag in the pants pocket.
That’s a bulky set-up, keep it simple just bring the gun alone with 15 rounds on it, much handy, years back people only carry a revolver with 6 rounds with no extra ammo, you won’t need more than 15 rounds in a lifetime unless you purposely go to a Ghetto place or a Gangsta area.Holster companies let you believe you need a spare mag.

Keep it stock it's made for concealment. Really, you are going to put a red dot on a small gun when most firefights are within 7 yards? If you can't hit a target with 10 + 1 than it's not going to make a world of difference with 15 rounds. Also, there are states that only allow 10 rounds in the mag. The pistol is accurate and reliable the only tangibles I look for in a pistol.

I think the PSA mags are better, they work with the factory mag catch and always worked with no issues.

My G19M is my duty/ range, nightstand and car gun and my 43x is my conceal got an awesome sidecar holster from Carey concealment.
Probably one of the best to carry. Coming from an X Macro. I can literally exercise with this gun.

I don't use arrowhead tactical belt I got the shorts and sweatpants I use my own EDC belt. Something I'm use too and the belt they provide is shitty

I have an idea, instead of carrying a Sig p365 or a Hellcat pro with 17rds, lets carry a G43X thats thicker, that has 10rds in it cause its lighter. Wait, what is this? They make 3rd party mags? Wow how does a 3rd party mag go from 10rd to 17rd? Oh.... it doesnt.

The 43x has a thinner slide and the frames are about the same in thickness 1.1 as well as weight I have both by the way.
For added weight, would you consider adding a tungsten guide rod?
