@@ProjectFarm yes please do carpet stain removers!
I absolutely would watch a show down on carpet cleaners and stain removers. I would also watch a round two on stain removers if you found more brands. Thanks for the hard work!!!
Absolutely on the carpet stain treatments!
@ProjectFarm
Should have finished the video with ...
... and please, keep washing.
Please do a video on printer ink. Rip trees
I'm a mechanic and these vids help me choose the best product for the price. Thank you Project Farm and Cousin Eddy for the unbias work you do to help save ppl money
Our pleasure!
that's what we're here for!
Dang it. I've been a Zout man for years. Looks like I'm switching up. Thanks ,Todd, for always helping my life get a little better every video.
Thank you for sharing!
My wife has long suffered my clothes getting stained from all the vehicle maintenance I do in the garage. Shared this with her instantly, and she's now sworn off dreft forever. I think you've just earned yourself another subscriber, she's just sent me back your drill bit test! I didn't have the heart to tell her I saw it 10 minutes after it came out 😅
Thanks for sharing.
Todds voice: Very Impressive! ;)
I have tried about 50 different stain removes. I'm so glad you did this!
Thank you very much!
Unfortunately he didn't include "lift off ", They have one formula designed to remove oil wax and grease and another 1 designed to remove magic marker and ballpoint pen ink. Good stuff and not particularly expensive. Actually my go to for most cleaning and laundry stains is oxyclean crystals dissolved in warm water with a little bit of soap added.
Honestly, it's pretty incredible we have a channel like this available. Non biased empirical testing just cuts out all of the marketing, hearsay and anecdotal misinformation.
It’s wild seeing these cheap brands blow the expensive brands out of the water. I love it lol
Great point!
It can not be Sunday without a Project Farm video.
Thank you very much!
Sundays existed before Todd was born.
Canadian guitar repairer Ted Woodford invariably releases a video every Sunday afternoon.
Time for church!
@@ReadtheBible88 No, they didn't. I read in a book they did not exist before Todd was born.
Please woodworking finishes next. There are new technology out there like UV-activated finishes which cures instant, epoxy, lacquer, ceramic finishes and all the other traditional.
Thank you for the video idea!
@@ProjectFarm Add alcohol resistance as a test. I've had cologne bottles ruin shelves in my armoire.
Honestly, this video brightened my mood!
Shut up bot
What perfect timing, I've been needing a new stain remover!
dr bronners pepermint soap is my first go to, i showed to to the guy who cleans carpets and he could not believe the results
Thank you. I know you're not supposed to mix chemicals but the two I use, Shout and Oxiclean, work even better together. I spray them both on tough stains like bacon grease.
Useful for everyone. Thanks for a proper control, color fade, and testing a home brew.
Our pleasure!
PERFECT timing, we just ran out of shout and now we have something solid to base the next purchase on. Project Farm for the win as always!
Thanks! Glad to hear!
The music slaps, good pick!
Good morning everyone!!!???
Good morning!!
good morning internet user
Good night from europe
Good morning from Canada
Have great day❤
So refreshing to have non bias reviews of products. You can't trust anything you see on YT from everyone being sold out to the products. Keep it up PF.
You are the public service master. Your efforts do not go unnoticed sir!
Perfect compliment to your detergent review, as both are frequently used together.
I’ve been using the Pink Stuff for years, including the cleaning paste, never ceased to be amazed by how good it works and how nice it smells!
You're the best! Would love to see some test on socks! Even big brand ones seem to have terrible elastic and get holes in them easily!
Bout the only thing to do to make them last a little longer is to dry using less heat or no heat.
Businesses should take notice of your channel. If their product performs well, that's the easiest product promotion i could possibly imagine lol! Though, I'm still very happy you don't have any sponsorships; keeps your results unbiased and accurate.
Thanks!
Pure goodness, as always. Have not seen the best hand-gripper yet.
I was just thinking about stain removers!
Perfect timing!
I like how OxiClean lumps grass and blood together as one stain type.
It’s for football players 😉
I started using the oxi clean spray about a month ago. As a locksmith I usually get the hydraulic oil from door closers on my work shirts. I’ve been very impressed by it and you confirmed my experience. Thank you for the video.
You are welcome! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for including Zout in the review! I'm surprised it didn't do better. But am glad to see other alternatives I should look into.
Our pleasure!
Need to try LA’s totally awesome from dollar general. It works on grease and oil grime like nothing else. Only thing that gets white race suit clean.
Thank you for sharing!
your test tell me why everyone add oxi clean into their product because it feel like it was the best to clean the graphite. i also love how you made big stains and let them dry, cuz we all know we dont let the stain dry and we try to clean it the faster possible to have best result. i love how great you test lot of things. keep up the amazing work xoxo
Thanks, will do!
Alright Todd. My toilet clogged last night so it’s time for the Project Farm toilet bowl throw down. Let’s test eating capacity, time to refill, noise on flush/refill, possibly mechanism durability. From $89 Home Depot special to the Rolls-Royce Toto. You and Cousin Eddie can explore where no one has effectively tested before!
Thank you for the video idea!
Years ago folks around here swore using Coke a Cola was the best thing to use for a clogged toilet. No joke!
For plungers the Beehive MAX has saved me from some troublesome situations 😅
I watch your videos before making purchases now. I have been for a while. Thank you for all the videos, they help save us money.
Most informative channel on YT!!!!
Thank you!
I've used shout but didn't know it was that good , my cat will be pleased, he watches when I clean up after him , grumbling , ny
I am a Tide fan. Over the years I noticed it's very effective on small stains. Also Tide managed to remove stains I thought it wouldn't remove.
Thanks for the feedback.
Glad to see that Shout is one of the better stain removers, since I've used it for years. Thanks for the informative, unbiased review as always, Todd!
Great choice!
I feel so heard and seen! Thanks for posting this following the laundry detergent test, which was my entree to your channel. 😁
You are so welcome!
You are absolutely the best Reviewer on UA-cam 👑🤝👏👏👏
Thanks for all these reviews.
My pleasure!
I'm so impressed with your testing that I just ordered a 2 pack of the pink stuff. Thanks again PF for another great video.
That can of oil was probably a collectors item, you don’t see those anymore.
Great review, thanks again
This channel keeps on giving! Every video is a gem.
Thank you!
Another excellent test of products, thank you. As a single guy the last many years, who won’t wear anything with even a small stain, I’ve found GoJo cream hand cleaner quite effective on oil based stains. Smear and wait 5-10 min. then wash separately in hottest water safe for the item before washing with other items. Straight Dawn applied with a little water is my other method of success, but I don’t have Cousin Eddy around making coffee, and I avoid getting anywhere near differental oil same as I do skunks.
Tide and shout has been in my hold for years. I think it is the best for the money. Thanks for the results. Love watching your channel as always. Stay Safe my friend.
Thanks and you are welcome! Thanks for sharing.
Wow I didn't expect this outcome
Fantastic! This is extremely useful! Who knew that the cheap one would work so well! 🤷🏽♂
Awesome vid! My girlfriend introduced me to "the pink stuff" a while ago. It's awesome for removing used motor oil.
HAPPY SUNDAY PROJECT FARM HAVE A GREAT DAY 🎊
Thank you!
I use Shout to clean my motocross bike. It beats the expensive specialized MC products to pieces. Most of the time I do not need to scrub the bike. I will now have to look for some Purple Stuff to try. The cheaper the better for me.
Right on time as always, had a nosebleed and trashed one of my nice polos. We're gonna test it!
Oxy works best on blood, but regular peroxide works even better. Just don’t leave on colored fabric for too long.
Helpful hint given to me by a dentist. Pour peroxide on the blood stain immediately ( before blood dries) then wash as usual.
As always, thanks for removing the guess work.
Used to work in a diesel shop. It seams like Zep floor cleaner was the popular choice for greasers.
Thank you for sharing!
To think the 2 products I personally use would place in the top3 is really comforting to know
Thank you for sharing!
This was a fun one... thanks. I personally love Shout, and use Oxi (esp if it's blood). If you decide to revisit this, I think blood, ball point pen, and gel pen ink stains might be interesting since those are also very common stains. One product you missed was just plain bleach as a stain remover. I found that to be a very good stain remover, or to lighten stains. Maybe for a future round 2.
Fantastic and highly relevant video for so many of us! I've been using the OxiClean Gel Stick for a few years to great results, but it's wild seeing how much better so many of these other products outperformed it; definitely need to update my shopping list after this!
As a drycleaners with 20+ years experience i have to say oxiclean is the best ive used at getting stains out. I reccomend it to my customers who have stain and want to getting it out be letting us try to save money. We use a different comercial chemical for cleaning but oxiclean is the best
Thank you for sharing!
As recommended by my dry cleaner, the best for removing oil & grease-based stains is plain regular Dawn dish detergent. It is what they used to clean the beaches and all the wildlife after the Exxon-Valdese oil tanker disaster in Alaska, and that was heavy crude oil. Simply pour on stain, leave for approx. 24 hrs. (or longer), wash in tap-temperature water.....hot water should not be used, as it sets stains.
Dawn and a combination of H2O2, vinegar or baking soda is my go-to for most cleaning chores. Of course, not letting stains sit or dry and adding a little elbow grease are musts.
Thanks for the feedback.
Gotta love Project Farm.
Thank you!
My mother had the best I've ever seen...equal parts dove dish detergent, clorox 2 spray, toothbrush scrubbing, then hot water soak for 8-10 hours, wash! Gets absolutely any stain out on any color or fabric! I add bon ami (bartenders friend) scrubbing powder to mix...perfect stain extractor combo!
Thank you for sharing!
That was interesting. My home brew is simply Borax powder with warm water. By soaking in warm water overnight, I've successfully eliminated wine stains from white linen, with two applications, and kitchen grease from black cotton.
Thanks for sharing.
Glad to see a video I suggested made it! Thanks for showing the Dawn XP too!
Another great showdown! I'm very interested in seeing a showdown with electric floor washers
Just astonishingly good! Always a pleasure to watch your videos!
Always an outstanding video and presentation.
I am very impressed with your dedication and choice of topics. Although I am not interested in some things at all, the way you present the topic and test products is unique and very interesting.
Thanks Todd, very impressive test regimen.
Gotta try folex for stains. It's a carpet stain remover but I use it to get stains out of the kids clothes. It's wonderful!
I love that some brands advertise their product works well for removing blood..... they should make a commercial about a serial killer going by all kinds of different shops to ask for a good blood stain remover, im sure that would work pretty well, people love a bit of dark humour!
That's not the kind of blood they are talking about.
@@LatitudeSky is there other types of blood?
Cup of coffee and Project Farm and Taryl Fixes all make Sunday mornings pretty good!
Thank you!
I wish you'd mix the top three in equal parts and see how it performs. Great video.
My wife was bringing over a ham to the table when ham grease splashed all over her silk shirt. She tried everything to get it out and I suggested trying my Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber that I use to clean my guns, and it worked like real magic. The stain was completely gone.
I think the key to the Oxi gel is to let it sit as long as possible. I have a white jacket that had a rust stain from 2007 (I was deployed and it sat for a year). EVERYTHING I tried didn’t work. I put the Oxi gel on both sides and washed it a week later. It’s not completely gone.
Awesome video! Looks like I've been buying the wrong stain remover too! Hanging to the pink stuff for my next bottle!
Thank you for the testing and review!
Excellent video! Thank you for putting these brands to the test. I would love to see a video on dishwasher detergents, especially these no need to rinse before loading claims
Thanks for the awesome videos! Helps me be an informed consumer and keep brands liable 👍
My pleasure!
"looks at prices, needs stain remover"
It's part of their plan
Thank you
The creme style hand cleaner...like gojo etc. Hands down will remove stains even if its been washed and dried once. Just apply to stain and leave over night
This guy dont miss!
We use straight Dawn, that works really well for us. just spray, scrub, let it sit for a few minutes. definitely works better than Shout. Something I've tested a lot haha.
Wish we had a control test with just the tide pod to see how much impact the stain removers have vs just a normal wash
Edit: well I commented too early! Props to all the testing you did!
Great video. We always use oxi clean. Glad it's not lower on the list.
What a great idea for a test! Another great topic, covered.
Another great video! For a second round of this video it would be cool to test the Fels-Naptha soap bar and just using a laundry detergent pre-soak. To avoid spending extra money, I usually just wet the stained item and rub in some detergent and let it sit for 10 minutes before running it through the wash.
Another video I would like to see is dish washer detergent packs/powder. Having been in many a rental with an old dishwasher, I typically buy the premium dish washer soap pods and they seem to help the washer do a much better job. It would be nice to find out if that really is the best option or if I have been wasting money.
From personal experience that oxi clean spray is amazing stuff. For really hard stains I’ll scrub it in with a brush and let it sit for a while. Sometimes I’ll spray it a little more before I throw it in the wash.
Thanks for the feedback.
Skipped to the end for this one just to find out. Thanks.
You are welcome!
I showed this channel to some of my friends who speak Spanish. They were very interested. I think if there was a Spanish version of these tool tests it would get a lot of subscribers. 😀
They can try turning on closed captions and then choose auto translate. It may translate it to Spanish for them.
Tried it, but only giving option of English auto generated. With the speed that he talks would be a bit of a pain to read for some. Dubbing would be great. Just a thought, especially since there are lots of Hispanic workers in USA who use tools all the time and would love these reviews
Pipe wrenches. Ridgid, Irwin, Milwaukee, store brands, etc. torque, holding size while getting a new purchase, large nut performance, damage from teeth, etc.
Just what I needed. Thanks Todd!
This is very useful. Thanks. How about a video on all in one homeowner’s tool kit…the kind that contains the essentials all in one kit, like hammer, screwdrivers, levels, nails & screws, etc.
Thanks! Thanks for the video idea.
Video idea - best spray on carpet cleaner. We use a lot of it for stains from pets, dirt, and spilled food/drink
I guessed oxyclean would win and I still think it’s the best because it beat them all in both oil categories. It’s the #1 stain I get and very seldom get the others if ever. Dirt, oil and stains around the collar are by far the most stains I get. I sure would’ve liked to see Tough Stuff tested. It’s probably cheaper than all these. Dollar General sells it. It cleaned my leather seats when nothing else I tried would. A hand car wash detailer and owner told me to try it.
Thank you for doing the Lords work Todd! (Father of 4 young children here)
Dollar sign, pound, exclamation point, and ampersand happens. Lol thats great
What do I like about your videos? "Made in USA." Great job! Thanks.
Glad you like them!
Your reviews are awesome!
My grandma used to add a small cup of baking soda to the was. Dont know why , but i do it too.
Thank you for sharing!
Just about all old timers used vinegar as laundry & hair rinse.
@@sunshine3914 yes vinegar is still my go to for all kinds of things from bug bites and other skin rashes to stomach problems. I have no hair left that I can not comment on 😂
I need a new battery powered framing nailer and need to know which is the best bang for my buck. Do your thing, Project Farm!
Thank you for the video idea!
Amazing work , love your channel
Thank you!
Another great video Todd definitely applicable for every day life. I wouldn’t mind seeing a video comparing fabric dewrinkling sprays.
Thank you for the video idea!
Be interesting to see you do a portable propane fire pits. Was at overland expo not to long ago and saw a $1200 howl fire pit. Great job on the reviews 👍 and can’t wait for the next episode
