30 Minute Intermediate Vinyasa Flow

- This is a 30 minute intermediate vinyasa flow class touching on all the major muscle groups in your body in a short space of time. Class includes a standing flow, lunges, shoulder openers and an optional arm balance (Kakasana) and inversion (headstand or legs up) followed by a brief pranayama (Nadi Shodana - alternative nostril breathing). Great for established practitioners when you'd just like to flow and you're short on time. Enjoy!

Great x thanks Georgie 🙏 headstand strengthening is core and basically practicing it... I find bending my knees easier to hold for longer or up against a wall.

Trip away was amazing....saw whalezzzzz 🐋🐋 whilst snorkelling (caught them on the go pro) & a great white shark 🦈 came to visit (caught on film by another) 😳 Also a plethora of turtles & pretty reef fish 🐟🐬🐠. Went with a photographer friend who captured a great pic of me on beach for sunrise doing yoga too 🙌

Oh that’s fantastic Michael 🙏 good job! Yes, new location.... home! We’re in lockdown in mount martha, unable to visit the studio as it is located at the back of my friends house. No visiting permitted in our lockdown. We’re only allowed out for an hour of exercise and essentials til mid September :-( I’ve forgotten what it’s like to teach group classes in person! Haven’t done it since March! I’d say, I’m very lucky my business is flexible 🧘♀️

We finally have a mandatory mask order that's been in effect a couple of weeks now that appears to be helping here some, but the numbers overall in the US are staggering. Daily yoga continues to be a refuge for me.

My husband and I select one of your videos each Sunday. It's our version of going to church to feel grounded again. Thank you for your online yoga! We've been doing so much yoga during this pandemic that I now have the dreaded yoga butt! 🤦 Do you have any suggestions or videos to focus on other body parts while my tendon heals?

(Avoid pigeon, triangle and pyramid) bend your knees deeply in your forward foldsI I have actually been doing pilates lately for my back. Found a great channel with express 15-20 min practices that have targeted glute work... its been transformative. Yes, Nicole’s are not easy. So many reps but doable. I’ve been including some of her moves in my classes :-) I have never been a pilates fan... too much counting down! But I’ve found that I’m enjoying the different movement sequences and so functional for injury :-)

Oh, please know that this is totally optional and only if you’re familiar with this posture x . I have a gentler variation (legs up) and the class overall is accessible if you’ve practiced some yoga and have a reasonable level of fitness.

bodies are all individual, but to me this is a wonderfully rounded class, stretching and activating the bodyparts in need, just about the right amount and in the right order for mornings haha 😄
Some weeks ago i realised that i am ready to create my own morning routine, individually 'customised' for myself. Which feels amazing! But this class sums up almost EXACTLY the alltime go-to essentials of my short version morning routine 😅😀
Sunflower hang in there x I try and make my classes accessible... some are a little bit challenging and most really doable. And I encourage everyone to do what you can. Rest if you need to do less and enjoy the movement in your bodies own range of motion 🙏
