This song came out right when I was going through a divorce and I had to leave my 2 little boys when I moved out. Even though I just moved down the road a couple of miles it felt like it was a million when I couldn't see them every day. I missed them so much. I missed their voices and the smell of their hair and playing with them. Everything is fine now but everytime I hear this song I can't help but be transported back to that time when they were little. Tears are streaming down my face.

For me all these bands labelled nu metal was an extension of grunge. I think alternative rock and metal is the best term but people like to dissect genres to very fine slices
