I didn’t discover TX2 on TikTok (because I don’t have TikTok) I heard of him through my friend when he was still releasing songs like DROP DEAD and TRUST NO ONE so I wasn’t aware until recently about his large controversy of him being a poser and stuff but the thing is that he’s been in the scene for a long time since 5th grade and he even said it himself on one of his lives where he said posers don’t exist the only way to be a true poser is if ur lying about something also no one ever talks about the fact that he’s building a whole community on Discord called the X movement trying to let people vent and be able to speak about their experiences because he wishes that he had that when he was younger and his dream is to make a hotline and have festivals someday
For me, Spellbound by Siouxsie and the Banshees its a perfect song and its one of my favorites of all time, but I would really like that it was way longer that it is. So I can't imagine a world with people begging for shorter songs. And I think that "Welcome to the black parade" would be perfect if it was way longer

this is the weirdest group of albums to talk about, danger days had some absolute bangers on it as well. Its one of the weakest MCR albums, but there are so many worse albums in the genre. Its barely emo and more of a pop punk/rock album.

@NotRobot574 Thank you! For me it's very confusing why people fight about it, like when they say that P!ATD its emo or not, or something like this. So if emo don't have a clear definition or even dont have one, that really makes more sense. But the same way that Eldritch from Sisters of Mercy claims that the band it's not goth, Sister of Mercy is a goth masterpiece even if Eldritch don't want. So even if MCR it's not emo, the band helped a new culture and bands to grow up as emo. So in my perception, MCR is emo. Anyway, I'm glad for the answer. God bless you all! They did embrace the fun danger days concept is a comic book concept album gerard has always been a big comic book fan and even wrote a comic sequel to the album As well as he wrote the umbrella academy and created a spider verse character
Why long songs are considered a bad thing? Wtf!??! And I consider that Danger Days by My Chemical Romance have a bunch short time songs, even the first song have 3 min or something. The Black Parade has songs with longest time and here we are. God bless you all

As a jake and Johnnie fan jake smokes regularly so he did not just do it for the music video
