Kid A is an absolute musical breakthrough, although I do not dispute that In Rainbows are also incredible. Radiohead are amazing, I just love their entire discography. (sorry I don't speak English, I use translator)

Jaco Pastorius’s Word of Mouth should have made the list. It’s the greatest album I have ever heard by a landslide. The Basslines are incredible and Jaco played almost all the instruments on it too. It also has such a unique blend of Caribbean, Japanese, and Fusion styles of music.

I absolutely adore Radiohead, but RYM having three of their albums in the top 10 is pretty biased.
If you think that's biased you haven't seen besteveralbums top 10
Why not? Their albums have been hailed as some of the greatest of all time, and for good reason. They are one of the most influential bands of the past few decades.
@@thepillowcomfortable1880 They're overrated by people who claim to be cutting edge, but I can see you're a fan.
@@lucashernandez4345they are overrated, And i don’t claim to be “cutting-edge”
@@thepillowcomfortable1880 i'm a massive radiohead fan but no matter how big of a fan i am of any artist, i would never put three of their albums in my top 10 of all time
How is purple rain not on this list
Because its a soundtrack
@@aerithnull5081RYM logic be like
Because this list was put together by a bunch of dick sucking Fantano fans
soundtracks are sadly deweighted on RYM but Purple Rain would be on this list if it wasn’t
Not a fan of this list tbh
I wish to shake the hand of the person who compiled this list, SWANS & Slint, you are a legend and somehow entered my record collection as I have half of these..
You'd have to shake like a hundred thousand hands 😂
I personally think the best Radiohead album is In Rainbows. For the top 3, (Kid A, In Rainbows, OK Computer) I find In Rainbows to be the most enjoyable and listenable.
RYM hot take 101
Probably most people would agree it'stheir most enjoyale and listeable album, and how consistent and incredible the songwriting it, In Raibows has every right to be in the top 10.
Kid A is their best tho. prob my fave album oat
Kid A is an absolute musical breakthrough, although I do not dispute that In Rainbows are also incredible. Radiohead are amazing, I just love their entire discography.
(sorry I don't speak English, I use translator)
OK COMPUTER breaks the paradigms of rock... KID A is a mutation from rock to electro-experimental, but with a mainstream band, something nobody has done before...
No me esperaba que speedin bullet to heaven estaría en el primer puesto 🙀

Radiohead has 3 albums in the top 10, do you think they would put more than 2 women here?

Man theres something so surreal about how TPAB influenced David Bowie and his final album
I love how many of the older albums on this list have been cited as major influences or have been sampled off by the newer albums on this list
Which is my Bowie will always be my fav artist ever! Death Grips influenced him as well, believe or not
theres many albums that should be on here but lets be honest, we only got a hundred to choose from.
is there a playlist with these albums? im obsessed
wasn’t expecting Die Lit (2018) to take all the spots, but ehh valid I guess
😂
pink floyd's "wish you were here" is my most favorite non-electronic music album.
I did, thank you for telling me.
are you a big fan of Kid A then?
The guy above me deleted their comment saying "who asked," making me look like a fool. A fool! But do I look like a fool to you?
Did he really just say “most favorite”?
TPAB the goat
Isn’t it funny that just a month before this video came around, there was the top 100 Worst music releases. What a Contrast between the two videos. Also, it’s funny how both of these lists feature an album by The Beach Boys.
it’s like Snoop Dogg being featured on TPAB (considered the best of the 2010s) and Angelic 2 The Core (considered the worst of the 2010s)
@@wadejg_blaze0n213the duality of man

OMG I didn't expect to see "Souvlaki" by Slowdive on the list, amazing 4:40
1:20 CAN's future days is an absolute masterpiece,Tago Mago is also another banger of an album
Krautrock is so fire
Very good list. my personal opinion: with its own technique and sound, and appreciated by the community dire straits should be on this list
Brothers in Arms deserves to be on this list for sure, but people on this website have little appreciation for 70’s rock.
@@ash_11117 I don't know, maybe I'm not looking at it objectively because I listen to dire straits too much, but for me communiuque is in god's realm. I haven't seen many fans except me.
The self-titled album is listened to a lot by people. Brother in arms is also very good but one of them could be here.
@@ismailgunay6551These people are far from objective, dw about it, it defo deserves a spot
Very good list???? Put kendry Lamar #1 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
BEFORE WATCHING THIS VIDEO OR COMMENTING; KNOW THIS
this is ONLY a top 100 list and putting whatever album you think should be in on the list ALSO means pushing out other insanely good albums, not everything can fit in a top 100, the common albums people are wondering why they arent in this list are mostly hovering near the top 100, which is impressive considering that there are likely over 35,000 albums that have enough ratings to be in the contending spots for the top 100
Glad to see Aphex Twin on here
6:45 of all the incredible moments from this album they pick this?
lmao right

Well that's a pretty good representation of what most of the album is like.
the transition at 6:27 changed my perspective on life
Seeing Death on the list makes me so happy

for me , you forget : london calling (clash ), scum ( napalm death ), shadows of the sun ( ulver ) , never mind the bollocks ( sex pistols ) , treasure ( cocteau twins ), aqualung ( jethro tull ), selling england by the pound ( genesis ) , the unforgettable fire ( u2 ), thick as brick ( jethro tull ), elephant ( white stripes ), fresh fruits for rotting vegetables (dead kennedys ) ... these are some that coming in my mind...
public opinion :|
radiohead having 3 albums in top 10 is such a W
A very good list. My ranking would be different, and some of those albums would probably be more in the 100-200 area for me, but who cares? This is here is still better than most music websites lists.
There are only 14 albums on this video that I don't already know and own, and I'm pretty sure a lot of them are great.
The list is horrible. I could make a better one in my sleep.
@@AbbeyRoadkill1 your sleep is horrible
They rated Ride The Lightning over Master of Puppets and it makes me happy
still surprised af black album didn't make the list considering how more played it is than RTL and MoP

Ill be honest i cant help but feel like this list would be entirely different if fantano never existed. Albums like lift your skinny fists probably wouldnt be up here if it werent for him. I think he has plenty of bad takes but hes put me onto some of the best music ive ever heard and i can appreciate him for that
Madvillainy in the top 5 made my day better
I'm kinda sad to not see an MCR album here like TBP but it's good to see King Crimson and Talking Head so high up.
It's a wonderful rock opera with a concept that just touches your heart strings
@@xcaliveristic5352 Well said! it pulls on my heart strings like it's tug of war, especially since I know the story of TBP
Being branded "emo" is somewhat damaging, even though some of the bands labelled as such have produced great stuff
wow lil pump in no. 1 is nuts
undoubtably some of these albums are amazing from start to finish
How did “Blue” by Joni Mitchell not make it at all?
Nr 1 is as accurate as it gets. This album is out of this world and so is Kendrick.
If you see the list, jazz albums (and instrumental ones in general) are harder to crack top spots for the RYM audience. Otherwise, Trane, Davis and Brubeck would have been way way higher imo.
respectfully Grace jeff buckley not being here is criminal
amazing top ten! from a bias standpoint, i would've put tpab low because im not the biggest hip hop/rap fan, but i can appreciate the album and definitely see why people would call it number one. i also wouldve added some oasis somewhere in the top 30 too. but thats all just based off of my personal favourites. i love talking about music and sharing my opinions/hearing others musical opinions :)
Tpab has to be number 1 tbh. The storyline is incredible and it touches on some big problems with America, it’s just completely on another level and I’ve personally never heard anything like it.
@@benonyt2150 It's list of the best albums of all time (the whole world) not top 100 US albums.
