yeah its pretty cool, potato computers like 13" ultrabooks will actually be able to do complicated stuff, and big rigs will be even more insane!
You forgot to mention the other best feature: Only Selected Curve Keyframes is in the Preferences now, meaning you can just set it once in the preferences, and then you're good It will solo the channel just like in Maya, SFM, basically any other 3D animation app.

The new effects that can be made look incredible. I would love to know how to make them for UE5
I have a large VDB Cloud in my current WIP scene: in 3.4 it takes about 4-5 seconds to update on frame change, in 3.6 it takes about 1 second. This makes viewport renders so much faster ! Thank you @BlenderOfficial you guys rock !

finally i think we can compare blender speed with other software lately it was a shame :)
There is still a difference, because other software also make major speed improvements in their updates, and they have a big head start.
@@PandaJerk007the main reason blender closes the gaps is it updates more frequently than others, larger/higher profile paid softwares are much slower with major updates
@@h.d.harris_irl The days Blender beeing a free-time developed software are long gone. The Blender Institute und Blender Development Fund have a combined budget of several million dollars a year! A big team of full time employees are coding for Blender now. Blender is a commercial grade software giving the product away for free.
idk if u editing with premiere or resolve, but you should turn the image stablization to translation, perspective makes everything warp weird
I'm working on an addon that will translate Geometry Nodes into Unreal Dynamic Mesh system... Players could change inputs in real time!
(P.S. WOW is Unreal's Geometry Scripting rudimentary... I'm having to write code for almost all the nodes...)

Glare fog glow still doesn't work. It is VERY blown out in the viewport compositor compared to final render. Unless I'm doing something wrong. Help lol

@@davidrozier1126 Houdini absolutely blows any other software out the water when it comes to simulations. Try telling a high end client you're using anything else for TV/film and they'll drop you for another studio
For now, but Blender's time with simulation is still just a baby. Give it a while and a dedicated team, and Houdini's empire will fall. Just like Maya is facing competition from Blender.

Starting to look like Blender could be used as game engine. Though not sure if that would be possible, but that could be fun. Even if we already have Unity and Unreal.
Blender did actually used to have a game engine built in. Understandably was removed at some point though.

Many add ons which i have bought do not work anymore thanks to the new api.
Give it time, and there will be add-on updates for 3.6. You can't expect add ons to always work right out of the box with a new release.
@@davidrozier1126 how are you so sure 3.6 has a new API now a lot of add ons i bought are not working anymore.
@@antoonsorg I'm not sure if it has a completely new API, but that's the only logical explanation I can think of for your add ons not working when they were working before.
@@davidrozier1126 blender 3.2 is the latest version which works with rigacar also using a couplin for a caravan or trailer did not work for me maybe my mistake. But offset value and placing the origin to the center of the middle axle was not the solution.

The massive amount of nodes you need in Blender to accomplish the same thing as in Tyflow is stupid.
Its pronounced " ah-soos" not " ace-us"?
blender 3.6 cycles is 3.5 times slower than blender 3.4
By the way pronounced the names of the cpu and gpu, I am guessing you are not much of a computer hardware guy. Pretty weird for someone using blender. Have you always had super speed hardware? I have a potato~ish laptop.
3d programs, Blender especially, are good at making features with ridiculously sluggish load times so that they can have multiple updates that say "now loads 400% faster" and even after all that the program is still slow.
AI integration will make blender first choice of 3d software.
