    absolutely phenomenal tutorial. never saw anything like that - after 1.5 sec "shift+A" add a cube :)) just straight to the point. that's it, this is what I love

    Very nice result and easy to follow the steps! It would be nice to understand a little bit about what the settings do so I can learn for future reference but I also appreciate the value in having tutorials that are very quick to follow. Thanks!

    How you figured this out, I will never know. Very very skilled and knowledgable. Thanks for sharing.
    I found when applying it to a plane I need to tweak the values. I also found tweaking the values gives a slightly different result, and a varying aestetic, like adjusting the decimate values...
    THANKS SO MUCH

    For the life of me I can't seem to get a good retopol of this. I've tried to many ways and no matter how you spin it, your topology is shait. Anyone got a decent tip to retoplogize this to a lower value while keeping good topology? Ive tried remesh, decimate and Quad Remesher addon

    Hi, i follow your steps and made it, but i move or do whatever with my own rock it takes a little time, not real time. But i appended yours into my project it is still smooth, can you tell me why

    • @davidbourg8255
      @davidbourg8255 2 роки тому

      Set the coordinate type in both displacement modifiers to local to get it to be smooth. Be warned that the rocks won’t change based on position anymore if you do this.

    This does not work for Versions 3.0 and above. Also, this does NOT create a stylized Rock. All it does is give you a lazy interpretation of what it would look like. Also, this can't be manipulated onto different shapes.

      I will leave the original comment untouched. But I tried the author's link's contents. It's actually very great. You can see the author didn't just copy pasted other people's things. He actually spent a lot of time putting things together and provide you some handy packages. that's nice. But will be better if the author can leave some credits for the original one
