Another superlative video. You continue to outdo yourselves. So beautifully shot and presented. I never realized that Minetta Tavern had closed for a year. Have been going there for decades. I do believe that they serve the best burger in NYC.
Thank you! This one was tougher than usual but I think we learned a lot for next time. Yeah! This version is much newer than we thought too. The burger is incredible, justifies the crazy price tag
Gotta get yourselves out to Red Hook in Brooklyn and Rolo's in Queens. Two legendary burgers, the Rolo's one is harder to get during dinner since I think they only make a limited number. They offer it for brunch on the weekends though
I've heard that their burger was the best in the city, and you just affirmed it. I also liked the idea that they automatically served Bernaise with the steak. A nice touch...my favorite to have with steak. As always, thanks for a great review.
Another great video, guys! I was just there 2 weeks ago, and Keith McNally is a bad ass. That's a great burger to indulge in, and I love their steaks. Another place to check out is Uncle Jack's Steakhouse. There's 2 locations, the UWS, and Bayside. As I grew up in Bayside, I'll often visit that location for one of my guilty pleasure, their Black Truffle Burger. Definitely worth a visit for you guys, and it tends to be under the radar... And, I appreciate that some evenings. Thanks as always, guys!
Thank you! And thanks for the recommendation we'll have to check it out! We'd hate to spoil a local spot but if they're as good as you say than they definitely deserve the business!
Hi guys: no question in my mind that the Minetta Black Label burger is the BEST super premium burger in NYC!. Just add the frites & you have a classic burger lunch! Great video😅❤
It’s too bad there wasn’t more footage from the restaurant but you got the point across. They have the standard choices perfected. Nice to know that this place lives up to the hype. As usual the food was shown as appealing as can be. Good seeing you both again and another dining spot has been added. Enjoy the weekend!
Glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah we struggled capturing footage for this one. We were trying to be as inconspicuous as possible but we’re going to try to capture the restaurant a little better going forward
I can’t believe how expensive NYC Is, I’m from London and the most you would pay for a great burger at Hawksmoor, Smith and Wollensky etc is $25 I’ve adjusted £19 to us.
@@user-or6yn8pm3c Both cities have absurdly cheap food if you know where to look. If you're rich and looking for expensive places to eat, that's not my problem.
Pure burger indulgence. We went a few years back, and the place gets really packed. My son had the burger and I had the steak frites. Both were amazing. 🥩🍔
That Souffle looks irresistible. A shame I really do not like dry-aged beef. I'm still trying to figure out if the other burger (not the black label) uses the same dry-aged beef or not.
Great review. What do you usually use to film - phone, gopro, something else. The microphone seems sensitive cause you don't appear to have been talking loud or wearing mikes.
Thanks! We have a Sony a7 IV and use the DJI Mics for audio. We've gotten better about hiding them but are working on trying to minimize the background noise as much as possible!
Haven’t been here in so long, when it was basically impossible to get into for at least a couple of years. Is it still difficult to get into? The burger was excellent and they had/have an insane cote de boeuf
We've never tried their cote de boeuf but have heard amazing things. We'll have to go back. It can be somewhat difficult to get a reservation during prime hours but it's much easier than it was a few years ago. Nowadays you can pretty much always find something if you are a little flexible on time
We’ve been to all of these but Brindle. Love Au Cheval, Emily’s and the Peter Luger burger but we’re not the biggest JG Melon fans to be honest and we use to live right around the corner haha

1:30 am watching your videos again 🥲 You have shown us a lot of nice and good food, so when are you going to show us some freaky over priced Disney food and giving us your honest thoughts about that? Could that be a suggestion? All the loves.
@@travelfuller Wtf 😅 I dunno just weird foods, Halloween is now at Disney right? Maybe that and some nicer foods.. I have no idea, I'll be watching whatever you put out 🙂
I had the burger there years ago and I remember it being excellent!! Worth the money. Minetta Tavern is a Greenwich Village classic. It’s top notch. I loved Chumley’s and their burger. It was pure decadence!! It was fabulous too. Cheaper options are the burgers at Peter McManus on 7th Avenue and the gay bar Julius in the West Village. All are very good! I’ve been to Peter Luger’s and in my opinion it’s overrated.
We have! It’s a great classic burger and much more reasonably priced but not quite as good as this one. Maybe we’ll go back and make a video on it sometime
Quick question for you Kristin, why do you have your fork in your left hand when you cut the steak, but switch it to your right hand to feed yourself?? Also, this is a general statement, I don't know what it is with reviewers on UA-cam, but why oh why do you talk and chew at the same time, that is basically a massive negative for manners. Almost everyone on YT is guilty of this. Really enjoy your videos though and like your commentary, just giving a few hints on how to make your video a bit more polished.I know that young people these days don't have nearly the manners that their parents do/did, I have seen in at every restaurant that I go to, it doesn't matter whether that is in NYC, Dallas, Las Vegas, San Francisco, LA/Bevery Hills, Miami.etc.. Keep up the great reviews, really enjoyed. your Las Vegas content.
Top notch burger. Had a relaxed late lunch there on a pre-pandemic NYC visit. Marrow bones were a great appetizer too.

Welcome back to NYC. You may want to try Au Cheval's burger as well.
We’ve been! But before we started our channel unfortunately. We’ll have to go back and make a video on it soon
If that’s the same Au Cheval as in Chicago, then yes…it’s an absolute winner.

Thank you! We have been trying to get in for years but now they’re closing for a refurbishment. Hopefully we can get there soon

The food there looked so good and the chocolate souffle looked dangerous but delicious 👍👍

It really is! And the other burger isn’t dry aged! It’s a bit cheaper too. We haven’t tried it but it’s probably amazing. Let us know if you try it!
Ribeye. Excellent choice. ❤❤❤
Taylor swift!!! I need to check this place out 🤩

That burger looks delish! I am a rare person who prefers juicy burgers over smashed burgers. It so rare to find a juicy burger these days. 💔
It was! Both are so different. You could never get this amazing meat forward flavor from a smash burger!
