@@yanansu7313 That's because (a) they know Korea, (b) they care and (c) the quality of their work is their livelihood. The American TV hosts for the most part have big teams who care and their job is simply to deliver it. The interview with George was honestly so fun and entertaining lmfao. Excellent vibes all around with you guys, well done!! (Just how I like my burgers 😂😂)
Mustard on a burger: old school. Many old diners used a yellow mustard mayo mixture as the dressing. It went out of fashion with ketchup mayo in the 1950s. However I suggest everyone making burgers at home give the mustard mayo mix a try on your family or guests. It is mild enough that people can add ketchup if they wish.

All coca cola products are made from coke concentrate made by coco-cola... There are not different recipes.... sugar vs corn syrup and water are the only variables when bottles @ regional distributors. If you had a can of coke in the US, vs can in EU vs can in China, you would know there is no taste difference.. what is different is canned vs plastic bottle vs glass bottle coke... glass bottle coke can withstand higher carbonation level... A perfect example is trying a mexican glass bottle coke and a US glass bottle coke with cornsyrup from coca-world... they taste exactly the same.

F*ck yes!!!! Its one of my fave burgers ever. You nailed it.
A man so devoted to his craft is a thing of beauty. This’s going on the bucket list.
George Motz is incredibly personable and well-spoken. I've watched him quite a bit over the years and he is so relaxed in front of the camera. He has a wealth of knowledge and I could listen to his warm yet commanding voice for hours 🍔
7th St Burger is how McDs started out - good fast burgers (cooked on site) and fries - no seating, eat in your car😁. Glad to see someone is doing this basic fast food. No frills, just good food!❤️😎🐈⬛
Hope it catches on to other areas.
Yes we have so many of these places in London. So good when you are walking back to the hotel
It works in NYC because of critical mass. The sheer volume of people on the street makes it possible. No need for a drive through or parking lot.
@@Americathebeautiful49 There was no drive-thru in the early McDs, that’s a fairly new thing. Even in the suburban areas where space was not limited, there was just a small building and a small parking lot. You went up to a window to place your order and pickup. Then you ate in your car or went home.
Simple and efficient.
❤ 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😁😋 Yes McDonald's😁😋 they were So Delicious back then! My mom would give us $2.00 to buy
2 hamburgers
2 cheeseburgers
2 fries (only sold small)
2 Orange drinks placed our order at the outside window and they gave us change back with a smile! We'd return to the car with our goodies smiling from ear to ear giggling my sister and I enjoying our hot Delicious Burger, and best Limp Fries Ever with the perfectamountof salt (not like now straight and crispy) & Orange drink yay!! TY Mommy!RIH❤ Great memories of McDonald's!
@@cynthiacarr2093 Agree with you except the fries. Can’t stand undercooked fries- don’t remember them being like that, I thought they were slightly crispy. 😁
"I don't really think of burgers as being hot" may be one of the saddest, most British things I have ever heard.
Lol!
What does he even mean though? Who eats cold burgers?
@@morbideddie Brits appearently
@@morbideddie everyone who eats at McDonalds!
@@morbideddieI imagine that he means that he is used to warm burgers.
5:21 To quote the legend himself, “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who had practiced one kick 10,000 times.” - Bruce Lee
But in his case- well, a few burgers and sandwhiches.
I love watching the guys! Fantastic hearing their first time opinions on the things we take for granted!
I'm loving this format you're doing where you cut in to add additional info and jokes!
Great episode. You made George comfortable and he opened up! Thats a skill guys! Very enjoyable!
george is such a fun person, together with ollie they're a comedic duo
I love how George is talking about the OK Onion burger and continually looking to the left like, are you going to take a bit of that? Then finally says screw it , I'm eating mine, not waiting for you.
I stumbled upon y'all 2 days ago and have binging since. I also love you 2 with the high schoolers. Thank you!
It is true Ollie consistently does his research on guests. Quite impressive!
Always! You can tell when he starts talking and asking questions that he has done his research. If you watch their kpop/celeb interviews and he does a far better job then those american tv hosts will ever do.
@@yanansu7313 That's because (a) they know Korea, (b) they care and (c) the quality of their work is their livelihood. The American TV hosts for the most part have big teams who care and their job is simply to deliver it. Because these two know Korea so well, they can get nuance and context into their interviews with K-Drama actors, K-Pop singers/groups, K-Celebs etc that a purely American TV host who isn't invested simply can't hope to do.
Love this series! So happy they are enjoying NYC
This was probably my favorite episode. You were on point and George was fantastic.
Bravo
I just had so much fun watching this video. Humour, wit, honesty. And burgers! Great.
i always admire how Ollie doesn't look at guests just as random addition to that particular episode. He always does research about them, sometimes reads books of his guests, asks relevant questions, jokes are always hints about the guest, etc... He is a true professional!
The interview with George was honestly so fun and entertaining lmfao. Excellent vibes all around with you guys, well done!! (Just how I like my burgers 😂😂)
George is always such a pleasure to watch. His passion is contagious!
I have. Its legit.
6:21... The way Brits say naughty just makes it naughtier 😂😂😂🤣👍❤🤣
Let's appreciate Ollie for doing a research before take a video. The details he knows is incredible. Love it💖
One of the best interviews in a while, would love to see more of George and their love of burgers :D
I’ve been going to the Apple Pan for nearly 50 years. Very cool and a bit surprising to see the New York Burger Baron pay homage to a restaurant in L.A..
I agree but then he didn’t mention the hickory burger or the apple pie. After all it is called The Apple Pan. I may have your fifty beat but then I am old.
@@Americathebeautiful49He's featured those on The Burger Show and Burger Scholar Sessions. and I think he's made the sauce on there too
Ollie is fantastic at the interview! He did his research, is engaging, and is very empathic and enthusiastic !!!🎉❤🎉❤🎉
George was seriously so cool. I could listen to him talk all day. He was so laid back and chill 😎
George seems like SUCH an all around great guy! Thanks for shining a light on the many good bits of humanity. I have to add that this might be my favorite of all of your episodes. You started my day with chuckles that made my wrinkles proud.
Omg I saw a Mr. FABLES sign in George's hamburger shop.....the Fables joint is original to Grand Rapids, Michigan...
They last Fables closed about 5 years ago...so sad....the Fables double cheeseburger was my absolute favorite! They special burger was called the Mr. FABULOUS
I was married to someone from GR and we went to Fables when visiting his parents. I love a Fab burger. I still put green olives on a cheeseburger. The onion rings were great too.
Love Ollie's North Face jacket!!!! It perfectly suits him!!
George Motz is one of my favorite people to watch. This was a Jolly good time. I always enjoy y'alls videos. Ollie is crazy smart when he "interviews" people.
George is an American original for sure. Love his passion for burgers.
What a great video ! such a fun guy and you all had great chemistry together. Loved it !
I really appreciate George’s respect for the history of these dishes.
George Motz is a hamburger guru and i FN love him. Im glad our boys from across the pond got this experience!!!
George is just a simple sandwich salesman yet these guys are so nice to him
George is such an iconic human, I eat up every bit of content I find him in. Dead set Legend.
I love how the fries are next to Ollie when he's allergic to potatoes.😂😂😂
How tf are you allergic to potatoes
@@mfg587
You can be allergic to anything. I'm allergic to tomatoes...
I wasn't always... but now my favorite foods could kill me...😢
Well it's not like an allergy to pollen
@@twildabuckingham But he LOVES potatoes and eats them unless they're taken away
@@mfg587 I found two people have severe allergy reaction to chicken
4:03 I believe, traditionally, that appetites are Whetted, as in ‘made sharp’ and not Wetted, as to mean ‘immersed in water’.
This made me whet.

Omg I love the brits in America series
Genuinely great experience watching all of New York, southern from Southeast United States of America, but I’m halfway real well read and it’s fun seeing y’all enjoy Mexican Coke, which we have all over the place so love you guys
MY GO TO BURGER SPOT!!! SO GLAD GEORGE OPEN ONE UP IN DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN. WHICH IS A FEW BLOCKS FROM MY HOUSE. THANK YOU GEORGE FOR SHOWING US LOVE ❤ IN BROOKLYN!!!!!
George Motz, what a cool guy!
Would love to meet him and try his burgers! Excellent guys!👍👏👏👏❤️
mexican coke is made by sugarcane😂you guys are the best to see a review of food especially with ollie being opposite of josh
😅😅 i just enjoyed the burger just by watching these guys eat and give details about it.
The whole idea about burger in america is same topic in nepal and the food here is momos (dumplings)
Momos🥴 So delicious! I would eat those over a burger any day.
@@ResinAlchemist2024imagine my happiness when I found out that the local Indian place (which I was so happy to see here) was owned a Nepalese family. I asked when they were going to add momo? So they did!
What a great episode! Ollie with his great puns, Josh with his laugh and George with just the most genuine passion for his craft. Love seeing you all having just the best time!
Oklahoma onion burgers are like the definition of small town America food and theyre damn good
I am so happy George was willing to be in this. He has such a great personality.
Cane Sugar is the difference between Mexican and US Coca-Cola. Mexican definitely taste better
I thought the spice recipe was a little different in mexican coke. I definitely prefer it over US coke.
Mexico imports its syrup from the US. The only thing local is the water. They're the same. Any perceived difference is either the glass bottle or expectations.
@@Doomsquad99anyone with half a brain and taste buds would prefer Mexican Coke over American Coke. Going to Mexico for the first time was such an eye-opening experience.
The flavor is different. The type of sugar is the least of it
Thank you for the new video today Jolly guys ❤ I needed a reason to smile 😊 been having a hard time lately ...
Sounds like most of us 😅
Hopefully to get better soon 🙏🏻💐
Aww I love the tiny emoji of the guys 😁😍🥰 thx for that... Hugs 🤗
omg George Motz?! Legend!
love when burger joints keeps things simple with a 5 item menu
keeps things fast, easy and cheap
Everytime I've watched a video with George he is always such a joy
This video was as delightful as it was delicious. Absolutely loved the chemistry with George and Ollie and id love to see him again in another Jolly or Korean Englishman vid!
I honestly feel like Ollie was genuinely into this video and interview and was having the time of his life.
I honestly feel like Josh was way too into that egg sandwich. He had no interest in talking to them while he ate that lol.
oh man so need to get to NYC so want to try Hamburger America, I love watching his videos as well!! Thanks for sharing.
Well maybe George will open some other locations so more people can have his burgers.
This was such a joy to watch. Hadn’t heard of the channel before (but heard of George Mortz) and became instantly a fan. Such great chemistry. Sub’d and bell’d
I cracked up at the Benjamin button menu line. It is kind of hilarious how simple and almost like home comfort food the menu became at the end. No pretentiousness at all. If I’m ever in NY have to try George’s place.
