I cook Thai food at home. Fish sauce is definitely an important ingredient to their cuisine, but it is usually blended and balanced. I was surprised you said you could taste fish sauce in the chicken because it is not normally an ingredient in fried chicken, but definitely in Pad Thai. Although I do love classic Thai dishes I appreciate the innovation and creativity here. It is so hard for restaurants to survive that they have to set themselves apart. These are dishes that don't transport well (in takeout) and really encourage guests to dine in.
What a fun diner concept! I wonder if the sandwich oil on the side, has a fish sauce or shrimp paste base? Very ubiquitous in Thai cooking, but very addictive for me personally:)
Headed to Manhattan this weekend (6 nights). Staying in Times Square (no hate please, close to where I'm going. At Javits for the Fancy Food Show. Would love some ideas for a non touristy, within a mile or two of some restaurants that are fairly reasonably priced. Also need one for 12. Thinking of heading to Hell's Kitchen. Thanks! Love these videos!

@@travelfullerwithout a doubt Christos Steakhouse. They seem to actively try to stay under the radar, a lot of people don’t know about it. It’s a steakhouse with a Greek flair and one of the best meals we’ve had
Wow. the descriptions you guys lay on these place in NYC. The airfare would alone be worth it. But I value my safety and health whilst walking and minding my own business in NYC today.

What a cool restaurant. I'm not a big fan of Thai food, but I think I would do ok at this place. Great review!
Thank you! They have a great selection of traditional Thai food and Thai American fusion. It’s a great way to get people to try something new!

Your food reviews remind me of the “Bill and Lisa” UA-cam channel. You guys really pile on the superlatives.

enjoy being skinny while it lasts Kristin and Will. Big fan of the channel : )
Lord when I make it to heaven please give me a woman like her
This video has too shallow depth of field. Sometimes, not everything is in focus, which should be.
Hope you guys work this out in next video. 👍
You mean fish sauce when you say fish oil?
