Black Satin Tire Shine

I appreciate it, I’ve used the tire shine and the sling is impossible to stop. I will use this one from now on.
You are welcome. You will like this one
Very nice video Brian. Told ya. I really like it and have no issues. Glad you like it now
Camaro Time Thanks! Yes it’s a great product.
Finally, It gives the car a even cleaner look.. Looking foward to more jeep videos 👍🏼
Amar Mohamed Yes it works great! Thanks there are more to come.
New to the channel, great review, I love black satin dressing, it is a must for AT or MT tires, to make my cans last longer I use the Blk satin on the outer edges and pearl or VRT on the smooth surfaces
youngblood23rb Welcome to the channel! Thanks! It is a great dressing and so is VRT. I may have to try that.
Nice review! Looks good
DSW Joyride Productions Thank You! Thanks for watching and commenting
i like it i also use furniture polish that works great as well on tires also my rims, makes it easier to clean...i like the satin look...
I have heard of people using furniture polish but I have never tried it. Satin is a great look!
5 years later whats your experience and does it hold up well, how often are you re-applying?
What’s your favorite satin finish tire dressing ?
I accidentally went to sleep on the live stream last night lol good video bud
MR SOMTHINBASIC215 So that’s what happened to you! Haha Thanks
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing did i miss anything lol ill see ya in the next one bud . B safe
MR SOMTHINBASIC215 No not really we ended it shortly after I asked what kind of videos people want to see.
Great review, I like the Stoners Tire Shine.
Thanks! I have never tried Stoner’s tire shine.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing have you reviewed the 2 0 synthetic clay by mothere
I think this would be a great product for me. I’m definitely going to try it. Like #23
It works great! Like I said it will overspray so there is a little bit of clean up needed afterwards. Thanks
Try duracoat tire shine. Diesnt sling. Dry to the touch. You can hava a 1 coat matte finish or apply more coats .more coats more shine
Looks like it works nicely! I don’t like over spray and I am lazy and don’t like to have to go back over the wheels with a rag so I just stick with using a foam block for tire shine. I agree with you brother and I HATE a product that slings! It gets so annoying and makes such a mess. I do like how this isn’t super shiny and does dry that is two huge pluses in my book!
MeanBee392 It does work good! Overspray doesn’t bother me to much especially with this because it’s not a lot of overspray. I really like it since it dries and truly is a Satin finish. Thanks brother
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing let me let you and meanbee on a little Secret. Use whatever tire shine you want then spray that no sling and dry to the touch groits on top as a sealer you'll have a great shine with no sling.
Chuckwick Simmons That’s a great idea! Thanks
I feel the same way about tire shine. I want it to be clean but a high gloss is a look not for me. That and the slinging! I bought this yesterday for the same reasons. I bought it because it said satin finish & I like/use griots garage products a lot. I didnt read the can like you did b4 purchase but def feel justified after watching this.
UNSC011001 This is an awesome tire shine! In fact I just bought 2 more cans of it. Thanks for watching
I love GG but not their tire spray dressings.
Everything else they put out that I've tried was really good.
I'm with you on the slinging on some tires dressings.
Drives me crazy to see it all over the paint after just a few miles of driving.
When we Install a Ceramic Coating I always use a water based dressing and only use a small amount just to make sure I don't get sling on the new coating
Cajun Kevin I have never cared for their dressings either but this one works great and does not sling and it’s cheap.
Thanks… good info
You are welcome!
Great video , I dont like shiny tires my self lol
that satan finish is awesome
ARCHIE MEGEL Thanks! I like just a satin finish also. Satin finish is perfect for you!
Love that sticker about the msd on the cabinet lol What tire shine do you recommend? I like the tire shine but it does sling way too much.
Victor Bravo Haha thanks! Black Satin does not sling at all. Now Griot’s black shine does sling. My favorite tire shine is Adam’s Polishes Tire Shine it VRT!
I just picked some of this up the other day (haven't used it yet) for winters. I'm a big fan of Carpro PERL but living in Michigan when I detail my car I like to get it cleaned up and back in the house as quickly as possible so I don't like taking the extra 5-7 minutes to apply Perl. That and the more aggressive tread on my winter tires takes more long to apply. This should be a nice option.
B Fielder It is a good tire shine. I don’t know anything about CarPro products but Griot’s Garage makes great detailing products.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Carpro does as well. Their Perl is my favorite tire dressing. Just want to make life a hit easier and quicker in the cold weather with an aerosol and I prefer more matte than gloss.
Any concern about over spray on the wheels? How does this compare to CarPro Perl, if you’ve tried it. Thx
Tundra Whisperer It does get a little overspray on the wheels but wipes off. It has about the same shine as Perl but doesn’t last as long.
I liked it when I first bought it but the last 3 cans were bad. 1 had a bad spray nozzle and the other 2 didn't look like anything was on the tire. I used one can on 4 tires which was 5 coats and it looked like I never applied anything. I called Griots and they're going to send me 2 replacement cans.
my favorite tire coating
I was real happy using NO TOUCH. I cant seem to find it anymore. Has anyone seen it around? TIA
I have this. I am very pleased with it. Gives a nice clean, satin, natural look to tires.
It works best for me when I rub in the base coat well and then spray a very light final coat and lightly wipe away the second time.
rapidride2 It’s a great product! In fact I just bought 2 more cans of it. Thanks for watching
Bro, all that detail equipment and you have yellow headlights?😭
Great review on the fire shine
Search through my channel and you will see where I fixed the headlights on it. This video was right after we bought it and I put an engine in it.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Ah! Cool, gonna go look 👍
Nice
MK6Guy Thank You!
I have a set of matte rims. Do you think this product damage rims?
I don’t think it would but call Griots to make sure. They have fantastic customer service
Looks clean but I like a more shiny finish
MojaveKY Thanks! Yeah everybody likes different tire shine finishes. Thanks for watching and commenting
If you have a heavy trigger finger you can increase the gloss
youngblood23rb haha!!
I really like chemical guys vrp on tires
I just used up the last of my first can I purchased. Love the black satin look.
Yeah it’s a great tire shine!
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing it’s out of stock everywhere!!!!
Turtle was tire shine no sling is the best. Try it…;)

If you get the aerosol can of Griot's Black Shine (it looks just like the can used in this video), and wipe it down about 20 seconds after spraying, you will bet the best-looking satiny finish you will ever see. Wiped like that, the Black Shine leaves an understated, classy finish that lasts for weeks and NEVER slings. Again, I'm talking about the Black Shine aerosol can, not the liquid or gel Black Shine.
LLL MMM I appreciate the info. I have tried Black Shine aerosol but never wiped it down.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing You're welcome. I just came at it with a different mindset that affected how I applied it. I couldn't imagine not wiping it down because I was too concerned I was spraying a coat unevenly (and concerned about sling).
Mr. SomethinBasic215 sent me.
Hard Knocks Forge Awesome I appreciate you stopping by!
I like a satin finish and my son like's a shiny finish lol..
Ouzo Lou Garage Well it should always be up to the guy that paid for the car! Haha
You're too close to the camera.
Yeah this was back when I first started my channel and I didn’t have a good microphone so I had to be close for it to pick up everything I said.
Didn't need to be that long. Too much chit chat with no action.
Basically 2 minutes of explaining is not long. Most viewers enjoy explanations.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing The one I watched was 8:37 and 30 seconds of spraying.
