what state do you live/fish in? i'm in Missouri but we cant use any bullhead that are longer than 5" so that pretty small. wish they would expand it to 8-10"

I do like that rig set up. I just have obviously one hook, I think a 7 or 8. Problem we have is the river so damn high lol. I’m also from Minnesota so we can’t use sunfish or any panfish. We’re so fucking anal here. Can only use one line in the water too, which blows, but can only use 2 lines during ice fishing! Wish I had a boat to hit some good spots dammit! Gonna try ur set up though, looks good & cant miss a fish with that setup seems like. Thanks for the tips!
Catfish swallow bait head first. Too much obstruction when swallowing from tail. All predatory fish without theeth swallow head first. No need for 2 hooks. One circle hook bridled through nostrils of live bait is more than enough.

Bullheads that are 12 to 14 inches long make good eating as well. Just file them like you would a bass and deep fry them
