Will there be any chance perhaps to win a hat/cap with your logo or something? Would be great to have one 👀 Absolutely epic journey, although I kinda wish the series was more like your first expedition to Alaska. Watching old series recorded in a less professional way gave me the feeling like I was really there with you. It was more amateur (in a good way) and wild and this one is presented like it's a Hollywood production. Don't get me wrong, both are great and awesome to watch. I just love the way 2013 expedition was made. Probably gonna rewatch it soon.
I suspect that I'm not alone in saying thank you from an old guy (72) who has neither the physical capability, nor the financial capability to do what you have been doing. As I watch each of your videos, I feel like I'm simply tagging along for the ride. While serving in the Navy in the 60's, I got to see a lot of this world, but now, nearly half a century later, I'm getting to see portions of God's creation that I never got to see. Thank you! Clay, I consider you and your bride my friends, and I am grateful to know you, and to be able to hitchhike on your many journeys. Blessings! Arlen Tofslie
I feel like Clay has had so many moments where he's said "...and that is a story for another time." Might be an idea to make a small video series that's called "a story from another time" or something where you tell those stories.
27 years ago my friend and I packed a Subaru and drove north from Spokane, WA to the Arctic Circle in the Yukon Territory. It is a journey we’ll never forget and it still comes up today in conversation. The Northern lights dancing over Yellowknife NWT, being stared down by Bison outside Whitehorse, and many others. Your many videos always bring those memories front and center, almost like being there all over again. Thank you!
Being present in the moment comes with time, wisdom and age. Enjoy everyday as if it’s your last… it’s why I spend my time exploring the planet everyday!!
Nice Adventure! just a note I can't let go unnoticed and will help many overlanders out there. TRUE Southern most location is not in Argentina, It's actually across the sea from Ushuaia and the location is called Puerto Williams, Chile.
Oh my garsh...The Brothers and the Cookies....We just keep replaying it. They are so adorable and we laugh so hard. We love you guys. Thanks for continuing to bring us such wonderful entertainment!
Loved the cookie scene between the brothers. I think I've gotten to know the Van Stralen kids better on XO this year than on their own channel. Great episode, again. Very nice to have an ER doc with you! Looking forward to the next one, but I think next is last? ...and that will be very sad!
I love the series and as a fellow Christian from the Great Northwest and a Gen 5 Toyota 4Runner owner, could not understand how such a perfectly shot and edited series is not generating more hits and likes. I think the problem is that it is just too much of an extravagant display of wealth and materialism. I looked up the Patriot campers and $45k for a tiny little tent camper? No average American can afford that. Each vehicle starts at about $50k, then has another $50k worth of mods done to it. It's incredibly overwhelming to see how much money has been thrown at each vehicle. Heck, even each person is equipped with thousands of dollars of the best outdoor clothes, hats, and accessories. It's just a bit too much for those of us with average incomes to see you guys go on these trips and reminisce about how great the opportunities and memories are that you are making for you and your kids. Duh... If my dad was a millionaire instead of a cop, maybe I would have fond memories of trips to Alaska and flights in bush planes rather than memories of trips to the Oregon Coast in a `74 Dodge and a pickup bed camper. I think the series is well done, and a lot of great people are involved. But it has gotten so polished and professional that it has left behind the majority of Americans that can't afford the best of the best in glamping gear and vehicles, and equipment. I looked up Dr. John's Mackinaw hat and it was $50. I can't afford even the hat that you guys are wearing without making changes to my budget. So, I appreciate the great job you are doing and appreciate all of the awesome scenery and experiences, but when you have more money in your camper and 4Runner than I have in my house, it begins to get annoying. I don't get any vibes from the guys that they are elites, or consider themselves better than anyone else, but the continuous display of wealth, materialism, and elite gear is just nauseating. I saw a channel titled "Overlanding for the Poors". Perhaps that is more appropriate for those of us making under $100k a year.
This reminded me of my first trip to Alaska. I retired the last day of July 1999. The following Monday my wife and I left Colorado for Alaska driving the Alaska Highway. We made it to Deadhorse, but the bus wasn’t running that day for us to go to Prudhoe Bay. Still it was an awesome trip! I now have seen Denali 5 times…all clear days top to bottom! Been to Homer twice. McCarthy, Valdez, Fairbanks, Wiseman (you apparently drove by), Kodiak (had a long snorkel! Just kidding!) Seward, Hope, Haines, Skagway, Chicken, etc, etc. Returned via the Casiar Highway through Hyder, Alaska. August, September and returned home in October. An awesome adventure! Thanks for bringing back memories!
Going to miss this when you guys are done. Wish we had UA-cam 20 years ago, I was young enough to be inspired and just do it ! Still inspired ! Just too old to follow thru 🙈
Wow, the job you and the crew do to draw your views into the in the adventure is memorizing. What a way to bring really life training into the adventure and make it more easy to learn and retain. Repelling, teaching about tread lightly, advance first aid training, logistical planning, etc. Those 3 young men have grown in this series a long with the rest of the crew. Can’t wait to see what the future have to come for everyone one!!
Can't wait to see the next one , shout out to Dan , Pete ( EFRT ) and Cyrus , they made it that much cooler . And shout to x overland , for doing what you do , I really enjoyed this one . Thank you so much .
I enjoyed the adventure. Glad to see that an umbrella is required gear for Clay??? and that Dr. John has discovered Stormy Kromer head gear.....Good stuff. Safe travels to all.
Really a testament to all the incredible talents of the team to not only make it through this adventure but also capture it in a unique and stunning way in such a tough, yet beautiful environment. Seeing Tanner on the other side of the river still shooting while the trucks pass him by and knowing he then has to catch up to them on foot with camera gear is pretty awesome. It's obvious to the trained eye what an immense amount of effort was put into these films in pre-pro, production and post. Thanks for sharing them with us.
These expeditions and the storytelling are so enjoyable. Thank you for sharing with us. I can't think of better content to view. I can't call it entertainment because it's inspirational and educational and being able to see God's incredible creation tells me a lot about Him.
This show keeps me speechless one episode at a time. Waiting on the final chapter… someday hopefully my family and I will get to do something similar.. kudos to the team..
Man this has been E P I C, everything is fantastic, extremely well produced and entertaining. The last shot of the caravan at night with its lights on, the background with the fire and the wolves howling were beyond words. This was probably my favorite episode yet, can't wait for the final chapter. You know it's going to be hard to out do yourself on your next adventure, but we will definitely be watching eagerly.
I need to do this while I am young. Working as hard as i can to make this trip happen within the next decade before i turn 30. Thank you so much for a truly amazing series and inspiring me to chase this dream!
This was a beautiful, beautiful episode. Thank you also for not shying away from the consequences of injury in the wilderness. It's important that folks see what can happen and how to prepare (always bring an ER doc!).
2 years ago the wife and i made the run up the Dalton Hwy. in a rented 4 Runner. Pulled into the Arctic Circle pull off only to hear the unwelcomed sound of air escaping one of our tires, thus cutting our trek north to Dead Horse short. Seeing yall run up the highway brings back so many great moments for me.
I love the cut about “delirium” on the long trip, and a person to spend it with. Amazing how it sets in on my own personal shorter trips with friends or family.
Based on all that is learned by the faults of breaks which happen on trail teaches us to adapt and over come and remount things where they should have been mounted in the first place.
This series is amazing and a gem in the rough when it comes to UA-cam. I hope you guys keep making these and letting me go along with you around the world since I will never get to myself. Thanks for sharing.
HA! I’m right there with you! Only I’m old and slow now, I am not in physical shape to handle that kind of cool stuff anymore. I want to travel, but it’ll only be on decent roads in a Truck/Camper to give me my hotel suite on the road kind of thang! It’ll have BUG SCREENS an not one but TWO fly swatters inside! Ha!
This series is excellent! I'm definitely making a trip to Deadhorse at some time, I just don't know when. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the cinematography is awesome!
Hi Clay ,you’re presenting a high- class professional wild overlander it’s nice to watch this video; l also made it to artics circle when l travel to most northern part of Norway. (Nordkapp). Greetings from Australia.
Seemed whenever I was there, polar bears were a big threat. No one wanted anybody heading to far either out on the ice pack, even atv’ing out of sight of town. I would find it boring, uncomfortable, as vibration from Tracked 4X4 or school bus is horribly kidney shaking. Modern vehicles might offer more ride comfort. Me? Don’t see the point for this series. But? Am am unfamiliar with todays Point Barrow road system
@@garbinator09 currently there isn’t a road connecting Barrow to Deadhorse/Prudhoe Bay. But I did read an article that the only time to get there by land vehicle is when the ice freezes hard enough on the Arctic. Otherwise, the only way to reach it would be by air.
Absolutely brilliant adventure looks amazing. Definitely right about second chances. The landscape there looks so good, trucks also really well thought out. Thanks

Hello from Butte, MT. Have watched all your adventures over the years. Great content. Thank you for letting us come along through the lens of your cameras. Great Job!!
I have been a fan of the show since the early days. It was really neat to see the rigs sitting in front of the Sheraton Hotel here in Anchorage when you guys were filming this. When I saw them there I had a good idea something good was coming.
Hatcher’s Pass was our go to sledding spot when I lived in Palmer. We never counted on clear weather there even if the forecast called for it. It was real easy to get fogged out hiking there.
New subscriber here and watching all the way from PI🇵🇭, this adventure is EPIC! Great way to teach kids to be a man and one with nature. Keep safe and more adventures🤠👍🏻
I've been watching you all since your first video 8 years ago. This channel took my passion for vehicles and the outdoors and brought them together. It ultimately led me to overlanding and exploring my beautiful province of British Columbia. Thank you for all the awesome content over the years! I cannot wait to see whats next :D
@6:20, this is why I mount my 7 pin inside the bumper, with it hanging off the back bottom like that its going to get destroyed, and could lead to shorts/blown fuses.
Great video series. It's like things have come full circle for you and XO. I love how Cyrus is adventuring with you now. Can't wait to see where this series ends up. Hopefully someone gets to blow up their under britches in Chicken!
My great uncle was president of AR Alaska during the construction of the pipeline. He and my aunt would do flyovers in the corp. helicopter to check construction progress. The family still has a house on the Kenai outside of Soldatna, Alaska. Very cool area.
Great episode yet again! Loving the rain in the morning, if you know you know. :) Cool that you all got to the Arctric Circle, I grew up just south of it in Norway, Mo i Rana, "the town by the Arctic Circle". Fun fact, the arctic circle moves a bit every year due to the change in the axial tilt of the earth, I just learned that last year. :) Again, thank your for another great episode. Simon @ #landroverdrive
I'm surprised ya'll don't have bead locks and an air compressor. That may have helped in a couple situation. But this series is amazing and has me planning some two wheel trips I have wanted to make!
Hope the finger heals ok. I cut my finger just like that whittling at Boy Scout camp when I was a kid. I still have a scar. Your scar story will be better than mine.
this is awesome, I live in Alaska and have always dreamed of doing a trip like this, but it’s so expensive! Living vicariously through you all, thank you
Hand down, this is so much better than Netflix.
All of you mean so much to us! Thank you for joining us for chapter 4!
Right back atcha, Clay.
Will there be any chance perhaps to win a hat/cap with your logo or something?
Would be great to have one 👀

Oh my garsh...The Brothers and the Cookies....We just keep replaying it. They are so adorable and we laugh so hard. We love you guys. Thanks for continuing to bring us such wonderful entertainment!
Having an ER Doc on the crew is invaluable.
Talk about a beautiful example of how to raise a man. Bravo sir.
These character arcs are fantastic. Love seeing the mentorship in the group, too.

jeez, I worked at Prudhoe for 8 years (74 - 82) , and it never occurred to me to take a plunge. Good job!
Going to miss this when you guys are done. Wish we had UA-cam 20 years ago, I was young enough to be inspired and just do it ! Still inspired ! Just too old to follow thru 🙈

It was THE BEST!
Thanks for bringing us along. Incredible series!
Wow, what a great episode. This one set the hook deep. I need to get back there.
This was a beautiful, beautiful episode. Thank you also for not shying away from the consequences of injury in the wilderness. It's important that folks see what can happen and how to prepare (always bring an ER doc!).
... ' Sudden onset of bratwurst syrup dysentery ' ... I want this on a t-shirt! haha best line I have heard in many episodes
Probably my favorite X overland episode to date! Keep crushing it dudes!
This has been an epic awesome journey for all. What a frontier!! From an Aussie down under. Thanks heaps.
I wish I can give such an adventure and lesson as this one to my boys. Thanks for the great story and inspiration. The Crew is awesome 🤠

Fantastic!!! The cookie argument was the best.
I spy a bag of Dot's Pretzels! My favorite camp snack. Great episode my friend.
Clay does the best voice over ...this was a great video!
Thank you!
This has been better than any reality show I’ve ever watched
I love the cut about “delirium” on the long trip, and a person to spend it with. Amazing how it sets in on my own personal shorter trips with friends or family.
Super jealous of those rigs and the experience! One day, I swear.

Very nicely done thanks I really appreciate the hard work thank you
Thank you!
Whoa! I thought this is a travel vlog. This is a Hollywood produced film! Now I want to watch all the videos in this channel.
Yes! No vlogs here ;)
These videos are so inspirational. I love to see all the incredible work you guys do. Keep up the good work
Thank you!
awesome! much love from a fan from the philippines!
Thank you!

For sure on the bug screens. This episode at that one camp looked terrible with misquotes. I can’t stand them.
I really appreciate you guys passing on and delegating responsibility to the ones that are trying to learn. Great series so far
on this planet there are 3 land mases that stand out, Australia, Africa, and the American continent. Simply EPIC!!!!!!!
This series is excellent! I'm definitely making a trip to Deadhorse at some time, I just don't know when. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the cinematography is awesome!
Absolutely awesome episode! I’m truly bummed that it’s coming to an end! Guess we gotta rewatch the other adventures!!!!
Such a stunningly beautiful adventure so far.
Looking forward to this one!
Thank you very much!

Your channel is amazing all the adventures your crew have been thru is just truly mind blowing.
Awesome video, I love this series! Have y'all ever thought about taking a winter trip and driving on the ice to Barrow, AK?
Richard and Ashley did an Arctic trip in our solo series - they loved it!
@@ExpeditionOverland I wonder if Pepes is still there and in Business?

Unbelievable production quality. The natural beauty of Alaska combined with riveting adventure is absolutely inspiring!
Well their read for basic training, Ranger school, SF, 10th Mnt Div.....Drone shots are so amazing
Absolutely love this, makes me look forward to taking my son (a toddler) on an overlanding trip someday.
Probably my favorite episode of the series so far. I really need to take a trip
Up north
Absolutely brilliant adventure looks amazing.
Definitely right about second chances.
The landscape there looks so good, trucks also really well thought out.
Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Fantastic show!!! Keep them coming can watch these all day and night long
Good gear good team! Salute from Kyrgyzstan!
Thank you so much for these videos, they truly are the best thing on tv
I get more inspired every time I watch. Thanks 🙏🏻👍
Soo addicted to your series.
Using wider lens on drone lets us to see scenery clearly and apreciate the nature more.
The view is amazing
Thanks for your efforts. Couple months ago Ive finished the serie yet wanted to see again.

Stellar cinematography! Friggin love the footage and music! Ole boy got some free stitches!!!
Thank you for what you do, love the shots of the wilderness and Toyota trucks
