Impressive, and you had such amazing weather! I was able to drive up there in July 2023. The summit of Atigun Pass was completely cloud covered. I love your drone footage of the pass. I was in love with the North Slope. Did not want to leave. Great video!
Una Toyota es apta para todo, yo mismo lo he comprobado con mi SW4. Excelente viaje, ojala algun dia pueda hacerlo. Felicitaciones desde Argentina!!!!!!
That’s a really interesting video. 👏🏻 Retired truck driver here. Tho I wouldn’t drive a rig up there for all the tea in China, I was fascinated nonetheless. Now I know what a Bubba rope is. And the Willow Ptarmigan! I haven’t seen one of them in about 30 years since I was in the ironically named Caribou region of BC. (There’s no caribou there. 😢)
Great job on the tanker recovery! What was the brand & model of the recovery strap? Amazing test of how well it worked. Think we should be carrying one in our truck.
Wow , as a trucker here in the U.K. I’d love have a drive on attigun pass , no where else on earth comes close to Alaska . Well done for pulling that trucker out , here in the U.K. people would have just drove past you and left you to fend for yourself .
Thank you so much for the video of the second part of this journey! Filming with drone on was incredible. Thank you very much for this! At the end of the video, an all-terrain vehicle on big wheels is a trip to the Russian "Typhoon" or "Sherp" swamp rover (they are almost identical in appearance)! At the end of 2020, rapper Kanye West (he wrote about it on social networks) bought a Russian-designed "Shеrp Pro" all-terrain vehicle. As a gift to rapper Chris Brown. And 2 months before that, he had already made such a gift in September, rapper 2 Chainz Thanks again for the video!
@@LifestyleOverland Not when I worked on the slope. Only constant is change. It was not a BP refinery. Gas is more difficult to make than diesel or kerosene. We had a diesel refinery on the slope until the ULS diesel became mandatory and it was too expensive to upgrade.
I recall going throught the pass in September and it was sketchy enough, I can't imagine going when there are ices and 18 wheelers going both directions...
Yup. That would be the right timeline. I was responsible for getting that and many of its siblings through the first leg of their journey to Deadhorse. What an interesting coincidence. Thanks for sharing.
What a great video Kevin! With perfect music, just the right amount of food shots and intelligent information regarding the area! Thank you for sharing!
This has got to be one of my favourite videos to date! Good job on the recovery! Can’t wait to see what you get up to next, although just watching the scenery roll by is awesome enough!
No freezer required. 😂 My Dad went to college at Bradley U in Peoria Illinois in the 60’s and told me in the winter him and his roommate would keep the ice cream on the window ledge in the winter.
hey by any chance i would love to have your topo bear on my truck let me know plzit would be a honnor by the way tank again for the staunt deflator love them
Epic adventure with two buddies togeather. ..loved it more for your great help for the truck recovery...good karma always returns in leaps and bounds...❤
What a boss recovery mission, it felt like a success before it budged, great job guys! Also the lights underneath the Tundra illuminating the snow all around… looks epic!
we've been in similare situation.... where there was a truck in the ditch and unfortunatly no body stop .....and there was at lease 10 truck who pass by that accident before us .... I always stop for other just to check specially when you're so remote. my girl friend told me : I'm like "Mother Theresa" helping people out all the time ... great job guys with that big rig and risking to brake YOUR truck well done
The Aurora Hotel is a great place to stay. Normally reserved for oilfield workers, they provided me a room for one night. The food was good, laundry was great too, and both were included with the room. My room had a flat screen tv and even a lazyboy rocker recliner.
HI KEVIN & GREGG 👋 BREATHTAKING DRONE FOOTAGE JUST AMAZING SHOOTING 📹 SO CRYSTAL CLEAR VIEWS COLORS SCENERY ! THE WILDLIFE FOOTAGE WAS AWESOME ❤ KEVIN HOW LONG DOES THE BATTERIES 🔋 LIFE LAST WITH THEE EXTREME WEATHER / COLD 🥶 AWESOME SHOTS WAY TO GO ! GLAD YOU BOTH MADE IT SAFELY TO THE END OF WHERE YOU'RE GOING 🙏 BE SAFE ☺️ 🙏 HAVE FUN 😊 🙏GOD BLESS YOU BOTH ALWAYS ON YOUR ADVENTURES 😊 🙏ENJOYED 😊 🙏 THANK YOU ☺️ 🙏
Both the first and 2nd episodes of this journey were GREAT. I especially enjoyed the music in each one and felt you matched the music to the moment really well. Can you tell me the name of the song and the artist in episode 1 that had the words "You have carried me...Take everything and let the new begin"?
Prudp Bay you need a permit to reach the Arctic Ocean. Do the Dempster Hwy to Inuvik NW Territory’s and take the new road to Tuktoyuktuk on the Arctic Ocean. It is a lot easier.
Nice voice, much different from many US sources features reminding me of an acoustic gunfire. I remember an 18 year old US citizen respond to the question of the biggest challenge of current days: people not telling the truth, making up realities to mislead and deceive. Takes you back to this video. Alluring like biscuits and gravy but where is the catch? Washington State versus Alaska intended to make people look for exactly what you show in Alaska to ensure upscale Mormons don't have to share their most recent occupational territory with anyone. Yes I can tell. German citizen, doctor, more than ten years resident of Seattle, lost home because of you invading the best place in the world thereby removing whatever made the emerald city so special and a landmark of freedom. You should have stayed in Utah and left us alone. Dr.Joerg Strate
Well done Gentlemen, communication and skill paid off getting that trucker back on the road. Bravo!
Thanks! It was a fun one!
All they did was pull it back on the road😂😂😂😂
That Tundra pulling out that semi was WILD!
Best commercial ever!
o-boy i can just see it look what the trd tundra can do LOL WHO CARES I HAVE SEEN MANY PICKUPS OF MANY BRANDS DUE SAME THING.
@@biglazybilly and?
I love the way you help that trucker, big salute both of men. Love it🙏🙏
Geez that's amazing.. I've seen videos of Hilux 4x4's helping big rigs through mud in Africa - that's a sight to behold!!
Impressive, and you had such amazing weather! I was able to drive up there in July 2023. The summit of Atigun Pass was completely cloud covered. I love your drone footage of the pass. I was in love with the North Slope. Did not want to leave. Great video!
Thanks so much! We couldn't believe how great the weather was for this!
I was on the fence about buying the New Tundra, you just sold it!!! 🙌
That Tundra is just INCREDIBLE !!!
I just bought a brand new one few months ago 8/8/24 absolutely love it
Great Video’s, great rescue. Stunning scenery. Keep well & Stay safe 👍🇬🇧
Una Toyota es apta para todo, yo mismo lo he comprobado con mi SW4. Excelente viaje, ojala algun dia pueda hacerlo. Felicitaciones desde Argentina!!!!!!
No words other than WOW! Amazing! Incredible! Gutsy! Crazy! Congratulations!
Helping the guy it was amazing thanks guys
You are happy, I am also happy to see you 😊😊😊

What was the brand & model of the recovery strap?
Amazing test of how well it worked.
Think we should be carrying one in our truck.
Thanks! Still can't believe it worked. I think he said they're Bubba Ropes
Sponsored by Tundra 😂 that was wild😂😂
Toyota needs to use this for their marketing. Hey Toyota- use this in your next commercial!

Also .... average people in the UK don't drive a Tundra.
Don't think a 1.3 Fiesta would do the trick....
Well that’s how it usually is lol. Some people down here like to pull people out of the snow. It’s fun.
15:40 wow..... I didn't think it would happen. Saved that guy's day.
That first tug was like... NOPE. Still blown away.
Epic! What's the brand of those studded tires?
I'll see if Craig remembers.
If I'm correct, those are either the Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3 or the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 10 SUV.
I went to Episode 1 of this series and at the 3:10 mark you can see they are the Hakkapeliitta LT3
Great recovery!!
I'll admit, I had my doubts about how that semi recovery was going to turn out!
너희 두사람 은 정말이지 멋진 사나이 입니다 여행을 항상 신 이 너희를 지켜 줄것입니다
I'm gonna need a link to buy that rope y'all pulled with... crazy!!
What size kinetic energy rope was used? Very impressive quality!
Fantastic! What month did you go? Would go again during that time or recommend a few weeks earlier or later for some reason?

I would like to add that the price of such an all-terrain vehicle is about 90,000-95,000 dollars
Wow you got that truck!
You did the best awesome 💯💯
No. It goes to the refinery in Fairbanks and is trucked back to the slope. I am a retired slope engineer.
For diesel I can see that but doesn't the gas get refined in WA? (Per their website)

Wow tundra is strong someday i’ll have that gud job guys
That's awesome!
Nice Job Guy's
Tundra 💪
25:50 NOT bad?! 😂😂😂😂😂 92 octane in NC is $4.25
I've seen it near $9 here so relatively speaking... not bad LOL
Love you guys from Panjab you guys did great ............
Im buying my Tundra now!!!😅
Sweet Recovery!
will have good karma for helping the trucker...greeting from java
where did you purify ? very beautiful places!
Isn't the hitch attachted to the frame? You were talking about checking the bumper.
It was hooked to the bumper, not the hitch.
@@LifestyleOverland Ok
Have you installed an engine preheater for these temperatures?
I think there needs to be short overlaid with Northwest Passage by Unleash the Archers
What heater are you using
saludos desde Venezuela
Saved that trucking company a pretty expensive recovery bill… send them a bill… pay for some of those hardy breakfasts
You deserve 1000 likes to pulled that truck out ❤❤❤
Luckily he was empty and gravity helped
TOYOTA TUNDRA!!!!
Beautifully done, pulling out a stuck semi in a low traction environment is bragging rights material.
Which month did you pass, in summer ¿
When was this shot? I think that I moved the big load at the 2:30 mark for the southern leg of its journey. That’s too funny.
This was February 14-17th
Yup. That would be the right timeline. I was responsible for getting that and many of its siblings through the first leg of their journey to Deadhorse.
What an interesting coincidence.
Thanks for sharing.
And there’s another bit at 20:45. That’s really cool and fun to see in a totally unrelated experience.
We talk about that load in our next episode too. Dropping tomorrow night 👍
I’ll be sure to watch.
Stupid question, did you ride in 4 wd and studded tires? Alaska is a different world, so I didn't know.
Toyota for a reason 😮
Another GREAT video. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!

Absolutely beautiful views wow! Thank you for sharing always.
I don’t know you were from Tennessee!
It’s a wild place
Happy you all made it out safe
The last frontier calls for those willing to help others in need
240 miles on an empty road will take you around 4 hours? You'll be there by lunch time
Not all roads are the same

Salute to you guys for getting that trucker out, Amazing job fellas.
😍😍😍 fantastic
No freezer required. 😂

U better pack a spare engine incase the bearing packs her in
U scream. I scream for ice cream 😂 Great video, and both of you will have good karma for helping the trucker.

Since covid era, i watching your chanel from indonesia 🇮🇩
those red rock lights are killer for camp especially up here in the winter. What drone do you fly? the mountain detail is insanely crisp.
Love it!
Thanks so much!
Awesome and outstanding as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
Awesome video, great camera work, beautiful scenery . great to see helping the stranded trucker, really enjoyed the trip.
I'll never pay $11 For biscuits and sausage gravy.
You have to understand how much it costs to get them here.
Then you don’t live in California!
When I was in Alaska in the early 70s, eggs were $1 a piece, $12 a dozen. Just normal prices up there.
What a boss recovery mission, it felt like a success before it budged, great job guys!
Also the lights underneath the Tundra illuminating the snow all around… looks epic!
Parabéns pelos vídeos.
Que show a ajuda com o caminhão.

Going down the northern slope it is too cold to snow. The moisture in the air is too conditioned.
