  • I just bought the Bosch GSR 18v-60 FC Professional, 5 in 1 drill driver and this is my “unboxing” and first impressions. I must say it’s a very impressive cordless drill driver and the “Flexi Click” system works surprisingly well.
I had access to a previous model of this when I worked as a carpenter but have way more experience using Festool T18+3 Basic and made most of my comparisons to that. However, Bosch has made improvements since their previous model, and I am very impressed with this kit.
Something to take into consideration when watching this (apart from the fact that I got way too giddy while recording) is that a charger and x2 5ah batteries are included in the price I mention.

If anyone know what GSR actually means let me know!
    It remains a mystery! 🤔

"GSR": its Bosch naming code, all German: "G" indicates the "Gewerblich" line, which means the pro line for craftsman (more expensive). "P" means private "Privat" line for handyman. And "SR" stands for "Schrauber" (like power screwdriver). The number tells the torque, here 60Nm hard.
Other similar devices are named GSB "Gewerblich SchlagBohrer" (= light hammer unit) and "GBH" = "Bohrhammer" (= real SDS hammer drill).
By the way you don't have to loose the Flexclick to adjust the extensions, just pull it out a bit, rotate to the position you need and set it back.

Ah yes. I will hang around hardware stores this weekend and ask the employees if they have the new Bosch G*n Shot Residue Flippity-Click. That will impress them! 👌😆

It sure will! I'm known to impress the local store clerk with my professional lingo from time to time. I guess it's something that comes with the job.
Don't bother getting the "to the side thingie" and go straight for the "angle flippidy-clap".

Hi, I have de same drill, I see that in my drill, in the hexagonal bit without accessory installed, the bit wobbles a bit, it is not perfectly straight when turning... is this normal?. I would like to know if the same think happens in your drill. Thanks for sharing.

Putting something in the "hex-mount" tends to wobble a bit. Putting something in the drill chuck should not wobble. i.e. drills should be perfectly straight.

Over-tighthening the flexiclick attachment in long term will cause its locking mechanism to be damaged. Slowly rotate the locking mechanism until you hear 4 to 5 clicks. I do own the same drill, and one of the attachment (metal chuck) accidentally detached from the drill and fell from 5 metre height onto the ground(luckily there was no one near the ladder) due to damaged locking mechanism (can't hear any clicks).
