  • Wow guys, I review the Bosch GSR 18v Flexi Click which has a standard hex drill driver, 90 degree angle bit, offset bit, SDS bit and standard chuck ALL IN ONE BOX and ALL IN ONE DRILL! It's literally quite amazing! I also have a look at the Bosch GSB 18v Hammer drill. We review them over a whole week of use. None of that having them for a day malarkey! Also the battery and Bosch ToolBox app is checked out along with the building of our studio.

      Question. (Back story first) My drains do not want to drain. I have ran an augur through every pipe and vent in the house. Then I had a company come out and do the same. We found no clogs. Also had the city jet the main line. No help. It acts like the is a vacuum in my lines. I have never had any issues in the last 5 year.
      So my question is what direction should I go next?

    My first Bosch was a refurbished drill in 2006. When it decided to take a shit, I bought a Bosch combo set that has a 1/2" impact and a hammer drill in 2020, I have no regrets!!! I didn't know about the battery level indicator until this video!! Thx!!!

    Little tip for you, if you're drilling large holes in ply or MDF like that ...use the holesaw to mark the hole then drill a couple of small holes in or near the kerf of the holesaw. Then when you drill with the holesaw it will fly through 👍 it helps to clear the dust

    My cordless died this summer and I got a Bosch (can't recall the model) drill w/ spare battery. WHOA... it's so freaking awesome. When my Crappy Tire sawzall died, BOOM Bosch. The power in these devices, either torque, or power motor for the recip saw blew me away. (Former P/H contractor). I hope next year is wonderful for you guys!

    18 v flexi....Wow! I just bought the 12 volt never knowing bosch made an 18 volt version and this video is 2 years old. I'm still not upset as I use mine to do light projects. I have more powerful tools for other things but yea, the flexi is a brilliant design. All the best from maine usa..I need to add..I've owned about every major brand of tool out there. And I honestly don't for the most part, have a favorite. I try to buy the best of each brand that I can afford. I work in a home improvement store here in Maine, in the tool department so I see new 🔧 🔨 🔧 🔨. They're all fun to work with, the important thing is...they work when you need them to and don't think you can do the job that requires a bigboy tool with something less substantial. Save the small one for what it's intended use is. Same goes the other way. Power tools just plain out are a thrill to use. Stay safe my friend

    Simple rule for Bosch tools for pros rather than occasional DIY-ers: don't buy green: always buy blue. My jigsaw is still going strong after 10yrs; the 18V-55 that arrived sub-optimal (off-centre driveshaft + gearbox problem) was replaced within 3 weeks with a 60C model even after 3 months urgent job completion usage with no quibbles, & the MFT I generally use for old gloss paint scarifying, general sanding & odd-cornered cutting is still OK after 4 years..

    • @marinokuzmic3056

    • @snafu2350
      @snafu2350 2 роки тому

      @@marinokuzmic3056 I suspect you mean cordless SDS drills for going thru masonry/concrete quicker; my cordless has a standard hammer drill option for (eg) brick
      The green Bosh version is really for hobbyists, so they don't tend to survive the rigours of site work as well IME; the blue (more turquoise/aquamarine IMO) version is very much a professional's machine so it'll prolly last quite a bit longer

    On the Bosch UA-cam video on this tool the guy says the sds was designed for red and brown wall plug sizes and the common screw sizes that most trades use and if you were using 22mm and above you need something else.
    It's like the Festool, it's a system designed to let you just carry the minimum to the job.

    Hi, engineers and home users. Amax model motors have ball bearings for the motors of the battery power tools, supporting high speed and strength at the cost of the same batt charge. Much higher rpm, strength w the ball bearing, and strong enough for years. If you buy new tool, you can fit it to the new one.

      Most of my tools are Makky and the bats are shite. Plus the little yellow but always breaks. And a 5ah one is best part of £70 compared to £30 for a good Bosch.
      Think Bosch will be one to watch with this battery line though. I was blown away by the life and after two weeks of a direct comparison was easily as good if not better than Makky.

    1. Too expensive,hi-tech and complicated. I'm not sure if this tool would survive a drop from one metre, which is quite common at my workplace
    2. Looks fancy and easily attracts other people's attention. Left the drill unattended for few minutes, and that's it.Gone.
    3. The SDS adapter's impact energy is about 1 joule, which is pale compared to standard SDS rotary hammer (2 joules and above). Still able to drill into concrete, but slower and not efficient (if your'e a contractor)
    4. Other adapters I think are okay if you're doing a carpentery work/DIY stuff

    • @Zozo806
      @Zozo806 3 роки тому

      im a contractor and also have the GSR 18V FC. You are just wrong.
      Of course that SDS is not comparable against an 3 joul 18V Bulldog but its more than enough for setting 6 or 8 mm dowels.
      The 90 degree attachment is some times a lifesaver and the offset is as good as for any other professional brand like Festool.
      It has its place and if you are on a smaller job the FC csn be a stand alone solution.
      If you want more like DIY tools look into Workx, Milwaukee or Ryobi

    All these features and only 3/8 max diameter masonry bit is a failure.

    First time I'm disappointed with bosch

      are you serious? Its an 1 Joul attachment for an Drill driver. Its made for quick installations for 6 and 8 mm holes for dowels. It is in the same League as the Milwaukee M12 SDS drill and still it still can become an compact driver can go offset, 90 degree and has a regular chuck.
      It is basicly 2 Milwaukee products in one mashine in better build quality

    Bluetooth on tools is pathetic! Doesn't belong on tools, only lessens their quality.

      You're shaking your fist at clouds grandpa.
      BT isn't the point of the feature. BT is simply a connection medium. They could have used wifi or a cable. Guess what, BT is designed for these types of applications, not just for airpods. Using the BT protocol absolutely makes sense for this type of interface connection because it is low-power and designed for relatively short distances.
      The point of the module is that you can change how the tool operates(and set heat/battery warnings) using your phone instead of turning physical dials and buttons on the driver. Believe it or not, all of your tools could have the option to adjust these settings, but most companies don't offer that to you.
