    How do you know which direction your curls go? You make it look so easy!
    Honestly love your hair and haircut. I wish I could pull it off❤ such a helpful video thank you!

      Thank You! As far as curl direction, if you simply scrunch your hair to initiate your curls, you’ll be able to see which direction they start to flow (either spiraling toward your face, or away from it). From there, when I use rolling/coiling methods I make sure to rotate my finger in the proper direction for each specific curl chunk.
      Deciding on a haircut can be tricky with curls, especially because there are many different textures and they each move and lay differently. But I often find that a more “rounded” cut is flattering.
      So face framing and adding layers can create a curvature along the bottom of the cut, giving it a round shape. It will add more movement, and bring life to curls by removing some of the excess weight (if it’s normally all one length with less dimension).
      I hope this helps a little!

    I absolutely love your hair. I would like to wear my hair like that but I don’t have the curls/waves that you have on the top of my head. When I go to my hairdresser for a dry cut what cut should I ask for? Perhaps finger coiling, etc would hep with that. Tia 😀

      Hello, Thank You! If you want this same exact cut, I would just ask for a “round” shape. Go with chin length (or longer, if you prefer). Ask for face framing and layers.
      The length (or shortness) of the layers and bangs just depend on your comfort level… and of course what you and your stylist decide would be most compatible with the shape of your facial features and your specific hair type (thin/thick, straight/wavy/curly/coily, porous, etc.)

    Thank you for posting this video. I have very similar hair to yours, I have a similar length but more of a shag layer less fullness around the bottom. The person who cut my hair did the two-finger curl and it looked so amazing. But even after watching you here I can't quite figure it out. I don't know exactly what you're doing with your fingers. I just keep finding myself using one hand to curl the hair around one finger, but when I pull my finger out the curl unwinds. Doing the "with your curl pattern" I don't really like my curl pattern so I prefer the two finger method (and because that's what my stylist did). But I feel like I have failed at both! And I didn't quite see if or how you do the back? I can't possibly do the back because I can't see it!

      Hello! The techniques can be tricky, I definitely have not mastered them by any means. And my curls in this video are not in a healthy state, so they weren’t necessarily cooperating how I’d like. I will keep this in mind and do a future video with more in-death detail and close-up video… I’ll be sure to tag you once I do!

    Way too time consuming! I use clips and let it air dry, diffusing half way, comes out great

    • @JaimeRamberg
      @JaimeRamberg  6 місяців тому

      @@bobbemundt3478 I air dry most of the time, too. Styling + Diffusing can feel like an eternity. But for the weeks I want to see a bit more definition/seal/volume, I’ll spend some time on it.
