    Great results! Will you get smile line fillers in a future vlog to compliment the Botox?

    • @JaimeRamberg
      @JaimeRamberg 5 місяців тому

      @@MusicLover7499-p6g I’m not a fan of filler, I actually tried it (in my smile lines) years back, but it did nothing. And ended up becoming more of a deformity later on than anything, as it migrated over time. So I had it completely dissolved and don’t care to try it again. Aside from the provider’s work, I didn’t like the look and feel of it. So I’ll be focusing on a few things: my at home AM+PM medical grade skincare routines, tox for static wrinkles, in-office treatments for my Melasma + hyperpigmentation, facial exercise & facial massage, and potentially new treatments in the future (that provide natural results) and work with/complement my natural facial structure. But I’m definitely hyper aware of the volume loss and laxity as the years come! The falling of the mid & lower face. Essentially, surgery would be the most dramatic & effective way to actually lift the face and *remove* the excess skin. Nothing topical could fix that, unfortunately. But we’ll see what the future brings…!

    My hair recently went curly so I’m trying to figure it out! How do you style it after sleeping on it!?!?

    • @JaimeRamberg
      @JaimeRamberg 7 місяців тому

      This can be tricky. For me, since I do not have a very defined/tight curl pattern, the style can be lost quickly... especially during sleep. But what I like to do is use a silk or satin scrunchie, very loosely tie all of my hair at the top of my head. Apply a satin scarf around my hairline. Then top it off with a satin bonnet. In the morning I'll refresh my curls my shaking them loose and lifting at the root (with my fingers to my scalp) to recreate volume. If need be I'll slightly dampen and retwist the individual clumps that need it.

    Thank you for posting this video. I have very similar hair to yours, I have a similar length but more of a shag layer less fullness around the bottom. The person who cut my hair did the two-finger curl and it looked so amazing. But even after watching you here I can't quite figure it out. I don't know exactly what you're doing with your fingers. I just keep finding myself using one hand to curl the hair around one finger, but when I pull my finger out the curl unwinds. Doing the "with your curl pattern" I don't really like my curl pattern so I prefer the two finger method (and because that's what my stylist did). But I feel like I have failed at both! And I didn't quite see if or how you do the back? I can't possibly do the back because I can't see it!

    I absolutely love your hair. I would like to wear my hair like that but I don’t have the curls/waves that you have on the top of my head. When I go to my hairdresser for a dry cut what cut should I ask for? Perhaps finger coiling, etc would hep with that. Tia 😀

    • @JaimeRamberg
      @JaimeRamberg 10 місяців тому

      Hello, Thank You! If you want this same exact cut, I would just ask for a “round” shape. Go with chin length (or longer, if you prefer). Ask for face framing and layers. The length (or shortness) of the layers and bangs just depend on your comfort level… and of course what you and your stylist decide would be most compatible with the shape of your facial features and your specific hair type (thin/thick, straight/wavy/curly/coily, porous, etc.)

  • @mariamia2221
    @mariamia2221 10 місяців тому

    How do you know which direction your curls go? You make it look so easy! Honestly love your hair and haircut. I wish I could pull it off❤ such a helpful video thank you!

    • @JaimeRamberg
      @JaimeRamberg 10 місяців тому

      Thank You! As far as curl direction, if you simply scrunch your hair to initiate your curls, you’ll be able to see which direction they start to flow (either spiraling toward your face, or away from it). From there, when I use rolling/coiling methods I make sure to rotate my finger in the proper direction for each specific curl chunk. Deciding on a haircut can be tricky with curls, especially because there are many different textures and they each move and lay differently. But I often find that a more “rounded” cut is flattering. So face framing and adding layers can create a curvature along the bottom of the cut, giving it a round shape. It will add more movement, and bring life to curls by removing some of the excess weight (if it’s normally all one length with less dimension). I hope this helps a little!
