Nothing is more satisfying than loving the car you own, doing your own maintenance, and modifying it yourself. I don't do it to save money, I do it because it's a labor of love and I get a little nervous about anyone else touching it.
I added those Ford Performance catch cans on my 2014 GT and while they looked stock and looked good, they still let a lot of oil past the can part. I still had a lot of oil in my exit line on the passenger side. I went back to running my Bob's Auto Sport can and no more liquid oil in the exit line. I did put the FP can on my fiancée's 2017 F150 with the 5.0. Having it is better than nothing. Anyway, great channel and I love to see a female working on her own stuff since that seems to be a rarity. Keep up the good work.
Have watched almost Every vlog and have No clue how Anyone could miss that Thumbnail pic lol! As always, another amazing vlog Doris. Very hot out now, stay cool and keep those tires sticky and have fun! Much love from your fans! Stay blessed!❤Edit:love the wrist tat. Hope see new 1 in future for your love of cars!
I totally love the fact that you went with Ford Performance parts. You're right, the parts look like they were on the car when it rolled off the line in Flat Rock.
Wow, the installation of the Ford kit is much more involved than the JLT catch can. I like that this is a Ford Performance part and looks oem, can barely tell its even there.
Respect to this young lady who loves car, I am driving car for more than 13 years and I don't use to do this all but hats off young lady, and post videos often, by the way nice costume. 😊😊
I finally got a GT350!!! Thanks for posting this video and the video for the Op7 lights! They've helped so much. I broke a pin for the driver's side, so I'm gonna have to get a new pin. But your video helped so much. Thanks again. Wish I could show you my baby!
Congratulations on your GT350!!!! No problem, I'm glad the videos helped. That sucks, which pin did you break? What color is your baby? Send me an email woman.driven@gmail.com
I am a 62-year-old man from the Netherlands, only a short subscriber to your UA-cam channel and find your videos super ! You do a lot for your car, great, only I don't know why you have assembled these last two things and what these are for !
OMG you are killing me, Killing me softly 1:12 Honestly i like how you know everything around, you know what you are doing, thats rare to find. Excellent
I think it’s great that you’re doing these kind of videos it’s nice to see a good looking woman doing UA-cam videos that are not boo-hoo try on Hauls keep up the good work girl
Great job. I did the passenger side on mine. I'll eventually get to the driver side ... don't get to drive it enough. Looking forward to the resonator delete ... should sound amazing.
Hi Doris...Thank you so much for this new impressive Video...Like in your earlier Videos you did a really great Job...I think a lot of mechanics can learn from you...When you do something on your cars it always looks so easy...For me you are a genius, no joke...I send you a lot of respect from Switzerland...Take care and drive safely...Cheers
Hi Rolf, thank you. This modification is rather easy though. Just remove the old hoses and install the catch can with the new hoses. Anyone can do the work I do, just takes learning and practice. I am still learning.Take care.
Im a believer in catch cans, I had them on my 5.0 mustang and on my 6.2 raptor. A small investment in keeping the motor clean. I like how you went with the ford performance ones. It looks original. Good work!!
props on the install, and I enjoyed the video a lot :) I would've loved to have you do a DIY install voiceover explaining what vacuum lines you were removing and why! Kind of like a follow along installation, I am interested in adding these.
Very good idea to install the catch cans will help you're engine stay clean inside and running healthy for many years to come great choice on the Ford performance for the factory look
The res delete is what I'm waiting to hear. I can't wait. As for the track spot, all sold out for this year. There is a local track near me, so I will need to check them out.
Awesome well done! Your shelby going to sound bad ass when you delete those resonators! That's one thing me and my dad are going to do to his shelby. Again amazing job!!😊
Okay, back at it again. Try the gas actuated struts for your hood. Why Ford went with the rod, I don’t know. Would like to hear your thoughts on a new air filter too. Ford’s got both out, let us know what u think!
Great vid. A+ That is definitely a must. Don't want those oil vapors causing carbon build up or oil in your combustion chamber. Loss of horsepower. Well done!
Doris, I'm loving the editing, content and overall feel of your videos. For example, this one was just long enough to be informative, but not long enough to be boring (well, not like anybody would be bored on this channel :), but you know what I'm saying. Well done!
That is the tough part when I do installs. I can't make it too long. I did mess an opportunity to describe a bit more on what I was doing. I will address that in future videos.
Yeah, finding the right balance isn't easy. You're doing great though, and each video teaches you something about what you want to do better or different.
Yes! A smile is so important and attractive....and most people don't understand or realize that. It makes woohoo much difference. And most don't get it....and wonder why they have trouble with other people, in general. You've got it .... it seems constant and natural. You've probably had an easy time with other people.
Sorry to sound like so many others below, but really enjoyed this video and also offer a virtual high-five on the editing, would be interested to know how you decide on what mods you’ll do when? Thank you and have a great rest of your week.
I am a old guy with ugly worked to death hands, but I wear rubber gloves when I am under the hood of my 06 Mustang GT 500, or my 06 F 150. Probably will when I start working on my new Ram 1500. I just think your hands look so nice, so maybe the gloves might work for you. Great video!
First, save the sexist remarks. She is doing all her own mods, unlike many on UA-cam. Plus, she drives her GT350 like a beast. Second, her videos are top notch, and to the point unlike many that drag on forever. Best channel imo.
She getting better and better at this and she the only female UA-cam channel I'd follow. Keep up the good work👍.... Keep coming strong with your videos🎥
Dorace, great video. I just fabbed a catch can for my Whipple GT for the same reason you chose the crazy expensive Ford Performance parts. They look good. Couldn't find one that looked good. Even Ford performance didn't look right with the supercharger. I struggled with the hose connectors as Ford had changed them people. You need a flat blade tool to pull the large tab back while you squeeze the small tabs on the side. Small flat screw driver works great but I've used a dime in a pinch. Used to just have to pinch the tabs. Could you please do a follow up on emptying the catch cans. I'm glad I put one on. I'm surprised how much oil I get on the passenger side. Didn't do the driver side.. keep them coming Dorace as winter is on its way and their are going to be a lot of parked mustangs looking for Arizona content.
The hoses went on surprisingly easy. I did see some videos of others stating tight fitment or stretching. I imagine a Whipple would benefit the most than an N/A car. Either way, I will make an update in a few weeks of driving the car to see where it collects.
Typically I think of catch cans being needed for supercharged or turbo applications although I do remember that later on you find oil in the cans. What's the reason for needing them with an NA setup?
What are you a car mechanic? You really know a lot about cars and how to fix them. Btw Great video and keep up with the good work. Also your very pretty.😃👍
I didn't want to sift thru 540 comments to see if you have answered this, but there is always a nagging question to this install. You bought Ford performance catch cans. The question is, if Ford sells them, why don't they come on the car?? Sometimes it makes my head hurt the amount of overkill redundant systems on a car, yet a simple catch can isn'r deemed a standard component? Kudos to you for having the foresight to get them installed.
I wish I knew the reason why it does not come standard. It doesn't make any sense other than them knowing most owners won't drive the car anywhere near the limit. I was initially reserved about it, but after seeing some other videos showing the excess oil and pictures, I pulled the trigger.
Would appreciate it if you could add more content to explain each step along more through. Especially if you ran into any problems. Thank you for the video.
That is good to know. I did not know about those. I need to go find them and buy some. My initial thought was heat when I used the ones found at a hardware store, but I figured I did not have a choice. Thank you for that.
Nothing is more satisfying than loving the car you own, doing your own maintenance, and modifying it yourself. I don't do it to save money, I do it because it's a labor of love and I get a little nervous about anyone else touching it.
You get it. That is 100% the reason.
I added those Ford Performance catch cans on my 2014 GT and while they looked stock and looked good, they still let a lot of oil past the can part. I like your clean and organized approach to installing mods! Kudos on a lovely car.
Thank you.
I totally love the fact that you went with Ford Performance parts. You're right, the parts look like they were on the car when it rolled off the line in Flat Rock.
They do look good and I'm glad I chose Ford Performance. I just wish they had already came with the car when it rolled off the line.
Wow, the installation of the Ford kit is much more involved than the JLT catch can. I like that this is a Ford Performance part and looks oem, can barely tell its even there.

They just ensure the engine is healthy and running the most power by having a clean intake with no oil residue.
I have seen a few of your videos and you have inspired me to do maintenance on my vehicles. Great videos. Thank you.
I'm glad I was able to inspire. Thank you for watching.
Great shots of the rear bumper on your ride it looks FANTASTIC!
OMG you are killing me, Killing me softly 1:12
Honestly i like how you know everything around, you know what you are doing, thats rare to find. Excellent
Good video!!! After watching this video, I really need to get one for my car before I regret it. Keep the videos coming!!!!
Well done, you must really love this car, keep the videos coming.
Thank you.
I think it’s great that you’re doing these kind of videos it’s nice to see a good looking woman doing UA-cam videos that are not boo-hoo try on Hauls keep up the good work girl
Thank you, I enjoy working on my cars and learning about them. Thanks for watching.
Yesterday discovered your channel and I'm Wow am hooked up with your work. Keep doing it and showing your hobby to us. 👏
Thank you, I appreciate it.
The Shelby 350 is my dream car, watching your videos show me exactly what I’ll do when I get one, keep up the amazing job, top notch! 👌🏽
I'm glad I could help. You will love the car when you get it.
Awsome video! She knows her stuff and whats she is doing. That part should come with the car from the factory.
Great job. I did the passenger side on mine. I'll eventually get to the driver side ... don't get to drive it enough. Looking forward to the resonator delete ... should sound amazing.
You’ll be very happy with this mod, I’m running the UPR system on my Roush Supercharged 2017 GT and it works well!
Holy moly.....you make complexity look simplicity. Awesomeness!!!
This was a fairly simple modification, overall pretty easy to do. It can make anyone look like a professional lol.
Love your videos, I recommend dumping the old oil from the catch cans every time you do the oil change!
I will check them periodically to make sure they don't get full.
Over priced OEM , JLT much better plus easy to clean.
Nice, you are doing the car justice and I truly enjoy watching. Keep it momma!!!
Im a believer in catch cans, I had them on my 5.0 mustang and on my 6.2 raptor. A small investment in keeping the motor clean. I like how you went with the ford performance ones. It looks original. Good work!!
Thank you.
Good job !!!!!!! You’ve grown your channel10 fold. Really proud of you!
props on the install, and I enjoyed the video a lot :) I would've loved to have you do a DIY install voiceover explaining what vacuum lines you were removing and why! Kind of like a follow along installation, I am interested in adding these.
That is true. I am working on adding more audio when I install so its clear to understand. Thanks for watching the video.
I see you figured out what most want to see In your videos👀 but I hope they also see how knowledgeable you are when it comes to Automotive work👍
Dorace, glad to see you got them. The most important mod for your engine's life.
Ur fun to watch and u know what ur doing thanks for making theses vids
Very good idea to install the catch cans will help you're engine stay clean inside and running healthy for many years to come great choice on the Ford performance for the factory look
Yes, thank you. That was the idea.
Part of my utube video binge while at work awesome work and patience cleaning every few days a black car keep it up not too many girls do what you do

Nice job and engine clean I love that I proud of you Doris
With all due respect you have everything, beauty, charisma, personality, voice, simplicity and a super car
Another awesome video, that is one clean engine bay. Those Subs, wow.
Clean install! It totally looks stock and blends in with the rest of the engine. Nice work! 👍
The catch cans blend in nicely! The reso delete is going to be nuts on that car. Hope you get a spot for your track experience soon enough!

Nice Work...Every Inch fixed perfectly..!!
Okay, back at it again. Try the gas actuated struts for your hood. Why Ford went with the rod, I don’t know. Would like to hear your thoughts on a new air filter too. Ford’s got both out, let us know what u think!
Love Kobalt. You always have the nicest tools.
I respect this lady, know how to maintain her car & own a shelby GT350..i myself couldn't afford that car😊
Great vid. A+ That is definitely a must. Don't want those oil vapors causing carbon build up or oil in your combustion chamber. Loss of horsepower. Well done!
100%. I will check them out later on to see how much oil has been collected.

Looks just fine, I check mine once a week.
She getting better and better at this and she the only female UA-cam channel I'd follow. Keep up the good work👍.... Keep coming strong with your videos🎥
There are others you should follow as they also have great content. Either way thank you and I appreciate the follow.
You're welcome

Great job looking forward to the next one!
Beautiful car! Awesome job on the catch can install. I love to see a beautiful woman working on her car. Keep up the good work. I just subscribed.
Great job as usual by the "Ultimate Woman"!!!
I love your videos and I subscribed recently because I like that you are a woman who breaks the rules and you are an example for other women.
Thank you for the sub. I hope that is the case. It would be good to be an example and show others can do what I do, both men and women.
A woman that can do all, for sure you know more and do more than I can. Great job! Take Care.
Yessss!!!! Waking up out my sleep for this
😂
Cant wait for the future of this car!💯 content gets better and better👍😁
Again, excellent editing skills! Nice looking install.....for a Ford I guess 😉
😂
Awesome.. cant wait for the exhaust;) did a muffler delete on mine

Thank you.
She has a smile that can cure any disease !!
Eres la mujer de mis sueños!!/ the woman of my dreams!!
Jaja mentiroso
I bought high temp zip ties that have the small metal piece inside where the zip tie goes into. I use them on my harley, especially near the engine
That is good to know. I did not know about those. I need to go find them and buy some. My initial thought was heat when I used the ones found at a hardware store, but I figured I did not have a choice. Thank you for that.
