    Doris, wow- what a project. You did great. This is the first GT350 bumper removal video. They look fantastic...way to hang in there when it got challenging. Man I'm proud for you... Keep them coming.

    • @woman.driven
      @woman.driven  5 років тому

      It was a project haha. But I wasn't the first one like I thought lol..CJ pony was. Someone sent me a link yesterday of them installing some lights and shows the removal. But they did not use any tags or keywords so I couldn't find it when I tried looking the first time. But, I'm glad I did it the same way they did. So my guesses were correct. Thank you. More on the way.

    Another beautiful job you did, Doris. Here in Brazil many authorized Ford dealerships can't do, in this car, a service as well done as yours. You're the best! And the new lights were beautiful!

    What I like about your videos is the fact that each video is an example of being able to do certain things yourself. As long as you have property information, proper tools, and patience. You can damn near do anything and everything on your own. I just wish I had access to videos like this when I was a teenager versus learning the hard way or just giving up.

    • @woman.driven
      @woman.driven  5 років тому

      That's true. With every video I learn and think differently when performing these installations. Tools and patience worked out this time. I did not have the exact video to help, but it got me far enough that the rest was just a process of elimination and common sense lol. Any one can attack this if they want really.

    Great job and i like the fact you thought ahead and get things in place to support the bumper. The new led look really sharp and just adds to the overall look of the Mustang front end. I also like the fact you gave a nod to Lowes and the led flash light you purchased there. Be safe and again great video.

    • @woman.driven
      @woman.driven  5 років тому

      lol. I love Lowes..but not because they pay me (they don't haha). I just like their blue color. I needed support and I was only one person so the buckets came to the rescue. Lights came out better than I expected. Thanks for watching.

    Hi Doris...Very, very cool how the new lights are looking...Stunning...What about the backlights...? Is there also an LED solution available...? How many hours you needed to install...? Thanks for this very interessting Video...Enjoy "The Beast", take care and drive safely...Hugs from Switzerland...By the way: 14 Degrees Fahrenheit = -10 Degrees Celsius... ;-)

    • @woman.driven
      @woman.driven  5 років тому +2

      The back lights follow the same sequence for the turning signal. So that's cool. I don't believe there is a non LED option. They sell a lot of LED products. It was a very interesting install but I'm glad I did the lights. It is way way to cold over there. Stay warm. Cheers!

    Keep a eye on them. They tend to give out and work intermittently or some LEDs stop working. I had them on my 2016 Mustang GT and went back to stock. You can check some of the reviews on Amazon about the issues. Good job on the install. You probably did not have to take off the fender liner completely just to reach that 1 screw for the bumper

    • @woman.driven
      @woman.driven  5 років тому

      I hope it doesn't. It will be a pain to replace though lol. The fender liner needed to be removed. It is a lot stronger materiel and does not fold well at all.

    So, to change the lights we don't have to disassemble the light, we have to:
    - Disassemble the whole car around the light.
    - Must have tools, two plastic buckets and a bin...
    Honestly, by the end I was thinking I would never do this because it's too much of a hassle; until you turned them on... TOTALLY worth it.
    Good job and thanks for the detailed walkthrough, it looks great.

    Great job as always, the next mod you should do is the sequential lights for the back. It’s a lot easier then the front, mostly just wiring which I’m sure you’ll be able to do. It will make the lights sequence when you brake and lock/unlock the car the same as if you had the turn signal on. I think you’ll really like how it looks! ❤️

      Oh that's cool. I'm sure the cars behind me will be confused when I brake lol. Thank you!

    It was worth your efforts; the new LED lights look outstanding and I like the turn signals in addition to the tattoo behind the ear :)) Ford should have the lights stock from factory! German cars use this sequence!

    Yet another great video, thanks!!
    Lights look great!!
    Not sure if they're worth the hassle of having to remove the bumper again (removed it once before to install the ZL1 tow hook), but I really like the look. Wish I had known about these lights before, lol!!
    Keep the great videos and amazing smile coming!!!

      lol it would have been worth it to do it all in one shot. That bumper removal is a hassle. I actually need to get a tow hook. But I love the way they look. Thank you!
