    Ah. i remember my first takoyaki as a child. I ate one, fresh from the pan and literally burned my entire mouth all the way down the throat. Im 27 now and i still do that mistake....

    Theres a small takuyaki resto here in our village its always soldout. Everybody loves takuyaki! So yum!!

    One of my favoraite japanese snacks! I guess before i can make takoyaki i have to practice to make them round! And also have to visit a japanese grocery so i can get the ingredients! But thank you for doing thos takoyaki vlog and hoping i can make it this week! Wish me luck!

    Another recipe idea would be homemade Hayashi rice. Not from the package. Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki are my favorites lately. I had okonomiyaki for breakfast this morning.

    i see that most of your viewer are filipinos they mostly watch the filipino series
    but i like this more it's not that i hate filipino series
    im filipino too so
    i enjoy filipino series coz we can see your point of view in filipino cuisine
    but i like you other foods coz i can learn from them

    Thanks for the tip on how to turn the takoyaki, I made some earlier and ended up burning quite a few of them, I used forks to turn them, could be the reason. I will try your 1-to-7 method and buy some skewers next time.

    Omooooo! You're a life saver. Or should I say, a craving saver xD We had a takoyaki seller several streets from our house, but not anymore cause they now have a place in a mall. No more wonderful takoyaki store in our neighborhood now :(

    If you ever had the chance to get some Filipino sweet mangoes can you make some mango flavored Yatsuhashi sounds really yummy specially Filipino mangoes are famous for being very sweet.

    My goodness they look just like the ones I bought from food stalls in Dotonbori, Osaka! I bet they taste great! I would love to eventually see all of the recipes you have lined up, but If I had to choose one now, I’d very much like to see your take on gyoza.

      @@HiroFoodinJapan mostly just cabbage and carrots; so it can't be called takoyaki I guess. Hahahahaha I'm pretty sure they serve authentic ones at Japanese restaurants, though. But in most stalls in the mall or the stalls on the sidewalk of the streets, they just have veggies inside. ☺️

    Home made gyoza from making the wrapper to the sauce.
    I’ve always wanted to try it and tried making the wrapper but it just wont work.

      The takoyaki sauce is the same as okonomiyaki one that I made from scratch in the okonomiyaki video 👍 Turing takoyaki is actually easy once you get the hang of it 😊
