It’s surprisingly easy, the hardest part is getting the pan so you’ve already done that! All the ingredients for the batter from the supermarket if you don’t already have it in the pantry and you can put anything inside (my fave is tako still). They have all sorts of fancy stuff now but this is from a Japanese mum who has made it hundreds of times for happy kids and I myself have made it dozens of times. For 32 balls (so just halve it and it doesn’t need to be exact either): 200g plain flour (Google it for cups measurements) 2 tbsp cornstarch 2 large eggs 575mL water 1.5 dashi powder or chicken stock (substitute with soy sauce if you don’t have either) 4 tsp soy sauce
I want Filipinos to experience authentic takoyaki here in the Philippines. I hope someone will send me a recipe fot the batter and sauce. Ive tried a lot of recipe from the internet, but it seems not authentic.

I just bought a takoyaki pan because I LOVE takoyaki. But, I have neither the right recipe or the technique to make it 😂😂😂
