In my area those both work well but also you cannot give us a mention without lucky craft Stasee 90 and pointers 110s but I agree with you on the other two
Cameron.....great video. Ill be down on lanier in two weeks. Never fished there. Im staying in gainsville right on the lake. Any help regarding where to start? Keep up the great work and have a wonderful easter brother
Fantastic! man you are in for a good time the lake should be on fire. should be a blast. reach out to me again on one of my videos in a week and a half and ill give you an update but if i had to guess i would start shallow on docks throwing a worm and swimbait looking for spawning fish. depending on how that goes move out to secondary and main lake points and clay saddles and throw a spinnerbait, jerkbait, crankbait, underspin, or swimbait over those with wind. maybe even some topwater. as far as location i would stay around the bridge or south. i know thats generic but its all very similar on the south end in terms of what you will be fishing.
@@campetro10 I made it down to lanier this evening. I'm having sonar pros do some wiring work tomorrow and I should be free to fish tuesday through thursday. I'm staying on the lake at mile marker 32 just above flat creek. We dont have spots up north so I'd like to catch some, also I'm a striper guy being from Connecticut so I'd like to experience that as well as bedding fish. Let me know what you think??? Also, how is fishing on the buford damn ? Any good tackle shops you suggest as well?
@@scottsasanecki4106 fantastic! I believe you will love Lanier. it is a pretty lake and fun to fish! excellent to catch the spots hit points with brush on them you will catch some magnum spots. not sure on the bedding fish there may be some up there this week still with the weather but i havent looked the last week and a half. striper are fun but i would ask the guys at the tackle shop as i havent targeted those in a bit but i know live bait will be that method of choice. yes, hammonds fishing is the best tackle store. tell them i sent you. let me know how your trip goes here!
Can’t wait to dive into this one. Last week I took 3rd place and big fish in my club tourney at Allatoona. Caught my whole limit in one creek with a 4lb spotted bass being the biggest. All on JERKBAIT! Keep it up bro I enjoy every video!🙏🏽🙏🏽
that is awesome! congratulations. how is Allatoona fishing right now? Lanier has been on fire. Dang! that is a monster spot! i dont doubt it for a second. that is a fun bite.
@@campetro10 allatoona has been on fire for numbers but rare in size. I’m still a little shocked I did that well. There was a 12lb largie caught earlier that week. Lake is doing super well!
thats awesome! now is the best time of year to throw it. id be curious to know how those Berkley jerkbaits perform for you. i personally have not tried them.
I usually just pop the slack. They might jump a foot at most side to side. You're really ripping this thing to get a 5 ft movement? KVD style? Great videos, thanks
@@JohnK-dv7pb yes to get them to move 5 feet you have to get crazy in your cadence. if you want it to move that much you have to full blown rip the bait. it could be a full body exercise🤣 but i have done it and sometimes thats what it takes if you are stubborn and wont put it down liek me. you could call it that style for sure haha.
I believe both “just fishing” and “scoping” have their time and place in the highest level of competitive tournament bass fishing. I utilize both to learn and maximize my time on the water. However, let’s put it this way, I fished for 12 years before it was even a thing so the foundation is there to utilize that knowledge and maximize it with technology.
Really good video, great info and details!
Just started using a hard Jerk bait. Had success with the Vision 110

fantastic smallmouth and spotted bass jerkbait for sure. excellent recommendations that are absolute fish catchers.
Lucky craft is by far my favorite jerk bait
Good info! This was great to watch with my morning coffee.

Bro got the essential hoodie on
I’ve been catching some on the Spro Mcrip on lake allatoona. Just pick up some of the Berkley stunna 112 to try out

Loveeee the stunna especially in the fall/winter since they fall like dying threadfin

Vision 110 silent for pre-spawn/spring
Berkley Stunna in the fall/winter for the slow sink 🤫🤫🤫
Can you clarify if you are a spotlighter? I can’t waste my time on hacks so I just want clarification. Are you a real bass fisherman or a hack scoper?
