Awesome video if watched all of yours with this pickup because I ordered one back in the beginning of September still waiting on it. Its at least fun to watch someone else drive theres
Great video! Thanks. I bought my High Country last October and have been extremely pleased with it. On an 1100 mile trip I got 25mpg overall. Was empty half the trip and carrying about 500# on the way back Into strong headwind and some hills ( Mississippi and Central Texas)
Love the information keep it coming as far as the live one I don’t know if I would be watching or not. I’m thinking about both the truck you had in the truck you have now so I really appreciate the info
Good review, I like how detailed and knowledgeable you are. I just got a AT4 6.2l with the standard bed. I was heavily considering the small Dmax. I came from a 2013 Dmax and had many emissions problems and was sick of regens. I like the 6.2 simplicity and runs very well. I just got back from a 550 mile road trip and I got 17.6 hand calculated mpg and that’s averaging I’d say 70-80mph. I also had some in town driving. I was happy with that.
I like the info your giving out! I’m really wanting to pick one of these trucks up but I’m waiting to make sure all the bugs get worked if their is any but so far I’m buying one!!
Chad love how you cover areas no one else would.. For example cooling & heat of oil etc...You covered camera better then anyone out there, and after seeing your vlog i have to have it. Please would like to hear on ride characteristics, as in wind noise, sway when a large vehicle passes you, and how does the Silverado handle? Meaning how does it feel in the steering, does it feel nibble ..etc. Your definitely technical and I like that. I would like to hear your braking experience when descending off a high grade of course when you find yourself in these scenarios. Does the truck automatically throttle down? ..etc.. Thank you for your Vlogs.
Great Video Chad thanks for the information I seen someone answered the PPM so I don't have to indicate that, nor the app plugged into the OB port for ending diagnostics which is a wonderful feature however you said the ambient temp was 48 degrees while driving. I believe the transmission temp will increase when the hotter temps do exist and just a thought for I have endured over my life is that if you slow down to lets say 60MPH the transmission will run cooler. I think normal temp for transmission is around 191-201 degrees if I am not mistaken. I have the GMC Sierra 1500 SLT and sure would like to know where I could get a set of towing mirrors that you have on your truck... LOVE THEM!! Those holes for the rear camera mounted on rear of camper should be plugged with a rubber grommet to stop the moisture entering your RV because of delimitation in the interior of RV. Just a helpful tip.

That diesel just purrs down the highway. That 10 speed also seems to work well. Thanks for sharing!
