This is the best style of spearfishing video. The music compilations with no commentary suck compared to hearing what was going through your head while you’re doing it.
Wow Daniel.!!......1st off , you guys had some really precise shots in the vid. And 2nd......I just learned a lot on the "using sand and pounding rocks to attract fish " thing. Never thought about that!
Daniel, I love your videos. I really appreciate the way you talk about your trips in an intelligent and enthusiastic manner. Keep up the good work. And thanks for allowing me to live vicariously through your hunting.
well damn, i was gonna guess brownies lol also, great video. just found your channel a couple hours ago, and im hooked. i love this style of video. keep up the great work
Never would have guessed-fishhead soup was my first. I used to know a mate who loved lentils and to quote Kevin Bloody Wilson "Mick me mate was the Master Farter!!"
Amazing! Both, the throwback videos w/tips, also strait-up adventure videos. Best I've seen on UA-cam. Keep on posting, Can't get enough. I know you have a ton of Halibut, but I'm going to say you have some Mulloway on the cooker.
Really nice video... please post more and also comment the diving and spearfishing techniques, especially of the different species and how to catch them...excellent work
Impressive, since doing lots of snorkelling and scuba diving ( just Caribbean I'm afraid), I now wish to go further, I've always loved fishing and have done this many times in the Caribbean, but to pick your fish then shoot it , well that's on a whole new level for me , (new subscriber) kind regards from England .
Wow this really changed my outlook on spearfishing. I’m a fisherman, I love going out there and having to present a bait perfectly to get the fish to eat. I used to think spear fishing was about going down and sniping the fish. First of all, mad props on the conditioning to free dive like that, now for a week straight 🤯. Love the mindset of learning your fish and how to get the shot, and then marksmanship. Awesome video, I’m excited for more! Ps I’m gona guess based on what I’d really want to eat for the next few days; pasta with a garlic cream sauce and fresh fish
Frikken LOVE your content Dan I wish there was more of it. You're a total natural and I love how humble you are. This style of videography is unreal and motivates me so much to get in the water. I reckon you've got a juicy octopus softening up in that pot mate. Rock on !!!
Love this shoot and describe technique. Plenty more vids like this in the vault I can imagine ;) Thank you for posting and thanks Tim for showing your footage.
You’re my role model for spearfishing. Almost one year in and my personal best is 1 minuet in 15m water. Went Vic Tas and regularly spear at NSW, Qld is my next stop. Keep up the good work mate! I want to learn more from your videos!👍
Awesome vid Dan! Have been using your tips and bagged some decent West Aussie demersals as a result (last bag was a 68cm Dhuie and a 57cm Baldchin). Happy to watch whatever content you post. Keep it coming!
Daniel, loved the video and and style. The breakdown is really helpful and I've been wanting to get into the sport as well. Thanks for all the great info!
@@DanielMannHeya Daniel, I know you are allowed but there might be a closed season some months of the year . Just had a friend sail past there and they also went spearing this year
I'd love to take a wild guess at what's in the pot but I've never won anything like that in my life. Last month I bought six raffle tickets for a brand new Glock 48 and gave three to my oldest son and sure enough my phone went nuts the day of the drawing because I gave him the winning ticket. Another excellent job on the video as always! 👍🦈🐠🐟🐡
Jobfish! Anyway, I absolutely loved this video, would be great to see others similar! Techniques and knowledge of people from other parts of the world are great and inspiring💪🔥
Great video Daniel as always I enjoyed watching that look forward to whatever videos you have coming is always there always excellent thanks again Daniel for posting
Awesome video, got some great footage in there and the added tutorial works really well. You guys are really good spearos. And you look like you could be Peter Dinklage’s “bigger” brother. Looking forward to watching GoT!!!
Very nice style, belated response but very educational. Not sure what you were eating for dinner, but probably some form of seafood :) I’ll see if I can find a copy of the book somewhere, looks really useful..
@@DanielMann Ok, so not a chowder. My gut says a tomato based chili but I don't know if that is popular in the UK or not so probably a soup of some kind then. If I get a second guess then a Beef and barley type soup. lol Cheers mate
From watching your clips for the millionth time. I only now realised that Uku you stoned was just at the end of a single wrap.... Insane my friend! 🤯🤙 ( Time stamp was at 3:33 )
@@DanielMann I agree wholeheartedly. Takes patience and skill to wait for good fish to come close like that. I've more recently been a big advocate of single wrap here in Hawaii. I enjoy it and the ability to put heat on fish faster than they can run into the rocks is nice. 🤙🏾
Beard game is strong! Breakdown is good, could give you 3 videos from a diving trip instead of one in the future. Super inquisitive fish, that's surprising! Great video mate.
This is the best style of spearfishing video. The music compilations with no commentary suck compared to hearing what was going through your head while you’re doing it.
Thanks Matthew!

couldn't agree more
@@DanielMann Which harpune would you recommend to a semi Professional Person?
Definitely agree
Yew thanks for the mention Legend! Great vid, a lot of people would keep these tips secret but we appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
I tried to do the little banner link thing to your video but the new UA-cam studio is super confusing! I’ll have to try and work it out...
@@DanielMann Yer I just click the 'Creator Studio Classic' button bottom left to use the old one. The new layout is a pain in the ass!
Got the link working now 👌
Hahaha nice lads 👍🏾🔥 love both of your channels ♥🔥🤙🏾👌🏾🤘🏾
I wanna see more cleaning and processing of the fish after please
Best spearfishing video i've ever seen. That is how true spearfishing looks like for me! SICK!
And thanks for allowing me to live vicariously through your hunting.
the narration through the videos makes them unique and much more entertaining to watch rather than just music and fish getting shot. great work!
Thanks man!
Hello my friends, I followed a video, and you hunt shield fish, and I respect those who practice this hobby, it is the real pleasure for me.
Super video as always Daniel! Keep up the good work
I started spear fishing because of your vids... no looking back. I'm 3 weeks in 6 shots 5 fish 3 mullet and 2 bass... epic
Best spearfishing videos. Helpful, not narcissistic. I have not seen others being good at breaking down technique and experiences.
Mystery pot is LENTIL SOUP! Congrats to 'Pro 123' for winning the book.
well damn, i was gonna guess brownies lol
also, great video. just found your channel a couple hours ago, and im hooked.
i love this style of video.
keep up the great work
Thanks man, welcome to the channel 💪
I found ur channel a bit late 😂🤧

Love your videos. Greetings from Philippines.😘
I listened to the 99 tips book at work. Very helpful and easy to digest.
One of few spearfishing channel to provide insights. Love the commentary! Keep it up man
Got to provide something other than entertainment every now and then :)
you know why i like your channel, because you don't catch and release, you fish to eat it,much respect
The talk through and tips through the hunting is the best
Amazing! Both, the throwback videos w/tips, also strait-up adventure videos. Best I've seen on UA-cam. Keep on posting, Can't get enough. I know you have a ton of Halibut, but I'm going to say you have some Mulloway on the cooker.
Thanks Russell, no mulloway in that pot. Haven’t shot one since 2015!
Are you cooking halibut?😂😂 The commentary is part of what makes your videos so great👌
Aldo Gjipali lol you mean Halibooooooooooot!!
😂😂
You should hit up YBS *brodie moss* and head over to the western Australian coast
Reiiqx definitely
Yes yes yes! Id watch the shit out of that

Where in WA does brodie to most of his spear fishing?
Really nice video... please post more and also comment the diving and spearfishing techniques, especially of the different species and how to catch them...excellent work

Great video! Looks like an unforgettable spearfishing trip
Awesome, educational, good story telling....more abt culture, team diving, breathing, equipment, boats etc. thks for the video.

Nice stuff Dan. Love the first few fish you shot, they just fell. As for what your cooking HALLLIBUUTTTTTTTTTTT
Cheers Gordy, it was just a boring lentil soup. Getting into any of the kingfish over summer?

Awsome video man as usual. If you got more tricks up your sleeve make sure to do another video cuz it is really interesting❤️
Love the vids with the commentary. Shot on the long nosed was awesome. Good stuff. As for dinner I'd guess a nice chowder.

Good style of video, very entertaining and full of sick info!
Would love to learn more about breath-holding and perhaps the psychological factors to breath holding / diving / spear fishing! Great videos
Keep doing what your doing......awesum stuff
From watching your clips for the millionth time. I only now realised that Uku you stoned was just at the end of a single wrap.... Insane my friend! 🤯🤙 ( Time stamp was at 3:33 )
I’ve always used a single wrap in Australia and this Tonga trip. If you have a double the fish have too much time to get to the bottom.
@@DanielMann I agree wholeheartedly. Takes patience and skill to wait for good fish to come close like that. I've more recently been a big advocate of single wrap here in Hawaii. I enjoy it and the ability to put heat on fish faster than they can run into the rocks is nice. 🤙🏾
