The new Transporter HQ centre console chiller is finally here! These are designed to fit any Transporter, T5 to T6.1 with 2 single front seats.
We've packed as much as we can in to this, features include:-
Nappa leather double opening armrest cover
Push button opening storage under the arm rest
Internal USB and USB-C charging sockets and light switch
2 cup holders with switchable LED lighting
Top mounted wireless charger
front pen / sunglass storage tray
5 litre built in fridge (fridge model only, none fridge model has a storage cupboard here
Rear USB and USB-C charge sockets from passengers
Rear phone slot storage while charging
Digital control panel (Fridge version only)
This T5, T5.1, T6 and T6.1 centre console and chiller, really does add that missing bit of luxury to your Transporter.

Fail if it doesn’t fit swivels as majority have them ..!!
@@linoleumbonypart385 how is it a fail? It obviously wouldn't be possible to make anything that would work with swivels. The seats use that space when spinning. Are you suggesting we shouldn't have made it because most people have swivels? I don't in either on my vans. Neither would a Kombi, Caravelle or shuttle 🤷🏻♂️
@@THQAutomotive mines a caravelle and has swivels…most camper conversions add swivels
@@linoleumbonypart385 but not every van is a camper. We can't make something in this space for a camper, it's needed for swivel of the seats. That doesn't mean it's a fail though surely? it just means it's for all those people that don't use their vans as campers... like me.
Will it fit in a van that has swivel bases? My intention would obviously be not to swivel the seats and benefit from the fridge.
@@chriswalsh7346 it would fit yes, but the seats wouldn't swivel as they need that space to move in.
Does it work with swivel bases? Nice if it was on runners to slide back.

Is it a fridge as in compressor fridge or a cooler as in a fan runs constantly draining the battery
It's a cool, but is only draining the battery when on, so the vehicle would be running anyway. Most will likely wire it up to an ignition live.
Would love this in my works van, shame the fridge wouldn’t work with a bulkhead
Yes they aren't designed for bulk head vans. There is no way around it I'm afraid

We tried to get in as much as we can, but couldn't do that without them being fragile.

Is the fridge a compressor fridge or just a cooler?
This one is a cooler style fridge. We actually have a sample compressor fridge to try that will be going in my dream build

It's possibly but it would require dismantling part of the unit.

You'd need to check your swivel. Try your seat and see if it moves into this space.

We are going to look into make the plate release for swivel bases in the future.
How much can you actually put in the fridge? It seems to show 3 cans.
That's not a great image to be fair. It's a decent size at 5 litres. It's deeper than a can.

Does it come with USB C , or it will come with the outdated USB connectors?
It has both USB and USB-C in the arm rest storage and in the back of the unit.

DK Schweizer just up the road from me I’ve used them and can highly recommend 😎. Love this concept with the fridge built in the centre console. I have a centre console which I find very useful but this is next level ! My only concern is that the fridge is only accessible from the rear seats. If the armrest slides back to access the fridge aswell that would be the perfect design. I await the price ?
@@danielwood5334 it's easy to reach around. I'm afraid we can't add that feature. The storage cupboard could get damp and affect the electrics if there was access there. These are available now and for sale on our website. Link in the description.

It is too big for t6 California or any bus with swivels. Nice gadget for multivan or transporter.
Yes it's design for multivan, kombi, shuttle, panel van etc. Not for swivel seats.
