Whatever Fender pays Shane, it's not enough--great guitar player, super knowledgeable, and a great speaker/demonstrator. I know everyone thinks they can do all 3, but they can't. Thank you for reissuing the tweed Pro--the ultimate jazz amp IMHO.
My friend was clearing out his grandpas garage and found a original 57 fender champ amp. He called me and gave it to me for free! He is so awesome for giving it to me and i absolutely love that amp.
Killing my wallet ! Yes those amps are badass, but I can have one made the old-school way (hand wired) with an ALNICO speaker and all for under $700.00 so I don't see me getting one of these any time soon.
I like these amps, but something is bothering me. I have a 2014 5 watt hand wired lacquered tweed Fender Vibro-Champ that has built in tube tremolo and it was $999 or the same price as the new Champ that comes without the tube tremolo. Actually they removed the tube tremolo across the board on all these amps but kept the price the same. This bothers me. So I won't be getting any of them. The tube tremolo is wonderfull and is the best feature of my 5 watt Fender hand wired lacquered tweed Vibro-Champ.
Fender is my favorite . I get the best tone from a fender amp . I can even get metal tones . I'm not talking about Skunky Baxter heavy metal tones lol I'm talking true heavy metal . Skunk is great btw
I have had great luck with Fender guitars Even the ones from Mexico. They have always come set up and built perfect. Gibson is the other story. I wish Gibson would use maple necks it seem more stable.
They do. I have one. Called. Raw power the whole guitar is made out of maple. It's pretty heavy with a maple fretboard as well. They made a few of the reissued raw power guitars in the early 2000,$. Or so. All maple guitar like Les originally wanted no binding .. gold top in color was the only color it came in with a maple fretboard and neck as I spoke of.
Damn it.....I like that Deluxe. So much for my kid's braces.

Where?
Mr. mips I broke down and did the 12 month payment plan on the deluxe. Worth it!
aunt jenifer good more for me!!
Word on the mean streets of Bend, Oregon is that these are quite good.
We would not know by this demo
looks like one of the old adverts with all the tweeds laying in line.
If the amp is right there, and you're plugged into it, I'd like to hear the amp more than a description of the amp.
Still waiting for BROWNFACE reissues ... GOOD ones that I can afford.
6.20 Zoot Allures ... yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3:17 you know she wanted to start shaking it :D
With that '57 custom deluxe he goes from perfect ZZ top tones to smooth jazz to Tom Petty in about 5 seconds. must be some sort of trickery..
Zoot Allures! 6:16
2 notes per amp is not enough to get my interest but i do love my old Champ

ANsOn II Gibson doesn’t use maple necks because they suck!!

They all sound like a Fender amp to me.
I wonder how many of these amps actually sell with that price.
9iovanni 9iovanni I have the champ. It was a little high price wise but it’s a great amp.
Six years later they are still available, I guess they are selling.
$2,500 for a '57 Custom Pro?
How much ribbon cable is inside the chassis?
zero
Not A bad tone among them
Deluxe for me
Would a reissue be better or a Victoria clone?
Victoria. I have the Bassman, it's really amazing.
Victoria is more true to the vintage . From the wiring to the wood .
Clone !
What? No Bassman?
The classic bassman is 59 not 57
The 4x10 I s available now, but what I would like to have is the head...ab 165. Izzy used one on appetite, and mike ness uses one.
This interviewer needs to be doing something else because apparently he can't even pretend to be interested in his job.
Does the interviewer even LIKE guitar? He looks so detached and bored.
Player keeps repeating himself over n over n over n over, monotonous dude!
