The rant about “if you weren’t at work, what would you use your time for” resonates with me because I’ve been working for almost seven years full time and I just see that work steals your life and your ability to do anything. By the time you’re retired, you may as well be dead, because now you’re a decrepit wreck who can’t do anything any longer.
If you weren’t working, you’d be LIVING. You’d be doing what YOU want, when and how you’d want to do it. It may not be profound, but it’s what you want to do, and that’s something you should treasure.
I don't know though. I love to work, even in shitty service jobs. Having that purpose is what really keeps me going.
Completely agree with you on the growing old though, I don't want to live through dementia or being unable to dress myself etc.
I've been unemployed for 10 years (I'm 64) & my guilty secret is I'm very very happy!
Much appreciated. Not just recycled TRGS material but a compilation of more obscure Karlisms. Excellent!
Absolute drivel and I love it

2020, what a year.
Siamese twins separated, now less near.
I love you Yak. By far the best Karl compilations on UA-cam.
Thats all they draw in caves
@@miagidanielson650 it's always a Yak
Sooo refreshing to hear new content
31:20 I wonder if he’s bought a dead owl...🦉

This is BRILLIANT
Thanks again for the upload old friend.
I LOVE Mr. K Dilkington
Love karl
Craig's interviews were great. Those two could do a podcast. He's a nice, humble bloke in the same way Karl is.
You prolly dont give a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. I've been streaming with my gf recently xD
@Gerald Tyler Yup, I have been using InstaFlixxer for years myself :D
@Gerald Tyler Definitely, I've been using instaflixxer for years myself :D

Haven't heard so much of this. Cheers
That Homer bit was actually surprisingly profound
Two words: Yak roolz. 🤘
Is that Dr Foxy is the beginning?!
Nematodes 😂
I'm pretty sure most of these clips, Karl is being interviewed by Zippy from Rainbow!!!
Now you've said it, I can't unhear it
It’s just various talk show hosts, yeah? Definitely heard Jonathan Ross in there somewhere.
@@Wackyfox the one he's referring too is from Karls appearance on the Two Shot podcast, and the fella that hosts it really does sound like zippy.
I think it’s the fella who played Dot Cottan in Line of Duty. His name escapes me…
Who is the man at the beginning with Karl, and is he the owl narrator who tells the story of the lost Prince Rilian from the BBC production of the Silver Chair?
Think it’s dermot O’Leary
I have music instruments, gardening, movies, tv, exercise bike, sewing, video games, fixing up my house, I used to have a dog but she died, I find it pretty easy to keep busy
Who is the fella doing the interviewing?
Craig Parkinson
Dang nematodes
Yes Pliky 👍
