“There’s only one man who can help me.” Such a great moment.
People in the theater cheered at that line. :)
That’s Elijah Wood of Lord Of The Rings at 8:47
@@trevoncarter4861 lol he’s so little! 😂 ❤
@@trevoncarter4861 "You mean you have to use your hands?!" "Looks like a baby's toy!"
And the music right after he says that!!! ❤
So much respect for the actor who plays Biff playing so many versions of the same character it's gold
I know, he's actually a real sweetheart at the conventions, etc.
Dude showed some fun range. He is great.
He has a UA-cam channel
His stand up song is hilarious
He also voice different versions of the same character in the animated series.
Tom Wilson should have won so many awards for his performances in this trilogy. He is absolutely beyond compare.
Absolutely! He did a nice job on "Freaks and Geeks" too, at least in one episode as a gym teacher. I'd have liked to seen him in more roles.
2&3 were shot back to back- I’d love y’all to finish the trilogy sooner rather than later!
They were filmed at the same time actually.
Actually, number 3 was filmed while the futuristic sets and the alternate 1985 sets for part 2 were being constructed.
Huey Lewis was one of the judges when Marty was auditioning to play, and was the one with who said Marty’s music was “ too darn loud.” He wrote the song “Power of Love” used for the opening of the first film.
It's also what Marty's band plays at the audition.
I've heard that Huey Lewis was told that very same line (you're too darn loud) when he auditioned for something. School dance possibly?
@@THOMMGB yes, I read that somewhere. Seems probable.
Amber, the audition was early in the first film.
If you guys had watched these two closer together, you would have realized the cafe scene and hoverboard scenes are almost identical. It's the idea that history repeats itself
Except when it comes to who's cast as Jennifer 😄
@@neural_jam 😂
And also Griff and his mates have cyborg implants. That's why he speaks weird.
And in every movie Biff gets manure dumped on him... 😝 Couldn't happen to a nicer guy...
@@neural_jam and his dad... No Chrispin Glover apart from the original scenes!
Tom Wilson who played Biff is actually a pretty nice guy. He turned in a fantastic performance in these movies not least the third one. That character could have been a great serious villain in a dramatic Western! I've always thought that there should be an Oscar category for comedic acting and Tom Wilson should have gotten one for that!
Thomas F. Wilson (Biff) is a comedian in real life and is actually the nicest guy you can imagine. Biff was so outside of his normal character, that he had a hard time playing him. He apologized profusely to Lea Thompson (Lorraine) for "manhandling" and being so crude to her. There are plenty of interviews with Thomas and Lea where they touch on that.
He plays the character so damn good
@@J_Nephilim well* yes.
One of the kids who was trying to play Wild Gunman in the Cafe 80s was a really young Elijah Wood, who played Frodo in the Lord of the Rings he was the one that said "you have to use your hands?!"
I highly recommend "Who framed Roger Rabbit". It's also from Robert Zemeckis and with Christopher Lloyd.
I was thinking of recommending that movie a few days ago. The animation/live-action technology used in it lead to the Space Jam movies and it is a great movie.
Absolutely
Excellent suggestion!
Yes, a thousand times, yes!! They would love "Roger Rabbit" and it is a genuine masterpiece of a movie. ❤❤❤
I met Kathleen Turner about a year ago and blushed when she said hi to me. It's friggin Jessica Rabbit lol
This film was released in theaters in November 1989 and BACK TO THE FUTURE PART III was released in May 1990, just six months later.
Really looking forward to your reactions to Part III! It’s a Western but it’s also a science fiction fantasy comedy and it’s quite marvelously told.
Yeah, I saw them both in the cinema. It was a big deal that they made sequels.
Now filming movies back to back(no pun intended) is the norm.
@andrewgrove1691 and most of the films nowadays have shit sequels, this was just suchba special trilogy, I wish we got just one more maybe, but man I really hope they don't make a remake of this classic because it would just ruin the franchise, some things shoukd never be touched tbh
I love it when she said, I wonder if they’re popular because of this movie…… They only exist because of this movie! They were designed for the movie and years later released as a real shoe
I liked when Amber wondered if the Max Headroom version of Ronald Reagan in the 2015 diner was Marty's dad, lol. It's funny how faces that are iconic to one generation are "just some rando" to later generations. I spent a couple of years as an assistant in a high school History class and, to the kids, so many rich, famous, and/or powerful people from the past are just "some old white guy." And, in one class, before we started the chapters on WWII, they only knew Hitler as "the guy with the funny moustache."
Moments like that always remind me of the poem, "Ozymandias" by Percy Bysshe Shelley. "Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!"
Same with clogs from the movie Idiocracy!
Same with the stupid version of "Hoverboard" we got. Where do you think they got the name from?
You guys are getting so popular! Met some fellow parents at a kid's pool party yesterday that were also subscribed to your music reaction channel! We had a great time chatting about how much we love your positive vibes. Lots of love from Los Angeles! 🌴🙌
I got my mom to subscribe after sending her a reaction, lol.
Sending even more love from Los Angeles!!! 🐚🌊
The 3rd act of this movie is some of the best movie-making of the '80s.
Finally! You reacted to the original 11 months ago and then just seemed to forget all about one of the greatest trilogies in film history! So glad you're coming back to these classic movies.
There's quite a dark realisation if you analyse the rooftop scene - Doc Brown had no way of knowing they'd be there, the only way he would have known is if Marty had actually been killed either by Biff shooting him or if he'd jumped, the Doc finding out about it and then travelling back in time to be there to rescue him o_O
There's another fan theory about him dying at another point in the movie but I can't remember what it is..!
Sorry to darken things lol
Ready for #3! This was fun one. Hadn't seen it in a while.
One of the greatest movie trilogies ever
It is so hard to believe that we are beyond the future now. It is making me feel old. I saw both of these movies in the theater when they came out.
The reason Biff was suffering in pain after time traveling is because of a deleted scene. When Biff went back in time and changed the future, he didnt live into 2015. Lorraine found out it was Biff who shot George and she got his gun and shot him in 1995. So hes feeling the gunshot wound from 20 years ago. He was supposed to fall and disappear in mid air, but test audiences thought the scene was too dark for this film.
They messed up their own internal logic.
Old Biff should not have been able to return to "his" 2015 after giving himself the book, as he would have been stuck in the same situation Doc explained to Marty when they returned to rich Biff's 1985.
Also news headlines and the matchbook cover changed pretty much instantaneously after the almanac was destroyed, yet Marty was able to run around for a week in the original movie.
Even the deleted scene had Biff vanishing shortly after returning.
I find it ironic test audiences though Biff vanishing was too dark, but sexual assault in the first movie was ok...
@@Cheepchipsable Nah, it's par for the course. Man dying = bad, woman being r*ped = entertainment.
1:29 This is not “a Spielberg movie,” as such. He was executive producer, yes, and his company Amblin’ Entertainment was the production company, and Steven himself was certainly involved in the creation of the film series, but all three of these films are Robert Zemeckis films. Bob Zemeckis and Bob Gale were the two men most directly responsible for these movies. They were the ones who thought it up and brought it to Spielberg after shopping it all around Hollywood and getting turned down. Spielberg was certainly fundamental in making sure it got made, but it wasn’t his thing from the get-go. He had worked with Zemeckis and Gale previously so he knew them and was friends with both men, but please, give credit where it’s due: Robert Zemeckis, the director and co-writer, and Bob Gale, the writer. This is their film series.
eh. Semantics. It's not a Spielberg directed movie, yes, but it's damn near synonymous with him. I would also consider the Bay-verse Transformers as Spielberg movies, since he had a direct hand getting that franchise started.
Nice watching this today on Michael J. Fox's Birthday.
In the first movie, Huey Lewis was the teacher (in glasses) auditioning the acts for the "Battle of the Bands". He told Marty's band they were just "too darn loud". 😆
Needles is played by Flea, the bassist for Red Hot Chili Peppers.
This was the PERFECT trilogy of movies. And we had no idea there was going to be three of them.
Needles is played by Flea from Red Hot Chile Peppers. BTW the 3rd film has a ZZ Top cameo.
Happy Birthday to Michael J Fox! Such a GEM of an actor - one of Canada's very best. Besides BTTF - The Secret of My Success if my top favourite Michael movie. Would LOVE to see you react to it. Very funny - with an amazing soundtrack. Many songs produced by David Foster - one of Canada's top music producers.
Part II and III were filmed at the same time, that's why they were able to put the trailer for Part III at the end.
Non spoiler trivia: The band you saw very briefly in the trailer was ZZ Top, who did the music for Part III
Love the reaction. But it's frustrating when people get excited at the sight of Steven Spielberg's name yet ignore the film's director, Robert Zemeckis. Spielberg was the producer, but it was Zemeckis and his screenwriting partner, Bob Gale, who are ultimately the reason for the BTTF trilogy's success.
Spielberg tended to back winners, so there is that association there, but Zemeckis did a lot of great movies.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit would be a good one for them to react to.
Literally nothing to get frustrated or upset about 😅
They correctly predicted flat-screen TVs.
When you realise that this movie is now over 30 years old it's great to see you enjoy it so much. Look forward to watching you watch the third instalment. Watch for a band you may recognise
Over 30? Try almost 40 years old. We're not far off, 2025. Man thats just crazy ya know 😮.
If you want to feel old, just realize that the entire trilogy now takes place in the past.
Part 3 is great! And a great conclusion to the trilogy. You guys willl love it!
Jennifer if you hadn't noticed was played by Elizabeth Shue in this movie. If you ever want to see a fun 80s adventure comedy with her starring in it, try "Adventures in Babysitting".
Nobody leaves without singing the blues.
Thor!!
Love Adventures in Babysitting. I’ll only watch the original. Will never see the remake that was done a few years ago.
Loved her in that movie. Also enjoyed her in Karate Kid.
@@christinahilt2978 Another great “trilogy” they should watch. 80’s movies rocked.
Amber, you're right about Huey Lewis being in the first one
But in case I misinterpreted your meaning, he wasn't in the Dance scene he was the judge at Marty's audition for the 1985 dance that said he's "just too darn loud" and shattered his confidence
Good memory though
Speaking of Huey Lewis, listen to "Back in Time" from him and the News PLEASE!
And the song he said was too darn loud was an instrumental of Power of Love which is of course the main song from the movie and performed by Huey Lewis and the News.
@@daverhoden445 yep
For people that don't know when Marty goes into the cafe 80's Michael Jackson and Ronald Reagan was max headroom which was an American series back in the 80's..max headroom was Matt frewer who you may have seen in honey I shrunk the kids and lawnmower man 2:beyond cyberspace and other movies!
The funny bit about Reagan being Max Headroom in this is that in the Doonesbury comic strip series, back in the '80s, Trudeau conceptualizes Reagan as Headroom. I wonder if it's a coincidence.
As I'm sure others will say Parts two and three were filmed consecutively. They didn't originally plan to make sequels, the "to be continued" in the first film was meant as a joke.
The films were released 6 months apart so that's why you get a teaser trailer at the end of this movie, which gets you excited for the next one.
I'm really glad that you guys watched it since a lot of people recommend not to watch it cuz they think it's spoiler. If you had gone to see part two in the theater you would have seen the trailer just like that at the end of the movie so how is it a spoiler. It just shows them in the West.
P.S. Rewatch the ZZ Top Legs video before you watch part 3, if possible.
"To Be Continued" was not featured on the original prints of the first film; it was added to the subsequent video masters later once the sequels had been announced.
Yes!
They had a great idea for a sequel to the original but it didn't involve Jennifer, but thay had to include her because she was in the car at the end of the first movie. That's why she spends most of this movie passed out.
The part of Needles, the guy that gets older Marty fired from his job, was played by Flea, the bassist for Red Hot Chili Peppers.
An old comedy you two would like stars Jimmy Stewart ("It's a Wonderful Life") in "Harvey". It's a family friendly movie from the 40's.
1950, technically, but you’re close.
I'd have gone with Arsenic and Old Lace.
Jay and Amber. FYI - the character "Needles" is Flea from The Red Hot Chili Peppers. You'll see him again in BTTF 3
This is a unique trilogy in the sense that they all revolve around Marty at the center of course, but part 1 is essentially George McFly's story, part 2 is Biff's and part 3 is Doc's. Love them all but I think part 2 is my favorite!
Guys, I'm crying tears of joy right now because y'all watched the preview for part 3! That's how I experienced it on vhs, and that's how everyone should experience it. A lot of reactors are like, "Oh no, spoilers!" And stop watching when they see 'to be concluded'
The preview was included in theaters, too.
@@StevarooniAgreed. Seeing it in the theater on opening weekend was how to see it! Especially after waiting years after the first movie. The audience went insane!
Appreciate your reactions to this great movie and amazing trilogy! Amber mentioned at one point when Biff was being all cringe and creepy to Lorraine in the street, talking about her becoming his wife one day, she mentioned that she should get a restraining order... I just wanted to point out that restraining and protection orders did not come about until the 1970's... Let's just say it was a different time. Great movie and great reaction... Looking forward to the next one!
But at the time, a guy who creeped on a girl in public could expect a visit in a dark alley by the girl's male relatives.
For example: In 1974, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) prohibited discrimination against credit applicants based on gender, among other factors. For the first time, women could own a credit card in their own name.
@@Stevarooni There's actually a couple deleted scenes that show the burned down school of Biff's Alternate timeline and even a shot of old Biff fading after breaking his cane and falling behind that dumpster in 2015. Though... I would have thought being approached in a dark alley was more of an 80's thing than a 50's... I wouldn't know for sure since I wasn't around until the 80's. However... in the end Biff receives his due punishment for being a jerk.
@@treetopjones737 Excellent example. It goes to show that society has advanced somewhat since that time. At least in some small ways.
And it doesn't do much good to have them now.
⏳🕰⌛This one is really good, but Part III is my favorite! Tom Wilson (Biff & Griff) does a great job playing both parts!
Billy Zane played Griff.
@@MissouriJohnson Billy Zane played 'Match' in Back to the Future 1 & 2 as one of Biff's buddies - He was not in 3 - He also played Cal (Rose's fiancé) in Titanic -Tom Wilson was in all 3 BTTF movies 😁
@@megdelaney3677 Your right, my mistake.
"Earth Angel" was a 1954 song by The Penguins that you guys reacted to awhile ago. By the way, New Edition did their own rendition of that classic song on their 1986 album title, "Under the Blue Moon". It was featured in the film, "The Karate Kid II" that same year.
I hope you guys won't wait another 11 months for the next installment since they just move on with the story from one movie to the other (like Lord of the Rings), they're better being watched one after the other. Another great reaction, keep it up.
Speaking of Lord of the Rings, one of the kids in the nostalgic restaurant playing the video game was Elijah Woods! I think it was his first movie.
We had to wait 4 years.
In 2015, one of the little kids at the Wild Gunman video game was Elijah Wood, who played Frodo Baggins.
How did you guys not recognize Frodo Baggins in Café 80s 😵💫
(the little kid)
Loved watching this in the theater when it first came out. Fun fact, Thomas F Wilson who plays Biff is actually known as one of the nicest guys ever in real life. He didn't do a lot of acting afterwards but if you've seen The Heat with Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock he plays Melissa McCarthy's completely whipped police chief boss!! Thanks for the reaction...now onto part III.
Props to Thomas Wilson for giving us "Biff". Being a stand-up comedian and also having been bullied at school, he was able to create a character who was both despicable as well as being a buffoon. The original line for Biff was "make like a tree and leave", but Thomas said no way would a guy like Biff be that smart, so he improvised "make like a tree and get out of here" which stuck. Butthead was also his improv, as well as calling George "Irish Bug".
Thomas also performs a hilarious song he wrote called "The Question Song" after he got tired of people asking him the same questions over and over.
I think we can all agree you need to see Clint Eastwood's "Fist Full Of Dollars" to really appreciate the third movie.
Nah. Not the whole movie...I always got the reference, but my Dad watched Clint Eastwood stuff when I was little. I've watched this many times, but I just today caught that Marty and Doc had it on the TV in this one. I always find something new on rewatch. Love these movies.
@@goldilox369 I kind of also think the Sergio Leone Trilogy is must watch viewing just because of the affect that style had on movies afterwards. I did find it interesting the "Easter Egg" made it into the review. It's interesting when first time reviewers accidentally include key details that payoff later like that. I'm watching a first time review of "The Wire" and it's interesting when they accidentally notice key details it took me ten rewatches to notice. That said I do wish they would go hard on "Pride" themed movies this month. It would be a good excuse to do some of those Biopics about Queen and Elton John.
@@josiahalcorne Eh.... Maybe just to watch those biopics, but if you've been paying attention, they're both kinda religious and probably want to keep those heated discussions off their page. They probably keep those beliefs close to their chests, while still professing their faith in their actions.
@@mhill781 I have noticed that they are on the religious side and I understand the reluctance to tackle divisive topics on their platform. Maybe "Brokeback Mountain" isn't the best choice but "Philidelphia" or "The Birdcage" wouldn't stir up much controversy. As music enthusiasts "Rocky Horror Picture Show" would be an interesting review. While "Tangerine" isn't for everyone, the fact it was shot entirely on I-Phone makes it worth a watch.
@@josiahalcorne The Birdcage is absolutely hilarious, just to see the chemistry between Robin Williams, Hank Azaria and Nathan Lane all playing their brand of humor against one another and in unison.
Since they've done reactions to Meat Loaf, they would love Rocky Horror. RHPS would be a Halloween watch I think.
I recommend The Sandlot. Keep up the good work, you two!
Fun fact the little kid standing next to the boy that said wild gunman is a baby's toy is Elijah Wood the actor that will played frodo baggins the Lord of the rings trilogy
Amber, yes Huey Lewis was in the first movie but not the school dance scene as you mentioned. Actually he was in the very beginning of the movie when Marty was auditioning on stage and Huey, as one of the four judges, stands up with a megaphone and says, “You’re just to darn loud”.
I like 1 and 3 better but 2 is still a great movie. One of the all-time best trilogies.
2 is an essential bridge... but 1 and 3 are better. I personally love 3 the most.
@@toxicginger9936 I saw 3 first, in it's debut on broadcast TV and it sits somewhere in my top 10 all time, but the first one is perfection squared. Number one of all time. Two is still great, but the weakest of the 3 imo.
@@toxicginger9936 Yeah, but it's kind of been-there-done-that feel to it.
Fun fact, the movie predicted Miami MLB team wins the World Series. There wasn’t a Miami baseball team at the time. Then they became a real MLB team and won the World Series. 👀
It was Miami in the World Series, but the Cubs winning. Honestly, I'm not that blown away by the Miami prediction, since by the time this movie was produced MLB expansion was clearly inevitable and Miami was a very, very likely destination for a team, which became reality just four years after this movie came out. The real wicked part was predicting the Cubs finally breaking the curse just a year off the real-life event.
@@jawbone78 that’s true.
They were a year off though ..Cubs won the world series in 2016
You guys should listen to the theorys of how many times Marty died and doc went back in time and restart. That's why he's always there at the perfect time. It's crazy when you think about it
Trivia:
Actor Crispin Glover (George McFly) didn't want to be in this sequel because he hated the script; but then he sued Universal and Amblin Studios for violating his publicity rights, because they used a look-alike actor (Jeffrey Weissman) to play him in the 2015 scenes, and a few of the 1985 reshot scenes. They put prosthetics on his face, taken from molds cast of Glover's face during the first film, to make Weissman look more like Crispin Glover's George McFly character. Glover couldn't do anything about the stock footage images they had already shot from the first film, but he charged that the filmmakers had no right to fabricate his image in newly shot scenes in this sequel without his permission, and of course without paying him. I believe Glover and his attorney settled with the studios for a sum of around $760,000.
This vid should get a billion views! So great that you're back to this franchise... can't wait to see what you think of this one!
It won't get anywhere near that nor do they deserve anywhere near that, not for cheap lazy reaction content.
I could have sworn you reacted to part 2 already. I've been waiting and waiting for you to watch BTTF III. I think someone went back and altered the timeline, creating this skewed version of 2023
Fun Fact: Marty's Daughter in the future is actually Michael J Fox all dressed up.
1. Patch Adams,
2. Never Ending Story
3. Men of Honor
To this day, this is the movie that has one of the most accurate predictions of the future there is in movies and the reason they achieved that is that they turned their vision of the future into one big joke. Says a lot.
Thank you for watching another classic from my misspent youth. Number 3 is a fun movie and know you'll see it when you have a chance. Another movie that I think you will enjoy is "The Gods Must be Crazy" (1980), and one of Personal Favorites "Stripes" (1981) staring Bill Murray & Harrold Ramis. Have a great weekend and thanks for the smiles.
Excellent choices!!!! No one I know has seen The Gods Must be Crazy, but I always loved it.
The Back to the Future trilogy are legendary classics.
If you like this trilogy, pretty sure you will also love "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure".
Actually Rob, the Chicago Cubs won the World Series in 2015, the same year in this movie. So many pundits gave this movie credit for predicting that and other moments in history, although they haven't happened yet.
And to think Miami didn't yet have a team in 1989 when this film was released.
Such a great trilogy and so much fun... tough to beat Spielberg and Zemeckis! Looking forward to you enjoying Part 3!
oh yea!! The Lady and the 'Crock Pot' ...
Thomas F Wilson (Biff) is such a nice guy in real life. Thats how good an actor he is.❤🎬
I absolutely adore these movies! They were my favorite as a kid, and still my favorite even now. My kids love them too. Every now and then on a rainy day we have a Back To The Future day and watch them all. Good times!
I love that Flea from the red hot chilli peppers played needles.
Thomas F. Wilson who plays Biff, Griff and Maddog Tannen is the person who carries these films. Without him they would not be half as good. Phenomenal acting
The actor who plays Biff is Thomas Wilson and he is the nicest guy! It shows how good of an actor he is.
My wife and I are both teachers too (in Ky.). You 2 are so great, we love seeing you discover what we've loved for years. We're late 40's and early 50's. Have 2 young daughters also. Keep up the great stuff. GOD BLESS.
Happy 62nd birthday to Michael J. Fox!
I loved this one! I can't wait for you two to watch part 3. Its fantastic!❤
Glad to see you were as excited watching this as I was years ago. Awesome trilogy!!
Look forward to Part III
Here's a detail that many miss: Biff's hotel/casino is built on the exact spot where the clock tower was.
Can't wait for you to do Part 3! In my opinion it is the best movie in the series!
Time travel is scientifically possible, but ridiculously hard to do.
DAMN! I'm super excited for your Part 3 reaction. I feel like I'm time-traveling when I first watched these. 157 years ago.
Not sure if you noticed, but Frodo Baggins himself, Elijah Wood, was one of the kids in the ‘80s cafe.
So glad you guys got back to these movies. Some of my favourite parts of this one was when they revisited scenes from the first one. Really looking forward to the reaction to number 3!
Still waiting on y'all yo do part 3! Give the people what they want!😂
24:38 “They declared him a Crockpot!” lol 😂
It's very interesting to see reactors that keep talking to each other and not looking at screen, while the movie goes on. Brilliant!
Finally we get back to the greatest trilogy of all time!
The Jaws 19 easter egg was a mocking jab at the efforts of movie producers trying to make a Jaws movie just as good as the first one, WITHOUT having Steven Spielberg in the director's chair and 2, 3 and unfortunately, 4 were NOT good like the first one
Plus, one of Steven's sons, Max, was the director for Jaws 19, it was on that marquee display where the "fake" shark came out and "ate" Marty
I absolutely LOVE the predictions this movie makes about 2015. Flying cars, hoverboards… but also, everyone still using fax machines 😂😂😂
That “What the hell is that?!” will always be my favorite scene. 😂
The biggest twist was J audibly upset as Marty started to burn the sports almanac and us along with Amber finding out he wasn't upset over all the discord and dysfunction the book caused, but that Marty was actually destroying the almanac. Lol. Then J going through the 5 stages of grief to rationalize everything was comedy gold. J's closing argument for his case that compared to what Biff does, his alternate timeline wouldn't be 'that bad.' lol. The defense rests, your honor.
I'll be a character witness for you J and take this a step in the other direction. If the sports almanac and time machine wound up in your hands, the alternative timeline you created would actually be a better best case scenario place.
Peace out, love y'all guys, thanks for the content. 🤙😀
I'm with J on that. Keep a page or at least half a page!
@@darthken815 Actually each time he bet on one game & won could domino and affect others. Winning big could bankrupt whoever took his bet. Also knowing all the lottery numbers and winning will domino and affect the next jackpot cuz he changed the winner(s) Again will either bankrupt the lottery if he plays more than once. Same with buying up all or most of Apple stock too. Every change that happens may go a different way than it was supposed to therefore making the almanac useless. I say make one big bet or investment or play just one big lottery. But he’d have to live with the consequences of taking someone else’s fortune and changing all the lives of all the people that winner helped. Could be a disaster, especially if that person created, invented or invested in something that changed the world.
If you were smart, you would make smaller bets, but consistent wins over a longer period of time.
Taking a few hundred thousand out of the betting pool over the year doing say 300 bets would probably not have a huge effect it you wanted the second 1985 time line.
Doing a number of large bets and huge wins would effect the way things work as a whole, and probably ruin future gambling outcomes, since the gambling industry would change tactics to recover from a consistent big winner, not to mention some of those horse owners and betting companies, (who would have had a stake in some of those future events, etc), may go bankrupt from losing and having to pay out.
@@FEARNoMore I don't think that the almanac would ever become useless. Even if your actions caused the outcomes of games or lotteries to change, the almanac would simply "update" itself just like the newspapers did.
You'd only be screwed if gambling itself was banned. And what was one of the first things Biff did once he got power? Legalize gambling!
Great reaction guys I recommend Who Framed Roger Rabbit which was directed by Robert Zemeckis with Christoper Lloyd and released in 1988 a year before Back To The Future Part II keep up the great work guys
I like how no matter WHAT timeline theyre in, Uncle Joey is always in jail 😂😂
The old guy Terry who wishes he could go back and put money on the Cubs is Charles Fleischer, the voice of Roger Rabbit. He's also the mechanic who charges Biff $300 to clean the manure out his car.
Great reaction guys!! I hope you don't wait tooo long before doing the third one! There are so many things to take in that you wouldn't know unless you re-watched it. There is a youtube video you can watch that tells you all the things that were easily missed, small details that will blow your mind that you didn't see. Oh, also, one of the little kids at the Cafe 80s was one of the main actors in Lord of the Rings. Also, another video to react to is when Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd went on Jimmy Kimmel on the same date in 2015. It was the date they went to the future and they acted in Character as if they landed in 2015. It was awesome. Huey Lewis was even there and Biff too!
Yup...a very young Elijah Wood aka Frodo Baggins...also cool that you get to see a very young Billy Zane in both this one and in the first. He was one of Biff's cronies back in 1955.
Please do BTTF part 3! I think you'll love it as much as the first two!
Huey Lewis was not part of the dance scene at the end of the first Back to the Future. He was in the beginning when Marty and his band were auditioning. Huey Lewis was the judge who said, "I'm sorry, but you're just too loud." Ironically, after they played his song.
You guys are so lucky to be seeing it for the first time! I grew up with this trilogy, I've seen it so many times and love every minute of it. Please don't wait, do BTTF 3 next!
Saw this and part 3 in Okinawa, Japan in a Japanese theater. (Not in the base theater.) It was interesting, as the Japanese don't tend to laugh out loud in public theaters. We would laugh and get dirty looks, an acquaintance explained why. After that we kept the giggles to a minimum
Can y’all do a reaction to Clerks (1994). Amber will love that movie with all the dirty talk 😂
It came out in 1994.
The movie also adds to Star Wars lore in a big way. Makes you think the Rebels weren't really the good guys.
The other day I watched a documentary Michael J Fox did about his life growing up and then living with PD. He seems like such a chill and nice guy!
BTTF movies will always be awesome ❤
That's so sad, that he had to live with the Police Department. I mean, they were tasing him so much he started to shake.
When the first movie was made there was no plans at that time to have a sequel. Robert Zemeckis has claimed that if he knew that he was going to make a sequel, he would have made sure that Marty's girlfriend Jennifer wasn't in the car at the end of the first film. Since the movie would concentrate on Marty, there was not much for her to do, and she would even get in his way. This is why Jennifer is knocked out by Doc and left behind so early in the movie. The actress that originally played Jennifer, Claudia Wells, had stopped acting after her mother was diagnosed with cancer so they recast the part with Elisabeth Shue and reshot the ending scenes with her. Since four years had passed between films and Jennifer's part wasn't that large, most people at the time didn't even notice the change.
