Why everyone think it's scary. I think it just fun and average horror. Its even playable for kids. 😂 You should try games like the last of us and plague tale perhaps, that my friend is really called scary

can’t access the quest even though i completed the game. also can’t access the new broom
i have the broom but the quest won’t show up for me either (mind you i haven’t finished but i completed the second trial and am in winter)
do you have your WB games account connected to your game? idk if that would change anything but worth a try if you don’t..
edit: someone on reddit says if you play on pc & have mods installed to uninstall those and it should work? again i’m not sure.. just trying to help in anyway lol

I should have known about this Quest earlier cuz I finished the game and there's a weird flickering during the boss fight that was after I use the Vodka Kedavra add continued all throughout the boss fight playing on Nintendo switch so if anyone gets the same glitch hopefully you figure it out and hopefully fix it
Is the DLC a one and done where you can't return to it to check out the cloak and spell effects again or can you return to it to play with that stuff? I plan on doing a manual save before just to be safe but, I still want to know this info going into it.
are there special steps need to be taken after the update for the quest to appear? I am on post game already ans still not appearing. PC player here

Note ...Once you complete all spell assignments Penny will appear , The last spell assignment will appear in winter after 2nd trial If done in order the last assignment spell will be bombarda , curse spells are not included.
Hmm I didn’t consider that part, but great observation!
I replayed from the beginning from the recent update so I made sure this time to remember at which point Penny appears ha.

You can see the same color correction in the last mission with Poppy, in the Snidget cave.

I played this dlc today. Pain in the but.
The relic cloak is awesome nice touch in this quest. Speaking of attire, the white hoodie looks great 🍷

I just wish that they would do for a lot more of stuff to do for us , like really actually giving us a lot more of newer stuff to do.
Instead of just only just giving just that one thing.
But also I honestly haven’t done this quest at all yet.

Personally, I didn’t find much in chests and I was revelio-ing all the time. I’d rather wait, unless you’re really pressed for gear slots as SPOILER ALERT** Penny buys your clothing for a slightly higher price so you can make a bit more money selling to her.
This first game was so lacking idk if I’ll be getting another hogwarts game in the future was so underwhelmed at this entire experience.

The mission doesnt appear, and i just finished learning the transfiguration spell after the winter poppy mission.
I've fired up my 100% completed save on PC after updating but there's no penny when I go to Hogsmeade? Anyone else having the same issue starting the quest?
Yes. The house is boarded up but no Penny, I'm having the same issue
I have seen people say it needs to be played during winter
@@caldvmon I think it's only unlocked in winter? You can play it in any season
Ben I guess found why the game keep on crashing with new update. It’s Fidelity with Raytracing. Normal Fidelity and performance mode working well but after the new update fidelity with Raytracing keep on crashing. I took off my ps5 in to pieces and cleaned, tried all ps5 system crashing fixes etc. Just to find this😂😂 Avalanche please fix Fidelity with Raytracing 😂😂
I can't get this quest to trigger even though I've finished the story mode. I have several save files that are all past the point where it should be there and it's not. Am I the only one having this problem?
Not the only one, the shop has the glowing door and got the dlc but still no mission.
It just appeared for me. I'm currently working through another character, but I wanted to jump back into my original character to just explore instead of be restricted to story mode. When I went into the original character, this quest appeared. This one and another one opened. I'm not sure what triggered it, though.

4:04 The Merlin Trials don't bother me that much now, I've put a ton of hours into this game already. The only one that causes me frustration is the Platforms near San Bakar's tower. That one is a git
A good idea is to redeem challenge rewards after you complete a Merlin Trials or Ancient Magic challenge and/or when you are flying somewhere
Oh yeah the platforms are the most tricky for me too! But I don’t mind Merlin Trials at all either.. mostly cuz I’m used to these little things from Zelda. And in BOTW there’s literally a thousand of little puzzles like this

Isn’t this quest like actually old? I completed the game months ago and I do remember doing this quest at some point.

For some reason I can't even find the houseelf, even though I already completed the main storyline and unlocked all spells, she just doesn't show up at the shop.
Did you actually get the update?

This was my least favorite AND my favorite task in the whole game. I loved knowing that I’d get a shop, but my fear of mannequins did not help
Avada kedavra will help you in this mission.... it used to help you more but they changed something after release. That's a no spoiler tip 😂
I don’t actually like how bright the relic cloak is, I prefer it the other way, there was more detail and different hue to the glow, this brighter version is just a saturation of bright colour, it looks horrible in my opinion 😅
Have dlc haven’t seen anything like the quest to start it.

I'm 28 years old and a 9/11 surviver. There is only a small handful of times that I ever get scared and start shaking like a leaf. The haunted hogsmeade shop quest is 1 of those times. It is more perfect for a play at night on Halloween quest,but it is good. I finished playing it on my Nintendo switch copy yesterday morning.

No, just select a completed playthrough and go to Hogsmeade. You can start the Minding your own business quest there.

to be honest you dont really need a single healing potion I had 25 with me and didn't need a single one
If you’re pretty good then sure, I wasn’t 😅
Considering we auto heal after each battle you can take a few hits. Mostly never need to heal we need a harder difficulty and new game +
The end of this quest gave me motion sickness 🔄

not only did they make us pay for this, and not give it to us a year later. on top of that the quest isn't even popping in yeah its a pass

this is not DLC this has been in the game I did it right after I completed the game last year...
It technically is a free DLC. It was exclusive for playstation for over a year and recently got released to all platforms.
I cant wait another yesr until they fix the game so I can finally play this..
If your on ps5 guys... just wait. The game crashes every 5 seconds after loading :)
Disabling ray tracing stops the crashes. But then you don’t have ray tracing, so…
@@Barris42 so what does this help me with... I want the raytracing... honestly to release a patch that makes a game unplayable... the guy who playtested should be fired
You know what I would like patched... this stupid ancient magic R1+L1 that floats above enemies if you have a filled ancient magic meter... emersion breaking... unnecessary emersion breaking cluttered UI... but nah instead lets make it so racetracing breaks the game and crashes upon any input after spawning in
Like why not delay the patch... or give a warning in patch notes...

please WB fix the game. Hogwarts Legacy is UNPLAYABLE. Game is keep getting crash. I'm trying every day to check if they have fix it or not. But they still haven't.

I'm on my laptop steam before the summer updates it was fine but after the update it's keep on crashing

Windows tab, type in graphics settings & turn OFF hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling. I did this & have not crashed since. While still able to keep ultra graphic settings
so technically there is no DLC disappointing WB
It’s such a pointless reward all it does is make it so you can sell gear for 10% more
I’m on PlayStation so a year ago I felt the same disappointment when I found it out. By the time we get to this quest if you start a fresh game we still don’t need the 10% we already are drowning in Knut’s. 😂
@@rubysmith765 the 10% is nothing if the shop let you sell more then gear it might be nice but it’s so pointless, unless you’re going for trophies you don’t need that much moneyb
Yep I agree, I was hoping we could buy special items or something. New spells would have been nice to buy. Fr they dropped the the ball.
@@rubysmith765 yea thats my biggest issue with this game is it’s so barebones and basic, I’ve put 100s of hours into it I love it but there’s so much potential for more that I just feel they’ll fumble on a second time round
