@@intellyless1910it’s because of immersion. Sitting is such a common act irl and it would add a layer of immersion to the game. It also would let you absorb the atmosphere better.
I think that’s fair in this case…. That being said Harry Potter’s ending thrived on a sense of light ambiguity about how exactly Harry was able to beat Voldemort so I would expect a ton of answers.
@@Shapes_Quality_Control Like that's literally the plot of the game and they NEVER explain it. Then they say your the first person who was ever started Hogwarts as a 5th year but that's a straight up lie which is also never explained why. Also would like more companion quests so it feels like your relationship with them actually matters. And the Finalle should have been your friends who you've built a strong bond with helping you out instead of all the teachers.
@@Shapes_Quality_Control I didn't say anything of the sort. The Trailer for the game says your the first person to ever start as a fifth year. It has nothing to do with books or movies. They gave use a narrative for the game and then completely ignored it for something else entirely. Like if we didn't have ancient magic the game could have been the exact same and instead we are just some transfer student that was chosen to fight the goblin uprising.
I want - a potion brewing revamp. No more of this press a button and wait, let me brew and add more recipes and a progression system for this! - Next, broom controls need to be improved drastically along with a zoom in and out feature (using a mod for this and it feels essential now). - Bring a companion (or two) around the world with you at the very least. - A hardcore mode with morality and/or at least no free roaming the castle at night, unforgiveable curses in front of the wrong people will be like dying, etc. (I want to use all the lore in my head for a practical use) - Lastly, make combat more difficult, not by giving enemies more health, but requiring more intricate and specific spells and combos for more difficult high level enemies. Make the AI a little smarter and have fewer of them so it feels more like a duel than a massacre lol. This would also add meaning to the gear and crafting system which I avoid to make the game more challenging at this point. I'd put another 100+ hours into this game if this happened.
I started playing recently. I got a little irritated because the plant production time pauses when you pause the game. I expected it to be like the War Table missions in Dragon Age Inquisition
@@heancio2 Those features feel like a mobile game to be honest, and I was hoping for something more progression based myself. With potions, botany, all of it. Give me levels and more complicated and difficult potions as I go. Same with plants that would require more specific attention, etc. Maybe it's a lot to ask for, but would be nice in place of a large DLC.
I would say add a survival system like in Skyrim, where you’d have to sleep and eat to replenish your stuff. However, I feel like they should also have the house points systems, and if you go in the castle at night, you have to treat it like a stealth mission to sneak around the prefects and teachers with reactions being a slap on the wrist to a full on detention depending on who you run into
@@tgiacin435 The sneaking around at night is something I REALLY wish was at least an option. It's such a large part of the books that the game feels weird at night without any rules.
I would hope Avalanche might just do a free upgrade version i can download.. but if they dont.. They can fu@k off.. Im not spending £50 on a game ive already completed
See there’s this thing where in most business I’m sure you’ve all heard of it goes something like. “The consumer is always right.” I hope they really listen because I do want them to succeed but if it keeps going the way it is I’m not so sure my wallet will open so easy.
What always bothered me about this great game is actually one for each house. We had four companions, Natalie, Poppy, Sebastian, and Amit. The formula suggested that each house had a companion and sidequests to go with them. And of these four, we had three arcs and one half-ass arc. Amit is simply not a character even worth thinking about much. So, if the cut should add anything, it's missions for him. Natalie has a complete arc so she's fine, but then we have Sebastian and Poppy. We never really find out what happens with Sebastian's sister or Poppy's parents. Anne Sallow is a stark example of a problem that the game provides no ending or solution, good or ill. We need something to go off of regarding Sebastian and Poppy. Then, of course, there're the additional things: Sitting down, talking to NPCs, something to do after the main quest as a sort of New Game +, more crossed wands, etc...
I am surprised nobody mentioned this! I would love to see the Ravenclaw quest. I found all of the side quests to be interesting (Sebastian’s was the most entertaining thing about the game) so it would essentially be giving us like 5-8 new missions.
As I've said on a similar video, I really want to see more sandbox, simulation, and immersion content. Once you beat the game, there's really nothing to do besides max out your stats. The world is very nice, but I feel more like I'm just walking through a theme park than actually being immersed. A lot of Harry Potter fans wanted this to be more of a Hogwarts simulation type of game, or to at least have that sort of content. The game has very little interactivity with the world as well. Just look at the Order of the Phoenix game. I'd argue that that game was more immersive than Hogwarts Legacy. You could move, destroy, and repair a bunch of random objects. You could cast spells on other students. Obviously it also had mini-games like wizard chess, which I loved. There's just a lot of things I'd love to see in a Harry Potter game. *TL;DR:* I want their next game to truly be what the Harry Potter fans wanted for this game. That isn't to say that this game was bad, I enjoyed it until I got to the end, but I don't know of anyone who didn't get immediately bored afterwards or feel like the game was a bit lacking overall. They have a really good foundation here that they can expand upon, so I'm definitely looking forward to future content for both DLC and future games.
Well said. I've been replaying Hogwarts legacy again thinking how they did such a great job with the first game, but how it does lack some things you mentioned here. I really hope they continue improving the immersion in the next games. For me it's small things like having to return to your dormitory/house room at night for sleeping. And things like being on time for classes, or an accurate house point system. They did an amazing job with HL, but they have the opportunity to continue building off everything they did right and take the next leap in the areas they weren't able to fully master yet. This current playthrough gives me hope though because they did so much right for sure.
There will be never a truely Harry Potter game that fan wants because the studio is owned by Warner Brothers who wants to focus on games that make profit quickly so be expected to see cut content and rushed stuff for the sequel.
For myself, I want a few things beyond what you said. First, a companion system similar to Hogwarts Mystery. We can bring people with us on quests but only if we have a good relationship with them. Second, a potion mini game, one that allows us to make mistakes and ruin the potion. Third, more classes a schedule and a curfew system. We’re supposed to be students, treat us as such. Fourth, more of the minigames like accio court and Crossed Wands
I know this is a odd request, but I would love for their to have Proper, house furniture like a bed to decorate the room of requirement, and furthermore, maybe you could do some basic decorations to your dorm area
Thing we need: - New game + - The ability to customize clothes and gear - The ability to change seasons - house points or moral system - Interraction with people and object - "boss" enemies who can use unforgivables. 1 per poacher camp - enemies that can use the desillusion spell to turn invisible and attack. - Enemies that can protego/stupefy - Add spells like the ability to summon inferi, column of fire or turn into an animal since the animation already exist. - Prefets at night in Hogwart so you need to sneak out. Floo flame disable during the night. If caught they send you straight back to bed. And you lose house point of course - have random npc flying on broom - Add ability to choose 1 companion between Natty, Poppy, Amit and Sebastian: Natty (gryfindor) would animagus into a gazelle and attack. Or at least have her fight wandless Poppy (hufflepuff) would throw plants. Amit (ravenclaw) would use potions and complain. Sebastian would use unforgivables. - Change the sonic the hedgehog roll dodge move to short range apparition/teleportation. That look way cooler and more in tune with the HP lore.
Make Amit a true companion; just two instances (Astronomy Class and the goblin mine) weren’t enough. Make a full relation quest line like with the others.
@@deniselauderbaugh8060 yeah i agree. he actually have his own personnality and he is funny as hell. They should make a dlc with him as an important companion or something
@kingddd7855 he has no personality at all. He is just a cringe South Asian Stereotype. Ravenclaw deserves better. Make Andrew larson or Samantha dale as the companion or I quit.
Sort of specific, but I’d love a mission/storyline that brings us to London to take down Sir Herbert Varney - the vampire that terrorised London’s west end. I think he was written to be who Muggles referred to as Jack-the-Ripper.
@@serenaleahy-higgins3 Or, hear me out: a crossover with AC Syndicate. The Frye Twins' Eagle Vision effectively make them Squibs, giving them the ability to access and interact with the Wizarding World.
A directors cut could definitely expand on the Room of Requirement. The room only has one offshoot wing on it, and there is the chance of having another section on the opposite side, perhaps with another vivarium. Also wouldn't mind some more options to customize the room, such as ancient magic decor and wall options.
Realistically I could imagine the Director's Cut to have the following: - Companion mode (this was coded in but cut for some reason) - Quidditch (which was planned but cut due to whatever reason) - Menu cheat tools such as no cooldown for spells, infinite broom boast speed, etc - New spells (spells that were added but cut, can be found in game files) - End game content that makes it near infinite - Quests related to Azkaban (they added it for one mission only? Probably not.) - A fifth spell wheel - NG+ Probably wont happen: - Coop - Pet companion
@@Ribblit Perhaps a land companion would be difficult since you have a wand, etc, but maybe a Jobberknoll that flies around you and responds to certain things.
I agree with you on all of this list! And I also had the same concerns about some of the highly requested additions being "too big" for the current game like consequences. Another concern is will this Director's Cut affect the progression of the potential sequel? I'd hate to see HL2 pushed back another 3-4 years because everyone is focused on the cut. Maybe that could be why they brought in some of the Rocksteady devs. Either way, the future of Hogwarts Legacy is looking exciting!
Make potion brewing an optional mini game while making potions. Be able to make stronger potions, trade off would be requiring more ingredients and a longer brewing time. Make all potion ingredients purchasable, you can still collect them out in the world if you're short on Galleons. All plant based ingredients can be grown in plant stations as long as you have the seeds.
It was a good HP game, but it wasn't the HP game I have dreamed of, which would be more of a simulation. I want to be an actual student. I want to listen to an actual lesson and then put it into action. I want school. All the school, classes, assignments, etc.
- as someone who enjoys stealth A LOT I really wish we had a harder time roaming around the school at night! please let me use the invisibility potion and charm! - but my biggest one is def a bit unrealistic in terms of scale, however! I wish they would implement the scoring system and time sensitive rules. like for example: make me chose between attending lessons and exploring the world! if I’m off somewhere when I’m supposed to be at class, then I lose points and get detentions (I think detentions can be very fun as well, maybe tie them in with some collectibles or new quests for teachers all together!) but if I chose classes and not an assignment outside then maybe there will be more poachers/goblin camps because they would take more and more ground! that will make such a difference in gameplay. so many possibilities to mix and match different events!
I would love NEW GAME + and a trunk to store all the clothing you unlock so if you're out of room you can store the clothing and later update those clothing later.
Just to be the downer here, but even if the rumours true (very likely considering it came from Schreier), it doesn't mean it will see the light of day. SOOOO many projects never see the light of day. If it does happen, I really hope they lean into the life sim aspects. I want full and unique mini games for classes (I also want more classes in general), I want there to be some sort of repercussions for dark magic, even if its only a cosmetic change to your character. I want house points, and I just want more unique and fun focused stuff to do INSIDE hogwarts. Also making the forbidden forest actually scary (or at the very least, more enemy types) would go a long way.
Few more ideas: Unique brooms (meaning that they all have different stats), More wands/handles, romance (nothing explicit of course), duelling club, more hogwarts secrets (unique secrets, not the boring collectible type secrets we have), less dead AI for NPC's, make houses feel unique instead of different colour coat and different dorms/common room that we never go back to.
I really like the approach of Elden Ring's cave systems and how rewarding it feels to solve a puzzle, defeat enemies, conquer a major enemy, and receive a reward. Adding new locations would be great, but one thing I haven't seen people talk about is how bland exploration can be. You go inside a cave and might face 1-2 enemies if you are lucky, and then you are presented with a chest. I wish the experience could be more rewarding, and even the puzzles in some of those areas are mundane.
I would love to have all the things, who were planned (and are found in the code) but were not playable in the game. Like the companions, finally a quest line with a Ravenclaw and some mor explanations like for the ancient magic and where the MC came from. And for myself I wish for a Ominis Quest line 😂
I think a summer DLC were we spend it at diagon alley would be fun. It opens up the possibility to re-visit Gringotts, and could easily be sort of a Sirus Black type situation were an escaped convicted is being hunted by Dementors etc. Also adding a points system could be a thing though might be squel things more so. Even some nation Quidditch team uniforms as free extra, would be great when Quidditch champions releases. Even if it's just twitch drops.
Something tells me that, in the event fans had to re-purchase Hogwarts Legacy in order to get the Directors Cut, you’d still have all 24 Million of them doing so whether they’re upset by it or not because that’s how dedicated fans of the Wizarding World are. Also, given that WB provided the means to link one’s House and Wand from your WW account into the game, it seems inevitable that one’s Patronus was also meant to be included in the game in the future. Thanks for the exiting info.
Am I the only one who lost all faith in the game? 134 hours of gameplay, the first 30 I enjoyed as a fan and the rest I suffered watching how they butchered the word “RPG”, The truth is that I doubt they will add anything considering that the game was abandoned the first week of release, they only came back to ask for votes, and what they added recently is quite pitiful, the photos are decent but the rest is disappointing.
My top 3: 1. Be able to SIT DOWN 2. Have SOMETHING cool happen when you finish collectibles, like the Merlin trial 3. A moral system (unlikely, but one can dream) - I mean, you’re telling me I absorbed all that red magic smoke and I’m not a contender for dark lord?
Potion brewing revamp kinda like skyrim alchemy would be dope. But also more clothing and just cosmetics like wand stuff. But a really big thing would be more creatures to fight/tame.
I want an option to not have the alahmora minigame it's just not how the spell works the point of the spell is not have to lock pic still have the levels of more difficult locks but just open the dang lock
I honestly have no bloody idea what they were thinking with that wildly out of place mechanic...beyond wasting our time. Least they could have done is when we upgrade tiers 1st level automatic unlock & so forth. This ain't the elder scrolls. " hold on let me get my trusty lock pick" " ARE YOU A WIZARD OR WHAT!! USE YOUR BLOODY WAND YOU NUMPTY!!"
Honestly, I think an easy fix would just be to ‘level up’ the spell. When you come more proficient with it, say you can level up to level 2, all level one locks could automatically open instead of the mini game. That way it feels like you’re mastering the spell in some way like you do other spells. Having the mini game for each lock is sooooo annoying though 😂
It would be cool if they introduced the dementors as enemies. The patronus charm could either slow them down until you’re able to take them out with other spells or it could put a barrier around you so they couldn’t suck you life or magic.
I think i would only get excited about this is if there is a DLC type content added. I feel like weve been left in the dark since release (even dispite the summer update). This needs to be a big win for HL. Obviously, I will buy it no matter what, but I dont want cosmetics and graphic updates, I want content. My hopes are high but expectations are low
If they didn’t want to add more content, I think they should add a modding toolkit so modders can take on the work of the game and add more content, much like how Bethesda handed off the reigns to modders for Skyrim and Fallout, and how BG3 is currently doing. It’s probably a pipe dream, but we can hope 😭
Thank you for explaining what a Director's Cut is 😂Now it makes more sense. Do you think any additional content would come to all platforms? Or since it's a new version of the game, it would be new gen only?
I would like dark arts spells beyond just the three unforgivables. Fiendfire would be an example. But also a spell that summons an Inferius to follow you and fight alongside you for a limited time. Stuff like that. Fiendfire would of course be a dark "brother" of the patronus, with perhaps the patronus animal and fiendfire animal being identical. Plus, since for every Animagus we know in the lore, where we also know the Patronus animal, they always match. So that's something that is to consider, I think.
The patronus has exceptions, if the partonus is shaped by another(like with snape) the animagus would be a different creature. Same with the eccentric ones.
@@ked49 We simply don't know a single Animagus where the patrons is either exotic or defined by someone else. Everyone we know where the patronus is defined by someone else, or have an exotic one, is not an Animagus. So, we don't know what happens in those circumstances. If they simply transformed into those creatures, no matter how exotic or external, transformed into a different creature, or couldn't transform at all. If you can point out someone and prove me wrong, please do so. I'd love to learn something new. Until then, I'll treat what you just said as speculation.
I want a quest where we find and open the chamber of secrets, but somehow have to close it before anything bad happens - therefore not affecting the main harry potter story.
i want to be able to SNAP OR CONNECT BUILDING PIECES IN THE FLIPPING VIVARIUMS AND THE ROOM OF REQUIREMENT also i think it would be nice if we could actually go to places like honeydukes or zonkos and buy sweets, have butterbeer, find some fun things in zonkos and use them on different students or even teachers if you’re feeling like fred or george.
- I'd like broom flight to be more dynamic, so that you could make really sharp turns, break fast, fly up-, or downwards at speed, make back-, and forward loops, spinning etc. and collision damage. Make different brooms and mounts have different speeds, A thestral should be the fastest flying thing (except for dragons I think) during this time yet it's slower then every broom. - Make portaits as their own character with who you can interact, as well as the other npc's. - I'd like to see that the wand you make matters for your gameplay, that the effects of each wood type, length, flexibility, and core actually matter all be it just a little. - Housepoints - A morality system - A reason beyond room of requirement upgrades to earn some gallions, and a way to sell potions, herbs, quest items (once finished with them), etc. (if that is not yet possible with the shop quest Haven't gotten there yet) - Add books that you can read and collect, With all kinds of lore, character/world/history stories, knowledge about what not.
What I would appreciate the most are more school sim elements similar to a game like Bully. An in game clock where classes are at specific times and you get special rewards/buffs for going, punishment if you get caught skipping, curfew starts at a specific time and have prefects/teachers patrolling, maybe let us cause trouble/duel inside the school, etc. Also, please let us sit and eat in the great hall, sleep in our common room, maybe add mini games like wizard chess and gobstones. I just want to feel like I’m participating in the Hogwarts part of the game instead of just touring it.
Consequences for walking the castle at night! A library where you can learn more spells and potions by reading about them, stealing hair and gathering ingredients to make polyjuice potion and being a professor or other student to get into a house. A loose Golden Snitch to catch and interactions with other students meaning something
What I want for a DC is: 1. Level your spells by doing the classes (Make spells stronger, decease recharge time) 2. Curfew 3. Morality system in the shape of housepoints along with a rep system by helping people out or making life more difficult, like praking students or villagers 4. More minigames with more stages 5. Companion system 6. More interactable items, like sit at the table in the great hall for breakfast, lunch and dinner and make the camera swoop around, sit on furniture in general, feed the giant squid toast 8. More spells 9. More content in different places (Diagon Alley, other schools, Azkaban) maybe a Triwizard DLC? 10. Actually, brew your potion via minigame by adding the right ingredients and stirring the right number of times etc. The more powerful the potion, the more difficult it is to make 11. Better alohomora minigame. Copy Fallout for all I care, but make it more fun than just spinning 2 things until you hear a sound, or just skip the minigame altogether 12. Better flying controls. Copy Saints Row, where when you have hoover mode on, you can strafe and use 2 buttons to go higher and lower, or switch to flying mode where you actually steer with your mouse in all directions. 13. Quidditch 14. Fly through Hogsmeade 15. Less cloak clipping 16. More cosmetic items (Haircuts, clothes) with separate upper and lower options 17. Able to buy all types of clothes in different shops around the map, so it's not all RNG based. Add Diagon alley to buy more skins for school supplies, add shops with different style clothes depending on the season. 18. Longer day and night cycle 19. Hardcore mode with maybe world parameters you can change, like multiplying the number of enemies that spawn, how many different enemies spawn at once, etc. 20. Make every house very different so the playthrough are much different combat wise. Gryffindor as guardians, more defence and focus on non-lethal spells like able to use patrificus totalus outside of stealth. Hufflepuff as Summoners, where they summon plants and animals to fight for them while they themselves have low defence and attack. Ravenclaw as mages, with high attack on their spells but low defence, with more reliance on potions and Slytherin as Rogues, using stealth and sneak attacks with higher DPS, especially with dark magic. (Though I think 20 is more something for Hogwarts Legacy part 2, it would be fun if they overhauled it completely for the Directors Cut)
Being able to actually run your haunted shop and actually sell items (it’s been forever since I played it but if I remember correctly you could only really buy stuff there, or was it vise versa and you could sell but not buy)
Would love a directors cut version, some aspects of the game felt unfinished or were left out due to timing constraints. Looking forward to what they do with the mini games, and if it has a multiplayer mode that would be 🔥
Some of this might be a bit too ambitious but if possible for Hogwarts Legacy 2 the devs should add Werewolves, the option for players to be an Animagus, new Mounts, the Triwizard Tournament as a quest or dlc quest for the school, a Romance System kinda like on Bully but expanded upon, a good and bad Karma and reputation System both with their own perks and the bad karma and bad Reputation could have consequences aswell, the House Points System and House winner announcement at the end of the year, some sort of Nemesis System, and the Spell that Molly Weasley used to kill Bellatrix whatever in the bloody heck that spell was oh yeah and it'd be cool to also see Diagon Alley and knockturn Alley get added as explorable locations
My top 10 things I want are: 1) Re-do missions 2) Finally fix the damn moth glitch 3) quicker cooldown for killing curse 4) expand on NPC friendships and let you visit their common room if it's different from your own 5) turn Summoners Court into a mini game you can play with a second player locally that you can select from the title screen 6) Let you change every thing (not just your hair) from the hair salon, including your character name in case you misspelled it or just get tired of it There is no 7-10
Yeah but the directors cut for ghost was free to those that already bought the game. Is all I had to do was boot up the game and I had it. This should be the same case for hogwarts directors cut.
Considering Legacy was an unfinished mess & rushed out. I agree. I don't care if it was the best selling game of 2023...the game was lacking in almost every department & sold as well primarily due to the IP. I know I'm going to hear " but they need to make money!!" Or " be greatful" To those that say this, piss off. They made 2 billion in profit & much more probably.
I wish that they add a chamber of secrets quest for all the houses and some more comestics for getting the directors cut and make it like 10 dollars if you already own the game and add some more quests
There's a few mounts that I wouldn't mind having in a directors cut. There's that fourth flying mount slot that is completely blank where were could have a new flying mount. Then we could have a Kelpy mount and a Unicorn mount. I would love to have more mini games in the game. I would love the potion brewing interactins to be brought into the game. Also wouldn't mind the option to pet the creatures in our vavariums. We can pet cats but not the beasts that we rescue.
I love this game one of the things that bothered me was the shop and being able to sell gear as I don’t really use the potions or plants. I feel like we could’ve sold some of them too I feel like talent points should be added as well
I have a feeling that it's gonna be something closer to Death Stranding's Director's Cut $10 upgrade rather than Ghost of Tsushima, and if that's the case, then we could be getting a "premium upgrade" similar to DS (rather than an expansion + new features), so my hopes are that we should at least get: - New repeatable activity (hopefully Hogwarts related) - New battle arenas - 2-3 new missions similar to Death Stranding's Director's Cut (if I'm remembering that correctly) - New Game+ with a harder difficulty, and curfews - this might not happen, but I really hope they add in the scrapped companion system, it's already accessible via mods (albeit unfinished), but it would be awesome if they had more recorded lines for the companions and we were able to use them anywhere like our character seems to hint at whenever we go to enemy camps lol - And this one might as well be extremely wishful thinking, but I'm also hoping they add back in the cut parts of Hogwarts if this was a bigger Director's Cut, a decent chunk of Hogwarts had to be unfortunately cut so it'd be awesome if they add back in all the alternate stealthy route backdoors and expand the very apparently empty grand staircase area, whether in a Director's Cut or a potential sequel.
i want more of caves with challenge bosses and mazes to get big rewards. currently most of them feel worthless to enter. Also far south of map need more quests (add 100 hours would be nice)
I would also like to see more mini games...the only thing you can repeat in the game is the broom race...and the secret duel club is also far too short...hopefully the developers will bring more things like that in the directors cut.. Maybe the developers will also expand the map... who knows
Love the brainstorm possibilities -- Some replayability features, a permanent Crossed Wands, some new spells, a DLC, and more would help hold us over until Hogwarts Legacy 2. But I also want some things saved for the sequel-- a sequel I want to be more rooted in Hogwarts and the immediate Wizarding World that we see in Harry Potter, not traveling to the edges of Scotland.
I would love for there to be a bigger difference between the houses. A better house sorting ceremony would be fun as the one in the base game is quite disappointing. And instead of just one quest being specific for a house, I'd like there to maybe be more of a house specific questline. This questline could to span over the different seasons to encourage several playthroughs beyond the discovery of the mapchamber for the trophy.
One good thing they can do is - rework the controls on the broom to be the same as an airplane. It's annoying I can't have the one stick to control both pitch and roll.
9:29 Please, yes please. I would love to see companions part of your mission. I honestly would die for that to be part of this game. I would go crazy on adding anybody to the game, especially Poppy oh my gosh please I would love to see that in the game!!
I hope they add some quality of life features (companion system, more immersive world outside of Hogwarts and Hogsmead, etc). While Dementors, Quidditch, and new spells would be cool i'd rather have that stuff as a specific expansion (or even a sequel???)
I'm down for more companion quests but really don't want multiplayer. What I loved about the game is how the experience was yours and not dependent or influenced by other people. I hope the sequel doesn't go the path of online either
My wish list: Co-op! Companion system 😍 Harder difficulty mode, because hard isn't hard enough when you get used to the game 😅 Be able to sell potion ingredients and beast materials! Adjust prices for things, so some things get more expensive. No need to do the alohomora mini-game at level three anymore, but make it harder when it's only level one. Potentially allow the ability to unlock all locks without the upgrades, but this way it'll be a nice incentive to get upgraded to level 3. More immersion - need to eat and sleep! More spells 🤞🏻 A low chance to find beasts outside of their dens, with varying chance depending on the rarity of the beast.
I'd like to have the option to toggle the enhanced spell effects visuals from the Haunted Hogsmeade quest for the rest of the game...And also having an option to get the graphorn mount earlier in the game, was kinda disappointed that the game was practically finished by the time the graphorn was available...
I agree I don't think a full quidditch update would be part of the directors cut, but I think they should definitely be aiming for a full quidditch system in Hogwarts Legacy 2. I think that would take the game to the next level being able to join the quidditch team and throughout your year play in big quidditch games with the stands full. I really like the broom flying and everytime I'm flying over the quidditch pitch all I can think about is how fun it would be to have a good balanced quidditch system in Hogwarts Legacy 2. I feel like they have to create it since the headmaster said quidditch is canceled for that year only. I think a quidditch minigame in the directors cut would be perfect way to start testing it out, but I want a fully open true quidditch system in the 2nd sooo bad.
Classes are so needed and it's better than just playing cutscenes. We could even attend Professor Fig's class too. Quidditch still remains a long shot, too much programming work and stakes are too high, that's why we have Quidditch Champions as a separate game and the reason why we have Phineas Nigellus Black to cover up this missing feature.
I just want an offline class mode, morality system, and more missions in the castle its unforgiveable how little missions in the school we have. When it comes too hogwarts legacy Im a potterhead first and a gamer sscond
25 kids per house per grade would be 700 kids total. Give them all names and schedules and have them load in whenever you visit an area they would be at that time. Oblivion managed to do this. It would also lend replay value since you can visit a place and see a kid turn himself blue in the attempt to turn into a dolphin or trying to walk through a wall because he "swears he was able to do it yesterday!" Or maybe you meet a student in the forest and they join your company fighting spiders until they lose health and go home.
these are amazing points that I would loove to see! although i was never a fan of room of requirements and I just wish that they also would just substitute it for more missions instead
Multiplayer like Dragon Age Inquisition would be nice- cooperative missions that take place outside the storyline but mirror some story missions. I don’t think a full co-op mode like Borderlands would work here.
How about the ability to say "no/not now" to random quests or games? Leave it up to us to decide if we want to do something or not and not have quests it sitting in our quest log that we have no desire nor intention to complete.
They should do the last of us 2 route where basically you add new stuff and it's £10/$10. Or you can buy the directors cut have the bundle with the base game.
What I want in the director cut Hogwarts legacy is 1-all that you have listed 2-(not sure if it would work) dating, marriage, and divorce so not only you can have adventures but you can have adventure with your new partner and they can divorce you if you do something evil 3-have baby thestrals and raise dragons 4-let you ride the train and get food from the cart 5- add animagi, werewolf , autism, and disability to your character to make it more challenging 6- expand ominous, Sebastian and Anne’s story my lord I wanted to see more of this slytherens (they are the first slytherens who made me think that house is not all evil for the first time)
While watching your video something just came to my mind.. Why the QC just used Sebs stuff? they also named it as Sebs hero skin. As Hogleg should give these names to QC, I'm sure there's a purpose. It can't be just coz Seb is more famous among the players, I guess there's something related to Seb and the directors cut.
- they should add a GTA wanted system. when you do things that are unforgivable, dementors or aurors should hunt you down. - actual consequences for your actions - randomly generated dungeons with cosmetic rewards - expanded dueling club with different arenas - mini games but realy fleshed out, maybe with leaderboards. - rotating seasons even when the story is over. maybe even holyday events. somthing to log in for during halloween or christmas.
Online lobbies and we can grief other players. Homing missiles on broomsticks too and it be cool if we can have Trevor Philips as headmaster "listen up, we're going to have a meth lab in the botanical wing of the castle and you're going to help me out"
If they are making us buy it there better be a dlc with a lot added will probably wait for the reviews to come out before I buy it. And we need more quests like Sebastian one and haunted hogsmeade and also would like to be able to change out face entirely in game
I'm conflicted. Sure, I buy remakes or expansion games (such as Persona 5) while keeping the original. However, I rarely played Hogwarts Legacy unless it is through a book marathon... so hearing they are gonna make another version of this game just make me wonder if I will ever get the Director Cut.
To me this is really really simple. Hogwarts legacy made 5x what they thought they would ever make. It was a home run, and all they need to do is take that money and put it into what we all want which is an mmo real hogwarts experience. I mean we can already get a mod to play with friends so ZERO reason why the devs can't do the same. We want to get sorted, go through different school years, have teachers and ghosts try and catch us walking the castle after hours, a new story that actually has our actions and choices reflect our character and how there story will be shaped. We need a gear system to give us something to progress and keep us invested. Soooo much more I can mention, but it's all things that the community has already said. This isn't rocket science, but it's being treated as such.
No one wants an mmo. This is such a garbage opinion. You do realise that mmo means dozen of transaction and probably a subscription needed to play. Check all other mmo games for proof.
This game NEEDS a better character creation, it has 10000000 cosmetics option but the most important thing which is character has few faces or no face structure sliders
As someone who preordered the top tier of Hogwarts legacy and the disk version at that, I’d totally be down to buy the directors cut if they added co-op. I’ve given up on them w/ quidditch. I’m just gonna get Harry Potter quidditch champions for my quidditch needs.
it would be great if more difficult or playing in a harder mode would yield better rewords. It would give more incentive and a sense of accomplishment.
Please for the love of God take out the ridiculous alohomora minigame! It's stupid, mechanical instead of magical and honestly only annoying after doing it twice
In my opinion, the real questions about the Director's cut - do we really need one? It is not like we will get a ton of new content, the studio has already moved on to the follow up game, so we might get some polish but not major features. We got a great game, most of us probably completed it and for the price point that was good enough frankly.
LET. ME. SIT. ON CHAIRS AND BEDS AND ANYTHING ELSE WE CAN SIT ON. Please!!!!!!
Why is this such a big thing, it doesn't add sh!t. Ask for real content.
YES Like in stray id like to be able to immerse and enjoy
@@intellyless1910it’s because of immersion. Sitting is such a common act irl and it would add a layer of immersion to the game. It also would let you absorb the atmosphere better.
I want ancient magic to finally be explained what it is and what it can do.
That and more character interactions!
@@lockskelington314 You also gotta keep in mind this isn’t strictly canon to the films or books despite taking major inspiration from both sources.
I want
- a potion brewing revamp.
(I want to use all the lore in my head for a practical use)
- Lastly, make combat more difficult, not by giving enemies more health, but requiring more intricate and specific spells and combos for more difficult high level enemies.
I’d love the potions to be more like HBP. They really nailed it in that game.
If it's real, just make it an upgrade for current owners. If I have to buy the game again, i'm gonna be mad
Why? It has nothing to do with you whatsoever, you bought, and own, your game as specified.
I would hope Avalanche might just do a free upgrade version i can download.. but if they dont.. They can fu@k off.. Im not spending £50 on a game ive already completed
@@nuggyfresh6430they would be the first company not too offer the free upgrade or the upgrade as doc you can but for 15 bucks
@@nuggyfresh6430 you sound like someone who works for a company that does just that
See there’s this thing where in most business I’m sure you’ve all heard of it goes something like. “The consumer is always right.” I hope they really listen because I do want them to succeed but if it keeps going the way it is I’m not so sure my wallet will open so easy.
House points. Punishments outside night prefects and azkaban when uskng curses. And quiditch house cup aswell
Adnanbey is a pissed off Ravenclaw
@@ubuu7 actually... I'm a Hufflepuff. In game and by every sorting I've ever taken.
Agreed! I remember being disappointed after I accidentally knocked something over in Fig's classroom and I couldn't fix it with Reparo.
Make the world more interactive outside of quests and add good mini games. The unlocking mini game is tedious.
Couple easy enemies to add :
Werewolfs
Dementors
Expanded on Bandits or dark wizards
Flying enemies like imps or something
I know this is a odd request, but I would love for their to have Proper, house furniture like a bed to decorate the room of requirement, and furthermore, maybe you could do some basic decorations to your dorm area
Please let there be able to sit in this one. My veins are bursting from standing on my feet the whole time😂
Thing we need:
- New game +
- The ability to customize clothes and gear
- The ability to change seasons
- house points or moral system
- Interraction with people and object
- "boss" enemies who can use unforgivables. 1 per poacher camp
- enemies that can use the desillusion spell to turn invisible and attack.
- Enemies that can protego/stupefy
- Add spells like the ability to summon inferi, column of fire or turn into an animal since the animation already exist.
- Prefets at night in Hogwart so you need to sneak out. Floo flame disable during the night. If caught they send you straight back to bed. And you lose house point of course
- have random npc flying on broom
- Add ability to choose 1 companion between Natty, Poppy, Amit and Sebastian:
Natty (gryfindor) would animagus into a gazelle and attack. Or at least have her fight wandless
Poppy (hufflepuff) would throw plants.
Hey! You!
Locomotor mortis!
You shouldn't be out at night, Potter. Get back to your dormitory!
Ten points from Gryffindor
This game DEFINITELY NEEDS roleplaying elements affecting more stuff in story and affecting rewards according to it. This is a must
Sort of specific, but I’d love a mission/storyline that brings us to London to take down Sir Herbert Varney - the vampire that terrorised London’s west end. I think he was written to be who Muggles referred to as Jack-the-Ripper.
That would be so cool. Reminds me of AC SYNDICATE DLC
@@serenaleahy-higgins3 Or, hear me out: a crossover with AC Syndicate. The Frye Twins' Eagle Vision effectively make them Squibs, giving them the ability to access and interact with the Wizarding World.
@@jmal that’s very neat!!
The thing I want most is the central tower becoming accessible and filled
Which central tower?
@@DarkHood-pg3qd the tower above the library is totally empty
Think this is actually one of the biggest towers
Central tower, left bell housing, south quad ground floor and pepper pot building all are missing interiors which I’d love to be filled
A directors cut could definitely expand on the Room of Requirement. The room only has one offshoot wing on it, and there is the chance of having another section on the opposite side, perhaps with another vivarium. Also wouldn't mind some more options to customize the room, such as ancient magic decor and wall options.
"director's cut" "complete edition" "game of the year edition" among others all mean thr same thing; "Remastered" is a completely different term
i'm hoping they let us ride a dragon in this cut!!! i'd love to expereince this world on he back of a dragon
Realistically I could imagine the Director's Cut to have the following:
- Companion mode (this was coded in but cut for some reason)
- Quidditch (which was planned but cut due to whatever reason)
- Menu cheat tools such as no cooldown for spells, infinite broom boast speed, etc
- New spells (spells that were added but cut, can be found in game files)
- End game content that makes it near infinite
- Quests related to Azkaban (they added it for one mission only? Probably not.)
- A fifth spell wheel
- NG+
Probably wont happen:
- Coop
- Pet companion
A pet companion would be so fun
@@Ribblit Perhaps a land companion would be difficult since you have a wand, etc, but maybe a Jobberknoll that flies around you and responds to certain things.
@@PenOkOh I think u might be on to something
I agree with all this expect coop and quidditch
@@Dimitri_Lousteau285 Yeah, none of those sound appealing to me. But I know both was planned before.
I’d love to see wizards chess fully playable and animated. It’d be sweet to play in common rooms or the great hall.
Agree. I’d rather have a potions mini game instead of the unlocking mini game. Also, bring back the Crossed Wands, I enjoyed that.
It was a good HP game, but it wasn't the HP game I have dreamed of, which would be more of a simulation. I want to be an actual student. I want to listen to an actual lesson and then put it into action. I want school. All the school, classes, assignments, etc.
Hopefully at least some of the content that may have been cut for time could make its way back in.
Agreed. Would love to see it!
Agreed.
I want a quest line where we follow Isidora's footsteps, use ancient magic like her and go back to the last repository
Or at the very least, make our choice about what to do with the repository matter at the end
Roleplaying. I want roleplaying. House points. Companions. Quests with decisions to be made. A morality system is a MUST HAVE.
134 hours of gameplay, the first 30 I enjoyed as a fan and the rest I suffered watching how they butchered the word “RPG”,
The truth is that I doubt they will add anything considering that the game was abandoned the first week of release, they only came back to ask for votes, and what they added recently is quite pitiful, the photos are decent but the rest is disappointing.
4:00 it could just be a patch you download for free or at a discounted price
My top 3:
1. Be able to SIT DOWN
2. Have SOMETHING cool happen when you finish collectibles, like the Merlin trial
" hold on let me get my trusty lock pick"
" ARE YOU A WIZARD OR WHAT!!
Magic Awakened is your calling
- Housepoints
- A morality system
- A reason beyond room of requirement upgrades to earn some gallions, and a way to sell potions, herbs, quest items (once finished with them), etc. (if that is not yet possible with the shop quest Haven't gotten there yet)
- Add books that you can read and collect, With all kinds of lore, character/world/history stories, knowledge about what not.
I want to see Apparition, Unsupported Flight and some of the NPC Spells like raising inferi, fiendfyre and the cool lightning storm spell
What I want for a DC is:
1. Level your spells by doing the classes (Make spells stronger, decease recharge time)
2. Curfew
3. Morality system in the shape of housepoints along with a rep system by helping people out or making life more difficult, like praking students or villagers
4. More minigames with more stages
5. Companion system
6. More interactable items, like sit at the table in the great hall for breakfast, lunch and dinner and make the camera swoop around, sit on furniture in general, feed the giant squid toast
8. More spells
9. More content in different places (Diagon Alley, other schools, Azkaban) maybe a Triwizard DLC?
10. Actually, brew your potion via minigame by adding the right ingredients and stirring the right number of times etc. The more powerful the potion, the more difficult it is to make
11. Better alohomora minigame. Copy Fallout for all I care, but make it more fun than just spinning 2 things until you hear a sound, or just skip the minigame altogether
12. Better flying controls. Copy Saints Row, where when you have hoover mode on, you can strafe and use 2 buttons to go higher and lower, or switch to flying mode where you actually steer with your mouse in all directions.
13. Quidditch
14. Fly through Hogsmeade
15. Less cloak clipping
16. More cosmetic items (Haircuts, clothes) with separate upper and lower options
17. Able to buy all types of clothes in different shops around the map, so it's not all RNG based. Add Diagon alley to buy more skins for school supplies, add shops with different style clothes depending on the season.
18. Longer day and night cycle
Looking forward to what they do with the mini games, and if it has a multiplayer mode that would be 🔥
ADD GILLYWEED I want to actually go underwaterrrrrrr
My top 10 things I want are:
1) Re-do missions
2) Finally fix the damn moth glitch
3) quicker cooldown for killing curse
4) expand on NPC friendships and let you visit their common room if it's different from your own
5) turn Summoners Court into a mini game you can play with a second player locally that you can select from the title screen
6) Let you change every thing (not just your hair) from the hair salon, including your character name in case you misspelled it or just get tired of it
There is no 7-10
Yeah but the directors cut for ghost was free to those that already bought the game.
I know I'm going to hear " but they need to make money!!" Or " be greatful"
To those that say this, piss off.
I feel like we could’ve sold some of them too I feel like talent points should be added as well
I have a feeling that it's gonna be something closer to Death Stranding's Director's Cut $10 upgrade rather than Ghost of Tsushima, and if that's the case, then we could be getting a "premium upgrade" similar to DS (rather than an expansion + new features), so my hopes are that we should at least get:
- New repeatable activity (hopefully Hogwarts related)
- New battle arenas
- 2-3 new missions similar to Death Stranding's Director's Cut (if I'm remembering that correctly)
- New Game+ with a harder difficulty, and curfews
- this might not happen, but I really hope they add in the scrapped companion system, it's already accessible via mods (albeit unfinished), but it would be awesome if they had more recorded lines for the companions and we were able to use them anywhere like our character seems to hint at whenever we go to enemy camps lol
- And this one might as well be extremely wishful thinking, but I'm also hoping they add back in the cut parts of Hogwarts if this was a bigger Director's Cut, a decent chunk of Hogwarts had to be unfortunately cut so it'd be awesome if they add back in all the alternate stealthy route backdoors and expand the very apparently empty grand staircase area, whether in a Director's Cut or a potential sequel.
i want more of caves with challenge bosses and mazes to get big rewards. currently most of them feel worthless to enter. Also far south of map need more quests (add 100 hours would be nice)
I know it'd be weird with how spells are unlocked, but NG+ with our transmog system unlocked just to replay the game would be cool.

Please, yes please.
Dragon mounts for sure and Werewolf enemy types.
My wish list:
Co-op!
Companion system 😍
Harder difficulty mode, because hard isn't hard enough when you get used to the game 😅
Be able to sell potion ingredients and beast materials!
More spells 🤞🏻
A low chance to find beasts outside of their dens, with varying chance depending on the rarity of the beast.
I'm hopeful but keeping my expectations to the lowest to not end up disappointed.
I think a quidditch minigame in the directors cut would be perfect way to start testing it out, but I want a fully open true quidditch system in the 2nd sooo bad.
more character customizations, more spells, dragon encounters, dragon mounts, co op so you can play with a friend and more missions would be great
Companion and morality system is the most important imo
Classes are so needed and it's better than just playing cutscenes. We could even attend Professor Fig's class too.
Quidditch still remains a long shot, too much programming work and stakes are too high, that's why we have Quidditch Champions as a separate game and the reason why we have Phineas Nigellus Black to cover up this missing feature.
WHY DID YOU SAY THAT NAME?!
I just want an offline class mode, morality system, and more missions in the castle its unforgiveable how little missions in the school we have. When it comes too hogwarts legacy Im a potterhead first and a gamer sscond
House broom racing, those racing trials could be all over the map and complete against other houses, for house cup
Be more fun if they add homing missiles to the broom.
25 kids per house per grade would be 700 kids total. Give them all names and schedules and have them load in whenever you visit an area they would be at that time. Oblivion managed to do this.
It would also lend replay value since you can visit a place and see a kid turn himself blue in the attempt to turn into a dolphin or trying to walk through a wall because he "swears he was able to do it yesterday!"
Or maybe you meet a student in the forest and they join your company fighting spiders until they lose health and go home.
these are amazing points that I would loove to see! although i was never a fan of room of requirements and I just wish that they also would just substitute it for more missions instead
What I want in the director cut Hogwarts legacy is
1-all that you have listed
2-(not sure if it would work) dating, marriage, and divorce so not only you can have adventures but you can have adventure with your new partner and they can divorce you if you do something evil
3-have baby thestrals and raise dragons
4-let you ride the train and get food from the cart
5- add animagi, werewolf , autism, and disability to your character to make it more challenging
6- expand ominous, Sebastian and Anne’s story my lord I wanted to see more of this slytherens (they are the first slytherens who made me think that house is not all evil for the first time)
Mount selector has 4 slots since day 1 release only 3 mounts thestral , hippogriff and onyx hippogriff.
I would like more class sessions. And, eventually, partake in N.E.W.TS and O.W.LS
- they should add a GTA wanted system. when you do things that are unforgivable, dementors or aurors should hunt you down.
- actual consequences for your actions
- randomly generated dungeons with cosmetic rewards
- expanded dueling club with different arenas
- mini games but realy fleshed out, maybe with leaderboards.
- rotating seasons even when the story is over. maybe even holyday events. somthing to log in for during halloween or christmas.
Online lobbies and we can grief other players. Homing missiles on broomsticks too and it be cool if we can have Trevor Philips as headmaster "listen up, we're going to have a meth lab in the botanical wing of the castle and you're going to help me out"
That's Magic Awakened you are talking about
If they are making us buy it there better be a dlc with a lot added will probably wait for the reviews to come out before I buy it.
I just want a DLC with more quests, options for the room of req and locations - preferably send us for a scholarship to another school
As someone who preordered the top tier of Hogwarts legacy and the disk version at that, I’d totally be down to buy the directors cut if they added co-op. I’ve given up on them w/ quidditch. I’m just gonna get Harry Potter quidditch champions for my quidditch needs.
I think co-op would be cool, I love working with other players. Solo PVP can get boring.
Outfit cosmetic presets. So I don’t have to keep changing the new gear I pick up.
it would be great if more difficult or playing in a harder mode would yield better rewords. It would give more incentive and a sense of accomplishment.
Please for the love of God take out the ridiculous alohomora minigame! It's stupid, mechanical instead of magical and honestly only annoying after doing it twice
Would love to have the wand be more than just a prop , online dueling
In my opinion, the real questions about the Director's cut - do we really need one? It is not like we will get a ton of new content, the studio has already moved on to the follow up game, so we might get some polish but not major features. We got a great game, most of us probably completed it and for the price point that was good enough frankly.
