3 VERY IMPORTANT thing you didn't say about protego: 1 : Protego does not always lead to a stupefix. You need to parry an enemy spell AND keep pressed for roughly half a second after parrying a spell to cast stupefix. 2 : Perfect protego have another perk, the greatest in the game to be honest, it throw magic back to sender. Why is it the best perk? because enemies with red shield use only fire spells, yellow shield only conjuration etc... so succeeding a perfect protego mean destroying the enemy shield and an addiionnal effect. THANK YOU so much for your guide videos. I’m a grandpa that is helping my 7 yr old grandson play this game. I play ahead with my character so when he comes over, he plays his own character and I can help him so he doesn’t get too frustrated. He plays the game and I only step in after he has tried himself several times. We are really enjoying it and your videos have helped very much. Merry Christmas 2023!
I’m so happy to hear you’re finding my videos helpful and are enjoying the game with your grandson! That is something special 😁 Thank you for letting me know. Merry Christmas to you and yours! 🎄
The most underrated feature with the gear is that you can make your appearance look however you want regardless of the gear you are wearing..heavily underrated
Absolutely! It really has impressed me so far. Some graphical glitches here and there, but I'm sure they'll patch that up fairly quickly. Other than that it's been awesome!
Man I'm like 30 maybe closer to 40 hours in and I just literally took my broom class I have been doing so much cool stuff...the devs nailed this game with all the details and secrets
I’m about 20 hrs in and I feel like I’m just starting to get into all the activities I don’t even think I’m done finding all of them I’m still unlocking different stuff to get into it’s amazing honestly I’m not the biggest Harry Potter fan but this game is just amazing honestly
Finding out everything on my own these past 20 hours has been so fun and interesting. I held back on videos like this on purpose, I wanted to be completely lost and find my way around like a real first time student.
the only thing this video taught me is the alive chest thing with the invisibility spell ... i thought that i had to unlock the last yellow spell to unlock these lmao
@@BobIsMeJSYK Yes! I was working on a puzzle room yesterday, and the room was glitched after finishing the first part. I was so confused what the objective was because the objective was literally hidden behind a wall that was supposed to move. after 15-20 min, I looked up the room and realized I wasnt the problem :,)
This is what I do for most games. Really adds to the immersion. I remember accidentally figuring out I could snowboard on my shield in Zelda BotW. that was freaking wild lol 😂
I got 50 hours into the game, and also held off watching these. This is a great video but nearly everything I found out on my own by playing the game. I've had to look up a few things but mostly just figured it out while playing and exploring.
Literally just logged off on my first day playing. I hit the season change cutscene before hopping off. Hearing this is the end of chapter 1 and there’s so much more to do makes me happy.
I'm 13 hours in and didn't know I could use the invisibility spell to open those chests with the eyes, I thought that would be using another mechanic I'd learn later on 🤦♂. Also now I know how to open those number puzzle doors, great tips!
@@Dollface_nessah i also ddnt realize until like 8 hours in, but dont worry the game is like 40 or 50 hours haha or more if u do everything. i completed on 45...and i had som stuff left to finish
A tip for all the people trying to find more pages. The ones that are invisible (only show with revelio) make a little ding noise when you cast revelio and the closer you get the louder the noise is. (A few of my friends and me in the beginning thought when any kind of treasure gets revealed it makes that sound but it’s only the pages)
@@randomdude189 there are a lot of games without collecting things if you wanna play those but I personally like going around the world and trying to collect everything
@@rickydiamond441ultimate combo for me have been leviosa immediately followed by arresto momentum, by the time arresto wears off, the drop from leviosa, then recover, then run, giving you plenty of time to catch even thestrals or unicorns.
It’s even easier if you change your difficulty to “Story” because they catch instantly without the little mini-game and then when you’re done just set your difficulty back to whatever you normally use
If I'm collecting beasts I just set difficulty from hard to story and then back again as it means you can just catch them in one press. That's one part of the game that I'm not running around like a fool trying to do. It's just completely unnecessary
the amount of thought, care, and detail that was put into every nook and cranny of hogwarts is so wonderful to observe and explore i'm in love with this game
THANK YOU! I’m not a gamer, just a Harry Potter nerd trying to keep up with my kids playing it. This was so helpful, I’m sure half your total views will be from me rewatching it.
That's nice of you to support your kids their interest in this way! Try it yourself too at some point, even just wandering around and discovering things in hogwarts is fun!

@GnomeDazzle then don't watch it buddy. Sure most of it you figure out on your own. But there was a few things that were useful. At least the producers of the video are contributing info rather than whining in the comments section lol.
@@davemccombs I didn't understand the arithmancy puzzles so that at least was helpful and as the other person said you don't have to watch it if you don't want to.
A tip that I love is collecting a bunch of mooncalves (because they're super easy to capture) for easy money and really utilizing the room of requirement. Get the conjuration spells for the hopping pots that give you potions, the tables that give random ingredients, seed packets, etc because it's basically just free supplies every time you walk in there and you're going to need them further along in the game. Also something I wish I didn't do was procrastinate on unlocking the upper level alohamora spells just because I don't like stealth missions...it got really annoying when I was trying to collect ancient magic and even go on side quests and had to abandon them halfway through cause I couldn't unlock a door. I didn't start watching any videos like this until after I got over 40 hours in the game because I wanted to learn to navigate it on my own first but there were a few things, like those random statues in the hall that I couldn't figure out! But now this gives me another excuse to run back around the castle and explore it again.
This game is one of the best I've played. They have really hit it out of the park with this game, and the love and care they have for the Harry Potter universe is just amazing. Also beyond a bit of confusion regarding the map and inventory handling, I really LOVE the controller layout of this game! Once you start getting some muscle memory going and given that you plan your spell sets in a good way you'll feel in full control of what you're doing, which is no easy feat because the amount of combat systems in this game is pretty damn complex. The way they guide you to each particular system is so well done that you really feel like you are growing as a student of Hogwarts. Also even if you're not using the PC version and can't change the FOV they have this GREAT mechanic where you can see when you're targeted by enemies by the halo above your head and the ground around you, so even if you can't see an enemy attacking you from behind you will know if you're being targeted. Simple excellent in every way!
Well.. yes. That and you go around and kill hundreds of people and you get to sell off baby beasts, because you dont have room. Its good stuff. Seriously though it is a good game. It suffers the same things as every other open world games. People are generic, and to keep the game fun, you have to have action. Therefore you kill enemies. But seriously. No student at Hogwarts would go around and do that shit.
@@renemortensen5028 and that why a like this games a rather have a simple generic fun and beautiful open world than a hard rpg no fun games were you always have to think to advance in the games like for exemple elden ring or skyrim, fallout....etc those games are frustrating and times consuming no fun at all
It was a very fun game indeed. The only thing that they did badly is that whatever your character does (or the choices you make) have no consequences what so ever on the story and how people act toward you. You kill hundreds of people. Dark mage sure, but still. You don't always just defend yourself. Your often is the one attacking first and they do die. And nobody cares. You open chest in people house in front of their eyes. And nobody care. The game ask you to chose between 2 or more pieces of dialogue but what you chose only change the piece of dialogue but no consequence on the actual story or quest you are about to take. No matter your choice everything is going to play out the same. You use forbidden spell IN FRONT of characters that don't like those ? They act as if you didn't use them at all but blame the other characters for doing so. You can ever wear the most ridiculous of mask or outfit in tense situations and everyone act as normal. The game keep telling you that the forbidden spell are awful and nobody should use them and all. That the killing curse is the worse. But by the time you unlock it, you already killed thousands with "regular spell" that are just as crazy (burn to death, split in half etc..) I wish our choices actually meant something. Even at the very end of the game when you are questioned on something that seem very important (I stay vague to avoid spoiler) what you say doesn't change a thing. What was the point of asking you if it didn't matter in the first place ? Who knows.. Other than that it was really nice. The ambiance is good, the combat is fun, the magic is satisfying to use. The main quest lines are interesting to follow. Good stuff.
One huge tip I'd recommend that i wish I'd known sooner is to READ ENEMY DESCRIPTIONS. It'll tell you useful weaknesses for some obnoxious and powerful enemies. I learned a lot of them through duelist tasks (and a couple on accident), before realizing that they were all listed in the compendium thing.
the game spoonfeeds you this detail, stop mashing your buttons and start reading the text, the game tells you absolutely everything in its pop-up windows, people who are stupidly rushing to complete a game mash through pop-ups and dont even read that you will shoot a stupefy counter-spell if you hold block this game is great and its a shame to run through it as fast as possible, I see people on youtube with 100% complete already and the combat they show has them spamming R2 without actually taking any time to do spell combos, or switch between spell sets to use more than 4 spells in a combat, what a shame as its a very fun combat system with lots of fun combos and interesting counters, every dueling feat is very rewarding to land
Usually when I watch this type of video I always think that it's unnecessary, but in this case, it actually changed the game for better. Awesome content mate.
I really love the clothing appearance mechanics in this game. You don't have to make your character look ridiculous, but instead can choose from previous looks to keep the character how you want.
8 hours in and I just got the tutorial about the health, defense, and offense ratings on the gear screen. So good. Been a while since I’ve played a game that I can’t wait to play again as soon as I have to turn it off.
I tried it thinking I was smart and figured it out. Didn’t work because I didn’t walk far enough away for the chest’s eye to close. Now I feel smart and stupid.
@@triforceofcourage100 personally i assumed that i had to get the last yellow spell to open these chest, because they are "alive" therefore i have to use the transform spell to "turn them into basic objects" ...
Brilliant game. I held off on buying it but bought it last week and addicted! There’s so much quests, main and secondary and gives the game such a detailed feel and very fun
I found out that accio will automatically become a wingardium leviosa if you cast it into objects that require the wingardium spell to complete a puzzle or any other helpful reason, that way you can avoid having to switch and hopefully save a spell slot. Edit: Actually if you are using Accio on an object (not enemy), once you try to move it up that’s when it will switch to Wingardium.
The arithmancy door puzzles are also set up so that the single question mark answer will always be an even number (showing only even numbered animals) and the double question mark answer will always be an odd number (showing only odd numbered animals).
Once you get the room of Requirement. You'll never need to buy ingredients or potions ever again. Just gotta save up the recipe for triple brewing stand, the 5 small, the 3 medium, and 2 large potting stands. Once you get those and the seeds, you'll have a near unlimited potion supply of every potion in game
@@leahmichele22 same place you buy everything else? Unless they changed it in an update, you could buy all the different potting tables whenever you could afford it.
I’ve found that the combat is easier to pick up if you’ve played Spiderman ps4 and Dragon Age Inquisition, because the incoming attack circle is essentially the ‘spider sense’ aura that tells you when to dodge in Spiderman and the spells and combat layout is pretty much exactly the same as DAI
I feel like that too with playing Pokemon Legends Arceus where you had to quell frenzied Pokemon. With dodging and attacking, these quell battles could be really hard. Prepared me for the HL battles for sure!
Same as your coverage with HFW, this is FANTASTIC! I'm about 5 hours in and extremely overwhelmed (in a good way) but am so excited to delve into slowly mastering this game. These tips you shared are invaluable and I can't wait to see your future videos!
These are very great tips, especially the gear part. I struggled with it until I realized we had access to all gear we found, and all that was important was wearing stronger gear. If I had seen this video, it would have saved me so much frustration with gear slots 😅
Loved this thank you. As a side note from me, around 13min mark when discussing talents, the darks arts curse talent when using stupify is really handy when paired with the one in core mentioned for blocking. The darks arts one will curse them and slowly drain health and make them more vulnerable. It’s great for an early one with the spiders 😂
Utilize your broom to appear on top of your enemies heads. You can’t actually use spells while flying but if you appear right next to their campfire and light up the whole crew with an upgraded Incendio, you’re off to a great start
So glad you are covering this game. I really love watching this channel grow. For now, I still want to explore by myself, so I'll just like and comment for the algorithm. Crossed Wands 3 has me kinda stumped right now though, ngl. Might soon be time to watch some tactical videos.
Hey thanks Hedera! I appreciate your support 🙂 No worries on not watching the video. I totally get that. And I’m working on a combat guide as we speak! 👍
I’ve started to notice that anyone who has a lot to complain about this game, mainly with stuff to do or lack thereof, aren’t Harry Potter fans. I have 12 hours in the game already and I only just now unlocked the room of requirement. I’ve just been exploring. I love being able to go through the Harry Potter world. It’s so amazing
You need to be doing the main story quests. I got both of those around hour 10 (level 15 or so) of playing the game. I vary between wandering around doing side quests and doing the main storyline, but I’d say it’s about halfway through the first season.
I needed to see this today, thank you so much! I felt stuck and lost at the same time, and contemplated not playing any more for a while, but then you said to finish chapter one, and I immediatly loaded up the game and continued the main quest/task. I think I'm actually really close to finishing the first chapter, and am looking forward to explore this game in another way now. Really helpful video!
That info about gear stunned me, I actually considered creating a witch just because I wanted to put on a hat for the stats. Now I know you can customise your character this way I can just create whoever I want
The game actually tells you this but I think some people may have missed it. There are aincent magic areas around the map which if you complet a certain amount will give you more charges of your aincent magic meter.(unlocks after first chapter and is in challenges)
Additional tips: I learned when you search the chests and find gear, they will be scaled for your level or below. So it might be best to wait to open them until you get your level up, especially in areas where you travel frequently. But some areas you can never return to (or want to) such as the intro and those areas where you have to go (no spoilers) to do (no spoilers) challenge to advance the story so it's a one and done location... those are the only chests I have been looting. The obvious reason is higher level gear is more useful, and if not they will sell for a much higher price. Since we can only can search them once it's best to wait if you can.... but I found it's hard to pass by them and resist temptation. But cast revelio everywhere and explore during the introduction and other areas you won't be able to return to later on - there's even coin to be nicked at Gringotts where the sleeping goblin is and outside the vault. Oh, and before you go there, there's a chest in the castle ruins you might like to check out. It's opposite of the statue and pathway, outside of the castle between the wall and the cliff... there's a little hidden easter egg there too.
By endgame you have so much money you can buy your level 40 gear at the vendor it is always at ur current level open all the chests it's not worth trying to mark and remember each on or something
I disagree with the higher selling price. As far as I can tell the price only depends on rarity, not level. and well you need the money when you are moving on so letting them is not really a smart move, especially since its part of motivation and exploration.
Subbed, playing the game rn for the first time, doing main quests, bout 11 hours into the game, every second is fun, discovering new spells and combinations.
I've pretty much figured all of this out for myself organically and I'd honestly recommend it to anyone that has the time to do so. It feels a lot more magical and rewarding to learn all of this by yourself. I had opened up the Arithmancy rooms and found the meaning of the symbols all from process of elimination and note taking and while that seems boring to a lot of people it felt so nice to get rewarded so early for it. I was maybe 5 hours in if that.
Theres also a page in the rafters to, i believe the Grande hall? that explains what character represents which number. Honestly i feel every one of these "tips" are just things learned through reading the tooltips and listening to dialogue. Or exploring the game.
My biggest gripe early on was how much gear i had to destroy, working on the gates now to be able to carry more but loving the game much more than I thought i would.
a pro tip i learned is before starting a main or side quest, i always go to room of requirement to identify unknown items, re gear everything, then sell all the gear im not wearing. that way i dont lose out on gears when i go on quest since you cant travel to stores to sell.
Just go back and sell everything that you’re not using often. Any person marked by the coins will buy your gear and all gear that you have discovered will remain available for changing your gear look to regardless of whether or not it is still physically in your inventory.
a year late to the party but this game is epic, 40+ hours in its great and i had no idea re the gear i've looked like a fashion disaster this whole time haha! thank you :)
THIS! this is the guide every new player needs! So detailed and you covered everything so well. This is an amazing video! Good job. Liked and subscribed
I have a tip but not sure if this is helpful to other people. find demiguise statues early on so you aren't hindered later in the game because you can't open a door. there's one in each of the hamlets and loads in hogsmeade that are fairly easy to find with revelio, ( they glow blue and are always the same shape and size so you can see which buildings to look in). I found it so annoying when I was somewhere with level 3 locks and I couldn't get in. there is so much loot and general amazing places that you wouldn't get otherwise. not sure if that made sense
Thank you for this guide, it was hard to resist exploring but I just finished chapter 1 and I’m looking forward to using everything that game has thrown at me.
Another good tip I found is once you unlock the nab-sack you can go and collect as many beasts as it will hold and sell all the ones you don’t want for 120 a piece at brood and peck in hogsmeade. It’s fairly easy to find beast dens and to capture them as well.
Your tips were sooo useful, especially with the combat. Thank you so much for cracking down on the talents points to do first, now I'm kicking myself I didn't get one or two of them right away. Sooo...now I gotta get those before advancing cause I think I will be in trouble later. Your awesome. ❤
@ArktixOfficial So I wanted to start over, 1. I don't like my first character much anymore, and 2. I wanted to take a different route with the second character. I've been taking in the tips you stated as I progressed. Keeping those colors in the same slots is very useful. I may have overly dominated Dueling Club a little too hard after the 'grrs' from my first time around. I have come to terms with the new character is half jackass half sensible. Somewhat like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. 😂 Now, to figure out better combat with Horizon Zero Dawn. ☠️ i hear thumping from the bigger machines and..."Nope. Ride, my trusty Broadhead!"
Right, I didn't even have the stronger fire spell before I run around going woopwoopwoop to areas that I probably wasn't suppose to go yet, and when the map room opened, I had 17 points to use on the skill things 😅
As I said in your first few videos of Horizon Forbidden West, hands down the best original content creator out there! So psyched to see how much you've grown and that (most importantly of all) your content hasn't deviated from amazing. Great job, man! Looking forward to following you through another banger of a game!!

Hogwarts Legacy is on sale and I bought it yesterday. The first thing I did is come to my favourite gaming UA-camr to check out tips and tricks. Thanks so much, Arktix! As always, your videos are super helpful. I look forward to getting really good at this game with your help
That was really helpful thanks. I haven't even finished chapter 1 yet and I already feel like I'm knee deep in everything, but I only just got my broom!!
The Devs knocked it out of the park with this game. Idc what their previous game was. They've set a new benchmark on how to handle a beloved IP and create an immersive and beautiful world to explore. I'm 25hrs in and have loved every minute of it. I've heard rumors of DLC's and sequels, and already see tons of mods being made for this on PC, so this game is going to be around with active players for a very long time. GG Avalanche! You have a fan for life.
Regarding ancient magic throws: Once you get access to the loom and the buff for them, absolutely add this to your entire outfit. The amount of damage this does is ridiculous, even if it doesn't hve much long term power (as you only get so many throws at a time), being able to OHKO some enemies or at least get them to less than half health in one hit is very useful.
I just got the switch version and started playing it. I’ve had so much fun with it so far. A lot of these tips are also applicable to the switch version. The keys are different on the switch, but it’s still good to know!
@@ArktixOfficial the switch version came out super recently so it would have been insane to have the right buttons! It was definitely still super helpful though since the switch version guides you through which buttons to use but not really other helpful tips
I got a great deal on this game for the Xbox Series X. I bought it use about 3 weeks after it's release for 30 bucks with free shipping, the game showed up mint and the codes in the package were unused! I was also able to get the twitch drop items before I bought the game. Today I just picked up the Dark Arts pack with a gift card that I had sitting around for quite a bit. I've sadly only played the game for a few moments since I acquired it but I've been loading up on all the Promo items and freebees that I could find, knowing that I'd play it to completion some day. The game looks amazing and is pretty fast paced. Thanks for all the useful tips!
Great Game, i enjoyed it a lot. Awesome video for people who started the game. Using spell combos is way more fun in fights than just spamming damage spells (or forbidden ones). I got roughly 80 hours for my first playtrough, got to level 38. I’llstart my second round now, focussing on fighting with plants more 😁
I didn't find out that I could change the appearence of my gear to whatever I had collected until the very end of the game...but atleast I was swagged out for the ending ceremony haha
This is a great video! Spoiler free, concise, easy to understand and explains a lot of stuff that's easy to miss! The day night shift feature took me ages to figure out! Wish I'd found this vudei when I started playing first lol. For what my opinion is worth you did a great job on this! 👏👏👏
I honestly played that video as an ASMR as I've already completed the game and I'm just throphy hunting. Advice for newer players - the game doesn't give much replayability reasons as it will be fairly the same all the time but you can do for example your first playthrough where you try using everything, second playthrough where you use only combat plants with no potions or unforgivables and so on.
Great video man, I really enjoyed this. This video is super helpful and I’ve been playing for about 18 hours already yet still learned a lot. Just subscribed! Keep up the good content and you’ll definitely grow
In combat I like to, Accio Basic Atk ×3 Levioso Basic Atk ×3 Dipulso Basic Atk ×4 Makes tons of Ancient Magic shards drop as you juggle the enemy in the air and that combo drip is off the charts 🤤 P.S. you can also add in an expeliarmos or Any attack you like at the end just to really drive the damage home!
Great video! I'd also add a reminder, about spell combos. When placing one spell of each colour on your spell triangle try to make combos. They help a lot.
Excellent tutorial Im Lvl 26 but still learned a couple of things. One minor point, at around 7 mins you said that the player has to sell extra gear to a shopkeeper in Hogsmead. In fact you can sell to any shop or stall anywhere on the map. For a raw beginner this might be significant to know. Thank you for this guide I didn’t realise how good the ancient throw really is!
Thank you! Glad you found this helpful. And yes, great point! You can definitely sell to the shopkeepers around the map too, not just the ones in Hogsmeade 👍

It seemed like you couldn't get them from these chests because it appears that the looted trait's rarity is tied to your character's level. At low levels it will be unlikely/impossible to loot a tier 3 trait from a collection chest. This is why many of us believed they could not be looted at first. 3 VERY IMPORTANT thing you didn't say about protego:
1 : Protego does not always lead to a stupefix.
During the duel questline when people come as 4v1 with color shields, 2 perfect protego in a row mean 2 enemy incapacitated without casting a single spell.
3: The Protego and Stupefix talents is are very important to take early on.
Protego talent send TWICE more missiles than you where supposed to receive, if a magician threw a levioso or accio on you, the perfect protego send back 2.

THANK YOU so much for your guide videos. I’m a grandpa that is helping my 7 yr old grandson play this game. I play ahead with my character so when he comes over, he plays his own character and I can help him so he doesn’t get too frustrated. This game is fantastic, 8 hours in and hardly feel like I’ve scratched the surface. The amount of small details the devs put into it amazes me
Absolutely! It really has impressed me so far. Some graphical glitches here and there, but I'm sure they'll patch that up fairly quickly. Other than that it's been awesome!

Me too . I'm about 5 hours in. It's the best game I've played in years. It is so much fun. Very similar in mechanics and cosmetics as assassin's Creed
Finding out everything on my own these past 20 hours has been so fun and interesting. I held back on videos like this on purpose, I wanted to be completely lost and find my way around like a real first time student.
Me too! But sometimes there are quests that I found so hard that I just needed to search it up and I feel so bad.
the only thing this video taught me is the alive chest thing with the invisibility spell ... i thought that i had to unlock the last yellow spell to unlock these lmao

There's also a subtle audio cue when you walk close to one!
When you use revelio if you’re close enough, a gold outline of it will pop up to show you where it is
@@spades5497 Yes, that was the most helpful thing for me to. Also, the outline even appears without using revelio if you are close enough.

@Astoundinhades that's the only way I could get the Thestrals.
If I'm collecting beasts I just set difficulty from hard to story and then back again as it means you can just catch them in one press. That's one part of the game that I'm not running around like a fool trying to do. It's just completely unnecessary

Thanks for sharing these additional tips!
I do this but it's because mooncalves are so friggin cutee
FOV slider on PC is disturbingly disappointing too, by the way. Barely gives any extra view.
Well..
@@TheJustinShowAndCo who needs fov in a third person game tho?
But by the time you unlock it, you already killed thousands with "regular spell" that are just as crazy (burn to death, split in half etc..)
I wish our choices actually meant something.
This is mentioned directly in the game with a tutorial of it
Oh so like every other game?
the game spoonfeeds you this detail, stop mashing your buttons and start reading the text, the game tells you absolutely everything in its pop-up windows, people who are stupidly rushing to complete a game mash through pop-ups and dont even read that you will shoot a stupefy counter-spell if you hold block
this game is great and its a shame to run through it as fast as possible, I see people on youtube with 100% complete already and the combat they show has them spamming R2 without actually taking any time to do spell combos, or switch between spell sets to use more than 4 spells in a combat, what a shame as its a very fun combat system with lots of fun combos and interesting counters, every dueling feat is very rewarding to land

I’m blown away by the game. I didn’t expect it to be so detailed BUT… I’m freaking level 30 and haven’t got a broom or the room of requirement
You need to be doing the main story quests. I got both of those around hour 10 (level 15 or so) of playing the game. I vary between wandering around doing side quests and doing the main storyline, but I’d say it’s about halfway through the first season.
You should be good it seems quests have a minimum level stuff can be but they will scale with you no matter what
I needed to see this today, thank you so much!

I finally picked up this game last week and I can't thank you enough for your work in creating this video! Many thanks! :)
That info about gear stunned me, I actually considered creating a witch just because I wanted to put on a hat for the stats. Now I know you can customise your character this way I can just create whoever I want
Glad you found that tip helpful!
2:28 the game literally tells you on the bottom right you can change map with the D-pad.
Me, who has been looting every chest I see: 🙃
By endgame you have so much money you can buy your level 40 gear at the vendor it is always at ur current level open all the chests it's not worth trying to mark and remember each on or something
@@TheSugaroreo your good keep opening them bro 😊
it’s not that deep bro you still get the looks of the gear and you’ll always be changing for higher levels so what’s the point in waiting
I've spent like 3-4 hours just exploring the castle haha and I'm sure i didn't 100% yet, amazing game 🔥

Hogwarts Legacy is on sale and I bought it yesterday. The first thing I did is come to my favourite gaming UA-camr to check out tips and tricks. Thanks so much, Arktix! As always, your videos are super helpful. I look forward to getting really good at this game with your help
Hey thanks! 😄 Hope you find the tips helpful and enjoy the game!
That was really helpful thanks. I haven't even finished chapter 1 yet and I already feel like I'm knee deep in everything, but I only just got my broom!!
I’m so glad you’re doing guides for Hogwarts Legacy! I’ll share them out to everyone I know that’s playing the game
Hey thanks a lot! Glad you're excited and I really appreciate that 😁
OMG I couldn't get the door puzzles open because I was counting 1-10 instead of 0-9
Great video btw!
Thank you! Glad you found that tip helpful!
same, i thought why did i so dumb for simple math??? then realized i perceive it wrongg
same, i thought why did i so dumb for just a simple math?? then realized i perceive it wrongg
One of the best tips video I have seen! Thank you, keep up the good work!
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful 😄
Regarding ancient magic throws:
Once you get access to the loom and the buff for them, absolutely add this to your entire outfit. The amount of damage this does is ridiculous, even if it doesn't hve much long term power (as you only get so many throws at a time), being able to OHKO some enemies or at least get them to less than half health in one hit is very useful.
omg I didn't realize I could transmog the gear!!! thank you
You're very welcome! Yeah switch that look up!
Great content thanks for the tips, I did not know a few of these and I am already about 6 hours in...PREEESH!
Thanks! Glad you found this helpful 😁
I just got the switch version and started playing it. I’ve had so much fun with it so far. A lot of these tips are also applicable to the switch version. The keys are different on the switch, but it’s still good to know!
Glad you found this helpful! Yeah sorry I didn't have the correct buttons for Switch. Hope it wasn't too difficult to figure out the correct buttons.
I’llstart my second round now, focussing on fighting with plants more 😁
Thanks! Glad you think this is a good guide for people starting out 😄
I didn't find out that I could change the appearence of my gear to whatever I had collected until the very end of the game...but atleast I was swagged out for the ending ceremony haha
Haha nice! Yeah they should really point it out early on.
Great video! I find that a slower basic spell 4x then a yellow spell gives you a few extra seconds to juggle and build huge combos 👍
Thanks! And good tip! Thanks for sharing it!
This is by far the best game I have ever played I've never played a game and watch the storyline till now graphics and storyline is just perfect
Super helpful. This video should be accessible in early game. Im an hour in and better prepared. Thx. I liked n subscribed
Hey thanks! Glad you found this helpful 😁 And thanks for your like and sub 🙏🏼
Finally!!! I love your guides! Been following you since Horizon FW. Now I can Finish the game succesfully LOL
Hey thanks! Hope you find these tips helpful!
This is a great video! Spoiler free, concise, easy to understand and explains a lot of stuff that's easy to miss! The day night shift feature took me ages to figure out! Wish I'd found this vudei when I started playing first lol. For what my opinion is worth you did a great job on this! 👏👏👏
Hey thanks a lot! I’m glad to hear you found this helpful and I appreciate your comment 😁🙏
I hope they provide an update to be able to use the swipe feature on the touchpad to use Revelio like in Ghost of Tsushima 😮
Ooo yes that would be really nice!
There is literally a zero percent chance they would bother coding in touchpad compatibility for a non-PS exclusive game.
Thanks
Hey thanks a lot Nanny Oggins! 🥳 I really appreciate your support! 😁🙏
A highly descriptive and professional guide. Good job mister! 👍
Hey thanks! Glad you found it to be good quality! 😁
Great video man, I really enjoyed this. This video is super helpful and I’ve been playing for about 18 hours already yet still learned a lot. Just subscribed! Keep up the good content and you’ll definitely grow
Thank you! Glad to hear you found this helpful 😄
In combat I like to,
Accio
Basic Atk ×3
Levioso
Basic Atk ×3
Dipulso
Basic Atk ×4
Makes tons of Ancient Magic shards drop as you juggle the enemy in the air and that combo drip is off the charts 🤤
P.S. you can also add in an expeliarmos or Any attack you like at the end just to really drive the damage home!
Great video! I'd also add a reminder, about spell combos. When placing one spell of each colour on your spell triangle try to make combos. They help a lot.
Most helpful video I've seen on Hogwarts so far,Specifically the mention about when talents unlock.
Thanks! Glad you found it helpful!
