Uncle Styopa is actually an old Soviet childrens book / animation. He is very kind to everyone and loves helping people. (He is not an undead in the stories though, just really huge dude.) The stories are actually adorable and interesting, and were written so children dont fear the scary looking uniformed policemen on the streets.
Really? Was he based on a real person? I think that if you're too kind and gentle of a person, you can't be a cop or a soldier because they have to be brutal and willing to kill when/if necessary.

I love how specific the map at 0:44 is as it shows a fragmented USSR and a unified Yugoslavia. This means that it would have to be placed in early 1992. Great attention to detail.

This is one of those SCPs that isn't necessary malicious. If anything, it just wants to bring families back together.
Said "Getting Back Together" is rather....rather direct when the parents are dead. It's largely a well intended figure with rather unorthodox methods. But if anything, some things never go out of style....minus appearances.
It's also very nice to learn about SCPs from other countries like Russia or Italy. It shows the creativity of SCP fans around the world. And it is great. Well done, Doc. Well done indeed.
He is a fairly sweet scp even though he does kill the people he meets. He's like one of deaths many forms except he's like the sympathetic part

Never heard of this "Uncle Styopa" until now. I must admit, this SCP is actually pretty wholesome....if you disregard the fact it is reuniting families long since apart. I still respect it for trying as much as it can.

I knew this was a SCP horror story but I somehow still hoped it would only be a police officer bringing her to a bus stop
Why only Euclid and not Keter? The anomaly seems to be completely uncontainable by the Foundation, which would denote a Keter designation.
Keter is really only for top priority stuff. Those that have completely unpredictable actions, anomalies that can destroy entire cities or more, anomalies that could reveal the presence of the anomalous to the public. Etc are the foundations top priority.
They know how it appears and while uncontainable its effect makes it where all showings of it are unlikely to be spread out without there notice. Not to mention it doesnt actively draw attention of groups who would break the veil

Safe, Euclid, and Keter exclusively relate to whether the SCP can be contained or not.
As long as it is operating only in former Soviet countries, it is "contained."
I also believe it should be Keter, as the foundation has no means of containing it.

“Excuse me, officer, could you please help me?”
The traffic officer looked down at the small girl tugging his jacket. She looked scared, clutching her teddy bear tight. He crouched to her eye level.
“What’s wrong, little one?” He asked gently.
“I can’t find my mommy and daddy,” she whimpered. The officer nodded. This was both a sad part of his job and his favorite part. Many children got lost on the streets of these big cities. He loved helping them, but there was still many a time where the situation was taken out of his hands and he never found if they were reunited with their families.
He began walking with the girl, asking passerby about the description of her parents. Nobody had seen them. He was starting to lose hope, and considered taking her back to the police station, but then she ran off and skidded around a bend into an alleyway. He quickly followed, calling after her.
When he entered the alley, he saw the girl standing there in the darkness, an unsettling grin on her face.
“Did… did your parents come down here?” He questions cautiously. She giggles, and his instincts tell him something is wrong. Then he feels arms wrap around his neck.
“My mommy and daddy are dead. And soon, you will be, too.” The girl’s words ring in the officer’s ears as a fist collides with his jaw. He feels it snap. No calling for help.
He’s dragged into a warehouse and tied to a table, each limb fastened to a corner. Then he feels them start to be stretched and pulled out of socket. Pained screams fall out of his stuck open mouth, but then he feels his faceless torturer take a knife to his ears and nose. After yet more bursts of pain, his vision is taken from him as well. As he bleeds out on that table, limbs being forced to a grotesque length, he thinks about all the children lacking parents that he’s helped.
After he’s dead, the assailant praises the girl who lured him. Then the girl takes some of his blood and draws a circle about the table as the torturer pulls the heavy traffic baton off the officer’s belt, cuts off the corpse’s hand, and forces the baton in its place. The torturer steps away as the girl begins to chant an ancient rite.
The corpse stirs. The torturer throughly covers the body with a liquid to preserve it, then unties it. It sits up.
“I have brought you back. You are now under my command.” The little girl smiles.
“And my command is that you reunite every orphan in this world with their parents, even if you must send them to heaven to do so.”
The instant she finishes the order, the creature pounces on her and beats her over and over with the baton, her words still fresh in its mind. As it goes in search of its next victim, the officer that’s still somewhere inside it can only think:
_I love this part of my job._

Not going to lie, the revelation of what happens to the victims when showing where D-1935 went is actually quite sad in a strange bittersweet way; it's still kidnapping and killing people, but the fetal position wrapped around their deceased parents is a pretty gothic way of showing that kind of grief. Thanks for sharing this one; I always enjoy this channel introducing SCP concepts that are just as good and interesting as the overrated ones everyone likes.
The animation just keeps getting better and it's keeping me excited for each new episode
This reminds me of a local legend, where there is a "person" Who keeps on running without being bothered by any calls to them, but when they start going downhill, the "person" stretches taller and taller until when you look at its face, you die. Very cool. Also cool scp

Euclid scps are always so interesting
Safe and Euclids tend to be way more interesting than keters imo.
The majority of all the keters I've seen usually just boil down to "yeah so its this super-powerful monster that could kill thousands of people at once". Or something like that.
Alot of Safe and Euclid SCP's are usually more "believable", small-scale and horror-movie like. It just makes them scarier and more interesting imo

I just got done binging Dr Bob here. On an earlier Dr Bob episode, the one where the SCP appears when someone dies as the dead person and gets their "life together" before dying again, Dr Bob had a list of "things to do" and one of those things was "Call Dr Mom". Has Dr Bob's mom passed :( ? Condolences Dr Bob, and I sincerely appreciate your work :)

I think it would've been cooler if the dead body appeared in the location that they where trying to go to like the guy would still go to the mother's grave as he was trying to find her but the woman would be found dead in the hotel room
So Dr. Bob has the ability to literally come back from the grave. I would like to see an SCP entry about him.

I found out about SPCs and the foundation about a week ago , shortly after I found myself watching a few videos , they were all by Dr.bob! The stories of each SPC I’ve watched have been awesome! I watch them whenever I’m not doing anything!
If you can't process how tall this thing is, according to converting 5 meters into feet, this SCP is 16 feet tall, and its legs alone are 10 feet

This makes me think though, with how the residents ignored the woman long before she met 1366. I think this is their way of saying that she was targeted and focused on long before she saw the SCP.

I'm curious why this SCP has been classified as Euclid and not Keter, since Dr. Bob himself said that containment of it has since proven to be virtually impossible.
