Looking for advice on our 1st saab. Brakes don't work. Have replace master cylinder and brake booster. Mechanic says it passes piston and caliber tests. Its my sons first car.
I washed my saab 9-3 2002 and after the wash the brakes froze. When I started to drive it an hour later the abs and brake fault lights came on the dash after a small bang and abs spotted working entirely. Had it warm up after that for an entire day and the lights are still on. Could it be the abs module or is there something else that may have broken on the brakes because after searching I didn’t find any faults except that the handbrake is slightly seized, but nothing on the abs function. Could it be the abs censor or something like that?

Is the ABS light still on? If yes, you will need a scan tool to read the faults.
@@saabmastertech5852 Luckily no. It stopped today after keeping it in the warm garage. I’m still going to scan it just to be sure.
I did this on my project. I left the fuse book in situ and managed to get it off using an extended 10mm spanner!
Awesome! Is that your first SAAB? 🙂👍
