- Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) keeps thinking she's seeing Dr. Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) even though she knows he's dead, and Dr. Owen Hunt's (Kevin McKidd) news that the autopsy shows they did all they could doesn't ease her mind. Meanwhile, Dr. Cormac Hayes (Richard Flood) visits Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) on the beach to tell her she needs to fight for her life. Criminally! I know hospital life is busy but we should at least have an idea with what's going on with the kids.
Seems so odd how much we've seen them in Meredith's absence. I like that we've seen the kids, but this makes it seem even more weird that we don't really see them normally.
especially Bailey and Ellis. compared to Zola we only see them a few times

Meredith's smile when Derek said she looks perfect is 99.9% Ellen Pompeo. I haven't seen Ellen smile that big in 6 seasons

Meredith and Hayes need to end up together. This scene was everything! The way he spoke about her kids😭❤️. It solidifies for me that Derek (and Hayes’s wife) want them to move on. They’ll be waiting when its their time, but be together until it’s time.

It’s more about her waking up, but maybe a little bit about her getting with Hayes. He clearly loves the kids, and that’s just from watching them on video calls.
I have a huge feeling that last person she will speak to on the beach is her mother. Her mother is the game changer. Why ? Because her mother was a mystery and she found out things about her through her journals.
This time she will get the chance to speak to her mom and speak her truth and allow her mom to speak her truth.

Apart from the drama of the show, the connection between the real world and the spirit world seems soo convinving and peaceful, dont know y. Like people who are no more with us are in a happy place.

When Hayes was talking about how much Ellis looks like Mer my heart melted. The fact that Derek said the same thing at the beginning of this episode makes me think that now they will for sure go with the storyline Mer+Hayes, which I am not mad about. I can definitely see Hayes and Mer having a big, loud and crazy family at the end.

I wanted someone to hug Teddy so bad in this episode. My heart broke for her. Maggie has moments for me this season. She's more present than she's ever been and I love it.
Only thing waking Meredith up at this point would be Yang on a ZOOM call, cussing her out cause she been sleep to long

I really like Hayes a lot. There is a reason Cristina sent him to her. She knew they had a lot in common. They can relate to each other. He has seen children lose a mother through his own sons.
It also sounds like he has gotten to know and even bonded with her children from the video calls.
Derek knows how much the kids mean to her. He would never try to persuade her. Showing that Hayes had an effect means something.
This was the sweetest scene. And the song choice was superb.
That is the kind of smile we all miss from Meredith. Just pure happiness and content. And the thing is, only Derek can give her that.
I, I - just can't believe what they have done to Meredith and Hayes this season.
Pls let Mer and Hayes have a happy and healthy relationship already 😭😭 I’m so happy we are finally getting more scenes of them together I wanna see more of their Chemistry🥺

Its like saving hope that Charlie on the final season of the show dies and wife stay alone with a 2-3 year old son and a pregnant carry their daughter 7 month prego. Charlie sees on the end its passed 50 years after his death, his wife join him at the beach. She said is alright the kids are all grown up now. Thats means she died old didn't remarried nobody else, she had friends help her out with the kids.
If Meredith survive covid, she could raise her kids into their all grown up adults life, Meredith could died on old senior age then join Derek at the beach..
I just love Cormac Hayes in general. He seems like such a great guy and he’s definitely an amazing friend. Hopefully one day I get to know someone like him.

As much as I want Meredith to fight, I feel like she always comes back for the people that she loves and cares about just so she can’t break them. Every life altering decision she made, she made out of selflessness. I really want Meredith this time to make this decision for herself. I wish that she makes this decision not because of the people she loves, but because SHE wants either the life she has or the afterlife. She has sacrificed so much for everyone but herself, and I hope that this time she does something for herself. I want her to know that whether she lives or dies everything and everyone will be ok as long as she is happy. I know that a lot of us have different opinions and many of you will disagree, but this is mine.
And to be completely honest I really want the series to end this season, but the thing that bothers me is that it is a COVID season. I want the series to end where it all started, with Meredith and Derek. I know again many of you will hate me for this, but I want her to go back home and die in her bed, warm and peaceful, around the people she loves. I want her to say her goodbyes and close her eyes and see everyone she has lost and everyone she loves on the beach and then she finally gets to be with the love of her life. God I feel bad saying this myself. I really wish Derek is alive, but I know it is so unlikely and that’s why I hope that the series ends with this. Also I like Hayes and all, but I feel like I prefer Hayes with Jo. And also because Meredith just lost Andrew and I feel like it would be weird for her to move on in just a few episodes. So ya
