I have this machine and have just started watching this series a short while. I really enjoy the show and have picked up alot of useful tips along the way. Keep up the great work, love how this old Rev ended up in the end.
Great video, I work mostly on the 2002 - 2006 REV XP platform with 550F. This, in my opinion, is a great tear-down video showing the main components of a basic snowmobile...mods aside. I work on the west coast of Canada at a local ski hill using this chassis, great machine with a lot of options for air/liquid cooling.
Sure, I like to revisit the classics. it's funny to hear Louis say that he's old school and doesn't have much experience with the "rider-forwards". Powermodz has come a long way. Love ya Louis!
when you started hitting the frame with the hammer to get the chaincase out i got a miniature heart attack, at first i thought you were hammering on the chaincase xD
that's the thing man.. i never jumped my sled yet i was never rough with it only once i went to the power lines trails and there were big rocks sticking out still.. i hit a couple and turned around when i got the chance
Awesome videos, keep 'em coming...just curious how those lights you put on your 700 mod are working for ya. Any chance you could do video showing those lights at night? Looking forward to the IQR build...cheers
You must have a ton of time. To build the 700 ZX mod. Ride it for almost half the season, buy a Rev chassis rip it down to nothing then take apart the ZX to put parts from it onto the Rev and fix, upgrade, mod and install the old ZX parts onto the Rev chassis. I gotta tell you Louie some pretty bad ass shit here.
Hey how much for the 800 motor? I'm interested in buying it for my zx chassis I seized my left cylinder because the oiler line was knocked off while replacing the throttle cable.
2:19 i have the same problem.. my ski is loose but it was alright when i bought the sled i never hit into anything i wasn't rough with it either.. can you please give me few ideas on what it could be............... PLEASE VOTE THIS UP SO HE CAN SEE IT!!! THANKS!
You prolly dont care but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. Have been streaming with my girlfriend for the last weeks xD
