Would have been nice to hear the squeak first, see you actually remove the problem second, and hear the squeak gone third.
I can confirm i only came to hear the type of squeak it was making... So yeah not as helpful as it could be if ya listened to the guy above
One of the most interesting and informative washer repairing videos I have ever watched!!
What if it’s not a Bobby pin or nail?😂. I can’t believe this video actually helped some people.
Replace the pump.
@@rjsmith2007 there's a handful of other reasons a washer will squeak. Like something stuck between the drum and tub, high water pressure, a bad ujoint if squeaking during agitation, bad bearings, etc.
I would imagine you just remove it.
What i needed to see, Thanks. For the people below that are complaining & don't know how to take the back of a washing machine off, Tyler would be happy to charge you $75 to do it......
lol...If only people took the time to do a simple UA-cam search, they would know how easy it is to remove the cabinet.
10/4 lol
Thanks Tyler, with this video I was able to completely fix my washer. Don't know what the other people have a problem with here, it's not a full tear down on purpose.
Did it ever occur to him to let us hear the squeak first.
7777Ralph there was no squeak just an example
Well I need to know if your squeak sounds like mine....cuz mine leaks too...does yours?
Great video - Thanks! Concise yet very informative.
Helpful video. You forgot to cut at 1:19, though lol
That was a deliberate “blooper”. 😊
I don't even know how to get to that part he was removing, geez...
Wow. Thank you so Much. 💓
or if it’s belt driven then check the belt ( looks like a belt from a car ) and check if it’s worn out or anything that looks like it’s not supposed to be then replace it
Is it just me, or do technicians love working on Direct Drive machines more than any other machine?

If your washer is squeaking it’s most likely an Idler pulley/ idler roller or drive belt, not your drain pump 🤣 Where do they find these guys at? It’s embarrassing. If it was a humming noise and your washer was draining slow or not at all then yeah🤦🏾♂️🤣
Well they had the washer fully taken apart so not really. But thank you lol he could've just corrected himself at the end, was weird to repeat it
What was in the rubber hose?
What if the noise is while agitating?
I replaced the hub on my maytag bravos washer, and when I put the plate back on, I screwed the bolt down too tight. It squeaked until I tried the wash cycle without the plate in to see if it still squeaked. It didn't. When I put it back in, I left it a little loose and now it doesn't squeak.
Next video, HoW to Edit You Tube videos.
🤣🤣🤣
Video needs to show how you get to this part he is showing!
Pretty crummy tutorial all the way through. No how to disassemble the washer to get to the pump.
uhhh, make and model? Or will this apply to every single washing machine in existence?
Very vague and not very helpful video. It didnt help me very much.
Seriously? This video does not help.
You didn’t show us how to takeoff the panels to get to the drain pump.
Views to likes ratio is way off
No shit. That was about as un-informative as you can get.
There wasn’t a thing in there - waste of time...
