Thanks very much amigo my hot point make an squeeze sounds but I don't want messed with transmission or motor so I see your video and I do the same with w D40 and a paint brush clean everything and to the last I put a few drops of Blaster now work with no noise long life to you amigo ( sorry for my English by the way).
This worked flawlessly to fix a noisy General Electric washing machine model GE GCWP1000M0WW. For anyone reading, that model of GE washing machine was rebranded as Hotpoint, but it's the exact same washing machine as shown in the video.
Hey man, thanks so much for this video. I have the exact same washer that had just starting make a screeching sound during the wash cycle. I was about to spend $500 on a new washing machine until I saw this. A little wd40 and my issue was solved!!!!
Normally today’s sealed bearings laugh at any attempts to lubricate. I wonder how long the transmission will last? This is a great idea though using the paintbrush to get in there, I hope it lasts for you
My washing machine has a different squeak sound, but i found this video so entertainingly i watched till the end anyways 😂
CeIinky 😋👍

@@wildwoodtop What kind of washer you got now?
Thanks brother ,for taking the time to make this video. It fixed the problem. 😊
You are welcome 👍
Like the way u hook up cold water 2 back of washer with a Johnny Cash adapter. We use a y fitting & regular washer hoses.
Never heard of a Johnny Cash apparatus 😂 but I do use the Y connector in other vids 👍
A wiser and more creative answer.
Thank you sir. 😊
You are welcome 👍
bro got the dream house

Thats a rare one-piece agitator! Not many out there. My grandma has a 2 piece or dual-action agitator on her GE.
Thumbs up for AT LEAST that comment on today's particularity lol, luv it
Tier 😋👍
Do all washers have that removable front? cause that would have helped me a few times 🤣.
I don't know 🤪 It seem to be too easy 😂
Nope
The whirlpool design needs the entire body removed to get to the tub, or water valve .
Nice job
Knight Train 👍 Thx
You need to a new knob on it
Only if you want to use the hot water feature 🤭
A knob won’t help 🤷🏼♀️
you need the water level pressure switch to attach a knob to
What gear oil do these washers use?
Any thick lubricant. I used bicycle chain lube on the shaft 7:18 (I didn't do anything internally like the transmission or gearbox)
Gracias
Touche
WD-40 isn't lube, dude..
Thanks for the Timestamp Dude! 7:18 🤟
@@wildwoodtop Oh, boy. My apologies. I didn't read the entire label.
