Most if not all Ogryns who fight for Chaos were tricked into thinking the ones giving orders were still talking to the emperor, until it was too late for them. Strange to see the lore has now changed with that.
So, minor correction to your lore: the 'men of stone' are most likely the distant ancestors of the Kin of the Leagues of Votann -- genetically engineered demi-humans with a low Warp presence meant to serve, along with their AI and robotic counterparts, as humanity's mining and exploration system in the galactic deep core. The term "men of stone" is probably a linguistic corruption over the eras, with the original term probably being closer to "mining clones".

Ogryn: 9+ ft and 2000lbs Feats: one Ogryn dragged a chimaera 20yrds Space Marine (no armor): 7.5+ and 1000lbs Feats: they can carry 1300kg with ease Hand to hand no armor, Ogryn eats a marine 7/10 times. Marines are very skilled and fast af but the strength difference is extreme. With armor 10/10 space marine no questions asked.
It makes me wonder if the chapter master from the Carcharodons chapter (space sharks) could be an Ogryn. Not much is known about him other then that he's much larger then normal space marines and pretty bloodthirsty.
