    The blueberry color changes due to a change in pH :) the anthocyanins in the berries change when the pH changes and that affects the color. It's the same way you can change the colors of butterfly pea tea or cabbage :)

    I’ve been making your overnight oat recipes for meal prep for 2 months now and you’ve turned me into an overnight oat fan! I live in Texas so I will take any opportunity to not turn on the stove or oven. Last week, we made the mango ones and mangos are my favorite fruit so I think those are my favorite so far! My husband really loved the peach ones, though. All so good!!

    I have peaches, mango, and blueberries so I will try those flavors. I'm not a fan of overnight oats so I will try it your way. Sometimes I blend a banana with plant milk for the liquid in cooked oats. Makes it sweet enough that no additional sweetener is needed.

    Thank you very much for your new video! I have been subscribed to your channel for several years and I look forward to each of your long videos. I don't always watch short ones. It’s not because I don’t like your shorts (I like yours very much actually), it’s just that this format on UA-cam doesn’t work for me yet.
    I am not a vegan, but I watch with interest how you cook, get inspired by your recipes and have great respect for your approach to cooking. All oatmeal recipes look very interesting. I will definitely try one with blueberries.
    I also absolutely love the vlogs on your channel and the garden updates. In general, you shoot great talented cozy videos and I think each of them is worth watching. So whatever you want to share with the viewers of your channel - I'll be looking forward to it. I wish you inspiration and good luck in your hobby and work!

    • @CaitlinShoemaker
      @CaitlinShoemaker  10 місяців тому +1

      That's a great idea! I think it could work, but you would probably want to reduce the liquid a bit and maybe add more flax or chia to help it hold together

    Can anyone tell me if you have to wait a full night to eat overnight oatmeal. What if I don't eat breakfast until around noon or 1pm, can I make the oatmeal at 8am and eat at noon? I am kinda new at this.

    • @CaitlinShoemaker
      @CaitlinShoemaker  10 місяців тому

      Yes! It will still thicken some, just not as much. If it's too runny for your taste you may want to reduce the liquid amount by 1/4 cup or so next time :)
