  • Introducing our 25-minute Mindful Movement meditation video, an innovative approach designed to harness the power of the Vagus Nerve through gentle, intentional movements. This session is tailored for individuals who find traditional seated or lying down meditation challenging, offering an alternative path to mindfulness that emphasizes the connection to one's body and the transition into a parasympathetic state, away from the sympathetic fight-or-flight response.
Our Mindful Movement practice is rooted in the principles of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), renowned for their effectiveness in fostering awareness, relaxation, and mental well-being. This session is meticulously crafted to guide you through a series of movements that not only promote physical ease but also facilitate a deeper engagement with the present moment, enhancing mental clarity and emotional equilibrium.
Incorporating Mindful Movement into your routine is particularly beneficial for enhancing vagal tone, a key factor in regulating stress responses and emotional balance. By engaging in mindful physical activity, you can positively influence the vagus nerve, which plays a crucial role in shifting your body's state towards relaxation and recovery. This shift is associated with a plethora of health benefits, including increased stress resilience, emotional stability, and overall physical well-being.
Moreover, this practice is an integral component of holistic mindfulness and leadership development programs like The Vanguard Leadership Mindfulness Program. By combining the transformative potential of Mindful Movement with the insights and techniques from MBSR and MBCT, we offer a comprehensive approach to mindfulness that addresses the needs of individuals at all levels of physical mobility and mindfulness experience.
Engaging in Mindful Movement not only provides a practical solution for those who struggle with traditional meditation forms but also opens up a new avenue for achieving heightened self-awareness, cognitive flexibility, and emotional regulation. This approach is especially advantageous for senior leaders and professionals in fast-paced environments, where quick decision-making, resilience, and mental clarity are paramount.
By integrating Mindful Movement into your mindfulness practice, you'll discover a powerful tool for navigating life's challenges with greater ease, fostering a mindful approach to leadership and personal growth. This practice encourages a shift away from reactive responses and towards a more deliberate, thoughtful way of being, enhancing your ability to make informed decisions and manage complex situations effectively.
Join us on this transformative journey through Mindful Movement, where we aim to elevate your performance, well-being, and leadership capabilities. Guided by rigorous academic research and extensive real-world experience, we are committed to supporting your journey towards unparalleled achievements in both personal and professional spheres.

Brilliant! Getting out of the Adrenaline-Cortisol loop, and shift into the Parasympathetic inner peace and calm. Huge benefits. [Deepak Chopra has a couple of good videos about this.] There are so many simple exercises. Eye movements, gargling, sounds, meditation, intentional breath, self massage and tapping at Vagal points. GREAT WORK. Appreciated. This practice works. Our morning routines should be our sanctuary for inner peace and self regulation.
    Namaste.

Yes. How we start our day determines how our nervous system will support us throughout the day.

my favorite were the exercises with the hands, it was so relieving to move them so slowly... next time I'll move them even slower. Also liked your words towards the end (though I did not understand everything - being Austrian). Thanks a lot. Your work is badly needed.

    Hi Justin!
I found your video very soothing, like after a live yoga class!
I had a massive neck tension due to Lyme and full moon tide, so even Yoga nidra didn't help.
Thanks to youtube I have created a tension release session with a sound bath, coherent breathing and finally your wonderfully relaxing session.
Feeling super chilled and less tense.
Thank you so much for sharing your videos and knowledge!
